Visited upstairs for Happy Hour on a Thursday. Not crowded and great Feb weather. Enjoyed a Spicy margarita (off menu) while the other ladies enjoyed Palomas. Chips and salsa provided, although the salsa comes in tiny containers. We could use larger. As for food- we didnt care for the sweet potato tacos. Guacamole was extra limey. Not bad though. Tamale verde started off really good but the second peice felt a bit under cooked I really enjoyed the sunset views, tasty drinks and great service. This is why I gave our happy hour experience four stars

Let me make this short and simple.Drinks- REALLY good drinks, you cannot go wrong with any of themFood- ordered the aguachiles didn't know they came on top of the tostada. By the time I ate them the tostada was already soggy, wish they would just separate the two bc no one wants soggy tostadas. My bf got the carne asada salad which was quite disappointing, salad itself looks like they took it out a bag and honestly not very much carne asada. Also ordered the Baja tacos which were just okay. Oh and we never got our "complimentary" jicama!

Don't miss out on a trip to this place! This restaurant is 100% gluten free and has fantastic labels on their menu for food allergies. When I asked for no cheese on my food the waitress added a note that I have a dairy allergy. They take food allergies seriously. I was able to enjoy a dinner with my coworkers, who don't have any food restrictions, and feel like a normal person at a restaurant. I can't express how much that feeling means to people like me with serious food restrictions. The food was absolutely delicious and my coworkers also enjoyed their meal as well. Don't let the gluten free label scare you away, nothing here needs it, they aren't doing any wild substitutions that I can tell. The service was also amazing, the staff kept our water and other drinks topped off, and we're consistently, not annoyingly, asking if we needed anything. The staff noticed I still had more carnitas but was out of tortillas, before I could ask for another they brought out 2 more! The restaurant is clean with music playing that isn't too loud to interfere with a conversation. There is outdoor seating available, as well as bar and traditional tables and booths.

The restaurant felt very warm and cozy. Definitely a place that families go to and the decorations were really cute. I ordered the carnitas which I thought were a solid 7/10. While the presentation was really good, I thought the carnitas were a little too greasy and the tortillas were cold. Pricing was decent.10/10 vibes though! I would come again to try their drinks. Seems like they have a pretty extensive drinks menu.

I recently visited Copita in Willow Glen and had a great experience! The atmosphere is vibrant and cozy, making it a perfect spot brunch or dinner. The staff was friendly and attentive, which added to the overall positive vibe.I have to dock two stars because the salad, ensalada de pollo, I ordered was underwhelming & basic. When it was served to me, it was a big "oh...." to me. It was weirdly plated making the dish look flat & unappetizing. Put it in a bowl for more depth or something! The flavor was subpar. The lettuce felt like it was drenched in the dressing, 3 pieces of roasted zucchini, 3 pieces of fried cheese, chopped avocado. If im gonna pay over $25 for a salad, I want to be WOWd.Other than the salad, I loved their cafe de olla. So cute that it came with 2 small pieces of churros. Guacamole & chips were great. My friends loved their food & drinks! That said, I wouldn't hesitate to come back to Copita for their standout main dishes and drinks. If they can bring their salads up to par with the rest of their menu, they'd easily earn a 5-star rating from me!

Returned for the second time with a reservation in their dining room (with their dinner menu). You can make reservations on their website. Once again, all of the staff was very kind and attentive. Their dinner menu has lots of vegetarian options! Love it. I still enjoyed their crispy chips and guac and their delicious paps bravas. For my entree I ordered their Tetela Oaxaca. It's kind of like a big doughier empanada filled with cheese and beans on top of a red mole sauce. It was delicious! I've never had something like this before. And it was filling too. I'm happy to say I'm looking forward to returning again :).

I usually come here for happy hours on the rooftop so can only speak on that, but based on my experiences so far, this place is solid! Food: their Brussels sprouts are yum. I also love the guac, the ceviches/crudos, and pretty much anything off the happy hour menu is tasty tbh. You can't go wrong. Churros for dessert are also good.Drinks: $10 during happy hour. my favorites are the Paloma and moody blues--get these if you like fruity cocktails. Also if your table gets two drinks you get a free plate of chips so that's a nice plus.Service: hit or miss in terms of how responsive they are. check your receipt to also make sure things were getting charged at happy hour price if you ordered during happy hour Ambiance: cute! The rooftop is cozy and I love how some of them have little fire pits in the middle, which is helpful for keeping warm if you're going in the winter. Parking: usually not hard to find, there's a parking lot, also nearby parking structures and street parking

Came here with my coworkers. I love how there's a rooftop upstairs. It was such perfect weather and comfy lounging. The food is actually pretty good. The drinks were also really good and refreshing. Some items can be on the pricier side. I honestly don't have any complaints. The servers were fun and attentive. I would come back again. Here comes the food review...Chips and guacamole with crickets: what an experience and very tasty 5/5Fried calamari: pretty good with the sauce 4/5Not pictured: wings 5/5 very flavorful Tuna tostadas: pretty good! 4/5Shrimp ceviche: really refreshing. Bomb with chips. 4/5Overall everything was really good, just pricey. I love how they have their own small parking area next to it too!

Came here for a quick drink & snacks. Loved it. The place is big and offers a lot of rooftop outdoor area which is fun. They have fun music and place has a good pulse. The staff were friendly and helpful with the menu. The food came out as expected.- Guacamole w/chips & added crickets: tasty. And if you dare, try the crickets. Too many crickets, we wanted to try a couple not to eat a whole bowl. Give less & charge less.- Ceviches: good amount of seafood, veggies and good lemon. Enjoyed it.- Brussels: always a favorite and these were good.

We'd like to start off by saying the food was really good, but the service could have been better. Went around brunch, and it was very empty. Our server wasn't very friendly and seemed to have a lot of attitude in the beginning. tried to be understanding since we had a larger party, so people were still trickling in, and I had to explain that. Drinks came out quickly. However, the food took quite a long time est over an hour. We had the Chilaquiles and the Birria Taco, both good but the Burria tacos were kinda small for the price. I have a very low spice tolerance, and both dishes were perfect for this. The Red Salas on the Chilaquiles is very flavorful and the Tacos had a nice selection of topping. For large party's tip is 20% and is already added however I must say from the service we received so early on it didn't seem like the tip they deserved.
