Clover is one of my favorite places to grab a small bite. Parking is horrific on weekends, with everyone going to Mitsuwa or eating at restaurants nearby. On several occasions, we had to loop around the lot or just leave because it was impossible to find parking. The line also gets incredibly long, and it gets crowded--especially when people don't list to the in store person limit that's literally on the door...However, whenever we go on weekdays it is super chill. I love the pork bun and the fruit sandos! They make for really great foods to pack for a hike. My boyfriend loves the egg sando and tuna sando. Highly recommend, but be wary of when you go.

Clover Bakery & Cafe is located in the Strawberry Park Shopping Center. The parking here is pretty difficult, especially on the weekends. Similar concept from other bakeries - there are cases of baked good and such, and you just grab a tray and pair of tongs to pick what you want. Wish I got a chance to try one of their rice balls, but there was not that many choices to pick from in the afternoon when we stopped by. I did get to try this spaghetti sandwich thing they had, which was a small one for just a few bucks. It tasted a bit weird as a combo though, and it was not that great as a sandwich, so I ended up just eating the spaghetti and tossing the bread roll.

It's been a while since I've been back! I was a bit disappointed with the freshness of the pastries though! I used to come here often when I went to school nearby and came today since I was in the area. I decided to try the spaghetti bread and a few of the pastries that were new. The spaghetti bread was just ok, I wouldn't get it again. I also got the tomatoes bread with cheese and hot dog but it tasted a bit stale (the bread was sticking to the paper so was a bit hard to take off). They also had some new pastries on the menu such as the UFO green tea / chocolate flavor bread. Whenever I go here I would always like ordering the triangle seaweeds roll from here. My to go to would always be the triangle salmon roll. Overall it's a nice small affordable pastries spot that I would go to if in the area! Great for a quick snack!

Stumbled into this packed bakery while we were waiting for the restaurants to open for lunch. Lots of pastries available, all for about $3 each. Got the chocolate croissant (which was good and chocolately), cream horn (surprisingly a bun, not made of puff pastry, corn bun (very pepery, not sweet like the chinese version) a bag of Christmas butter cookies (nicely decorated and crispy and a veggie croquette sandwich (that was good).I liked the cookies and the croquette sandwich the best. The kids enjoyed the croissant. I can pass on the other stuff. There's a long line but the workers move everyone one fast.

Came in for a quick snack, and loved the little bakery section and rice ball options. Everything was delicious and a great price. I ordered the Siracha salmon onigiri, and it was pretty tasty. They served it warm, and the woman behind the counter was very friendly. They have a lot of options to choose from, and everything looks like it was made with attention to detail, time, and care. Will definitely be back!

My favorite little bakery in SJ if not all of the greater Bay Area. Thank you to the viral videos that led me here. There's usually a line out the door and they do sell out of popular options but it's so worth it. The masago bread is my absolute favorite. I could live off these. They do limit you to four of each item (so I guess I can only live off of them for a day). Lots of bread options, both sweet and savory as well as a great selection of onigiri, spam musubi, cakes, drinks. Staff are always so nice and constantly replenishing bread. Line goes by fairly quickly.

First time here and we will be back for sure. Reasonably priced and very good quality. They had tons of other bakery items but we stuck with the onigiri for today. We ended up getting spicy tuna, miso pork, teriyaki chicken, unagi, and salmon sake. All very good and just nit picking at this point, but the miso pork could have used a little more meat in it. The flavor was great but wanted more! The spicy tuna was also good and had a decent kick to it ! Would highly recommend this place! Especially with all the different onigiri, you'll find one you like. Lastly, service was quick and easy!

Love coming here and they are really friendly and the food is affordable for how fresh it is. The spicy tuna sandwich def is pretty spicy FYI. I had it with their green tea latte which was made to order and was fresh and just the right mix of matcha, coffee, and milk. The ikura salmon onigiri was warm and so umami with its salty and rich flavor contrasted with the crispy seaweed and fluffy white rice. I am saving the pastries for later so I'll have to update the review with comments on those. Worth coming to check out this authentic Japanese bakery that has so much more than just simple pastries with its delicious barista, Musubi, onigiri, bread, and sandwiches.

For my birthday dinner, I decided to look for a cute small cake addition to my party as often times large cakes are not eaten and go to waste. After extensive research around the Bay Area I decided to go with Clover Bakery's mini strawberry cake. On the morning of my celebration, I called the bakery to reserve one for pick-up before closing. The worker who answered was incredibly pleasant and made the interaction smooth and efficient.Heads-up for anyone planning to visit: Clover Bakery is located in the Mitsuwa Plaza, where parking can be a challenge, especially if you are short on time. Clover bakery almost always has a line -- coming right before closing means no lines, no waiting, but also no bread as they usually sell out quickly. The mini strawberry cake itself was perfect for the occasion. Its petite size made it ideal for photos, and it provided just the right amount of cake for guests to enjoy after a full three-course dinner. Bonus points as my venue placed the cake on a gold pedestal, which made it look even more stunning. My guests loved the cake! They noted that the cake was delightfully spongy, and the cream was fresh, light, and perfectly creamy. Noting that this cake is not suitable for gluten-free diners as it is not gluten free.Clover Bakery's mini strawberry cake was a hit, and I'd happily do it all over again for my next birthday. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a simple yet elegant dessert to elevate their celebration.
