The bakery is a proofed. What I liked: There was a clear line, so it's not like exiting Dodger Stadium. Service was friendly. Decent selection. Prices weren't cheap, but not a whole lot of bread. The mushroom danish was excellent with a creamy center that tasted like mushroom cream cheese with thyme, onion, and lemon. What I didn't like: The garlic cheese pretzel did not taste like garlic or cheese or pretzel. Instead, it was tasted more a greasy, sweet onion roll. Don't get me wrong--- I swallowed it down, but it was mismarketed. I also didn't like lack of seating, though there's a shared sitting area at the intersection.

Came to this location on two occasions, once over a weekend and one during a weekday. Both times, the shop was pretty desolate. All I observed was a sad looking microwave oven in the front, one guy hunched over on a laptop, and a woman telling everyone when they expect their next shipment of items. Lol. They act as if their primary location isn't 15 mins away.I did try a plain croissant and it was really stale. I am a LG resident and we won't be coming back to this location again :(

I was waiting to see who would replace Manresa Bread in their old location. Croissante may not have the same brand and cache but is a worthy replacement. The decor is inviting and warm. The goodies were great. I had my first matcha and white chocolate scone which was delightful. Service was attentive but not a fan of the overly friendly "man" at the end of every sentence. I will be back!

This small bakery is just a preview of their large bakery on el Camino in Santa Clara. Therefore I recommend going there instead for the full experience. Even so I always suggest getting the ham and cheese, vanilla cube, French toast, and basque cheesecake. Those are always the most addicting choices. Service can be slowIn the small bakery with only two employees. There is only outdoor seating, which can be a little cold in the winter. Not much to write about the ambiance when you're sitting outside.

I'm surprised that I'd never heard of this French-style bakery before, since I'm a sucker for all things French and baked! Apparently this bakery has been a hit in Santa Clara for some time, but this Los Gatos location is only a month old (so now it makes sense!). My husband and I decided to check it out a few days ago and were surprised that on a weekday at 10am, many of their pastries were already down to the last few or last one! So word to the wise, if you want to try multiple things, you have to get here early, even on a weekday! We got the last Flaxseed & Maple Syrup Croissant, and it was tasty--not too sweet, a nice balance of sweetness & kind of nuttiness from the flaxseeds, and definitely sticky (from the maple syrup of course!). Make sure to grab a napkin or two! Tbh, while it was good, we both agreed that it didn't hit it out of the park compared to the croissants we've had in France. But maybe that's not a fair comparison, right? Either way, it just didn't have that lightness, airiness and flakyness that we've had before in a great croissant. Still, it was a nice treat and we appreciate that they say they import some of their ingredients from France to help make their treats as authentic as possible. There are about 4 or so small tables outside, but no seating inside. I'd say the interior is simple, clean, and has a subtle elegance with the blue color scheme and glass display cases. Customer service was ok, but not particularly warm or friendly. I'm sure they're still ironing out some kinks being pretty new on the block and right after the holidays!

Been to the OG location and came across this one when I was in town. Visited late in the morning on a sunday, no line literally no one except me and the employees. It was so quiet, I almost missed it.Love the quality here and you can taste the difference in the flour that they import, so even those with mild gluten intolerances can enjoy these treats! I have chocolate fiends at home and they loveddddd the triple chocolate croissant, so rich. The matcha wasn't a favorite, the flavor didn't taste like the right matcha powder for baking or icing / maybe not the right grade. The cube was so good, I saved it and ate it over the next couple of days. The actual croissant and pastry of their items are amazing, I would put this up there with Aristicault in SF.

Horrible customer experience. They're supposed to be open till 4 and at 11 they' ran out of most items. Standing in line for ~45min to walk in on empty shelves. And there are about 20 people behind us in line still. They need to make announcements that they're out of most items.I didn't even get to try what I came for so can't really rate the food.I'm not sure if I'll be back anytime soon. And will not recommend to anyone till they figure out their flow.

Noelle's Yelp Notebook 2024Post Pandemic Chronicles Dear Croissante,I first fell in love with you at your original location in Santa Clara for so many reasons. The first reason I fell in love with your Santa Clara location is simply for the fact you have the most delectable sweet pastries, savory pastry items, and the most amazing items for lunch like your salads and burger. The salad dressing was so amazing I wish you bottled and sold it. Your Santa Clara location is a spot where I'd meet family and friends. When I heard about your Los Gatos location I was so happy because you're extremely close to home.I wish you had your savory lunch items at your Los Gatos location. I know it's probably difficult because it's a smaller location. Yet, please consider having a few lunch items. It would be my one stop shop- my favorite pastries and a sandwich to go :)I came here yesterday after lunching at Steamer's Grillhouse. It was great to see Kaitlynn from your Santa Clara location. Excellent customer service. The ambiance is lovely- the delicious pastries in the beautiful glass displays.I bought pastries for my family and they loved them!!You're a great addition to the town of Los Gatos.I'm excited to try the stollen. In the words of the Dashboard Confessionals song, 'Stolen,' - 'You have stollen my heart :)Love in 2024,Sweet NoelleNoelle's NotesGreat pastriesAmazing customer serviceA favorite in my Yelp Notebook

One of the best croissants I've ever had, perfect flakiness and inside texture - the apple turnover was not too sweet. Friendly and efficient service - they had a long line of folks but kept the line moving as quickly as they could. Two people working but flowed well. Small shop but clean and nice. Saturday morning lines are real so come before 11am or you might miss out.

Located next to Wells Fargo in downtown LG where Manressa used to be, it's a small space and they have a fair selection of baked goods but we were really looking for fruit/berry tarts. We ended up getting a mini tiramisu for our picnic and it was perfectly delicious with our red wine.Service was quick & friendly on a Sunday afternoon and outdoor seating is available at a few tables. Parking is everywhere & it's a flat entry so it's accesable for anyone. If they had they had the tarts we hoped to find it would be 5 stars.
