Food & drink prices seem standard, from looking at their signs. Foods are quite yummy and come in big portions. (others ordered and paid all the times i've been here)a good amount of seating, despite the small size of the bar.sound system isn't much to rave about, but it does the job. the owners & staff are super cool about putting in your requested songs, just go up and ask them if your song hasn't come up (they can always pull it up on youtube). they also seem to open until whenever you want to leave. we were here til 2-3am once and they were not kicking us out. This might depend on who you are with ;)Only one restroom for men&women, gets pretty dirty, so be prepared to deal with that. I hate when people smoke cigarettes indoors, and although most viet bars dgaf about that, the crowd that comes here is generally better about NOT doing it, so I prefer coming here than other viet bars.

Been a few years since my last review of this place. My rating is more 2.5 stars but since they stay open late when people still wanna party, I'll give them 3 stars.Been here a handful of times after boycotting this place for a few years. Still miss the old Asia Bay days but to be honest most of the viet bars arent as fun as they used to be 5-10 years ago.The food is pretty good here but a bit on the pricey side. They actually have a decent liquor menu now, but I suggest if you're going to do shots, it's better ordering a bottle. They even got Jameson now! The service depends on which girls they have working. There's been times when it's been fun and great & there's been times when it was kinda non-existent. The cool thing about this place is that even though their hours say they close at 12am, if there's enough customers still hanging out, they'll stay open late to accommodate. Heck, there's times I've seen customers coming in at 1am or later as if they were drinking elsewhere before but wanna continue the party so they come here.

This place is a small bar that opens late. Only tried peanuts and hot pot, but drank here a handful of times. My friends like to go here after drinking at other bars that closes early. The hot pot was good, it was sweet with a lot of spice and flavor. Restrooms are dirty and theirs no soap at times. Also, floor is slippery in the restroom at times, best to walk with caution. Karaoke all night and more like an older crowd goes here. Always request the songs you want to sing right away, because sometimes theirs a long wait to sing. Service is usually good.

Decent Vietnamese drinking/karaoke place! There's signs that stated HAPPY HOUR BEER $2.50. Also there are 10-12 items that are $10 for HAPPY HOUR. HH is from 5-7pm. Our group of 8 ppl order all 10 HH food items at $10 ea. We also order 40 beers! The owner said she can't bring out all 40 beers bcus it's in the of other tables. When we got the bills, beer was charged at $3 ea not $2.50 like the sign stated. I asked the owner and she said "oh sign is a few years old". Told her better correct her sign cus other ppl will complain and some will not pay for the bills!

Bad.. bad.. bad! This place is horrible! The girls here are money hungry! After giving them a bunch of "hand tip," they'd still run after us for some extra "table tips!" On top of that, be aware! They would also invite themselves with cigarettes & alcohols, then when the bill comes out, they deny ordering all that! Ridiculously unacceptable!

The food has always been above par here, even with the few changes in ownership ~it still has the most creative, visual menu ever & pricing is decent. The owner is very interactive & accomodating with guests and the waitresses are always ready to battle with you, via shots that is. People tend to migrate here after their retreat from the other bars. Due to the fact that Co La is next to a Pho restaurant (Pho Ha which closes at 2am) & situated on the same block that has the biggest restaurant venue infamous for its large capacity weddings, you will find very few nights of Co La being half empty. Doors open at 5pm & that's when you get undivided attention from all the hostesses & ideal for getting one's "ews" on (Eating With Strangers). If a tad bit more attention was given for upkeeping the restrooms, then Co La would be overall a great venue.

Great place with lovely staff, friendly atmosphere, good food and nice karaoke songs. Everything here is 100% Vietnamese: it is the shortest way to get away from California and spend an evening in Saigon.
