Cedar Room

*Visited on Tuesday 1/28/2025 around 8pm I'm been visiting cedar room with my cousin over the past 3 years and was always left feeling happy and relaxed. The staff here are pretty kind and attentive, however during busy nights be sure to be a little more open and patient as they tend to get pretty packed here. The bartender who had helped up out during this visit was very kind and made sure we were happy with our drinks as some of the items on the menu were either sold out or they had been recently taken off the menu. The bar itself is pretty cool- it's versatile as it can be both a great place for a small group or for an intimate little bar date. OKAY FOODS & DRINKS: * you can't really go wrong with drinks here- I love their rotating cocktails & mocktails and my boyfriend loves trying their different taps. * The House fries are SCRUMPTIOUS and a pretty decent size to share!! * Of the small amount of times I've ordered their wings, they've always came out crispy and tasty. Honestly, you can't go wrong with a visit to Cedar Room and there's also a theater right next to it!

Pretty decent happy hour menu, it wasn't busy in here on a weekday early evening, but parking at the Pruneyard at that hour can still be tricky. Staff was friendly and quick to provide service. HH drinks were tasty and even though we didn't order food off the HH menu, there were a few HH items available, as well as the regular full menu. It looks like they do social events here as well, so keep that mind depending on when you chose to come. Location may be a bit hard to find since they are tucked into a corner, but look for Starbird and the optometry place right next to it. They are tucked into the back corner next to to the optometry place, to the right of the theater.

Love bingo night with queens of Campbell! The energy is absolutely incredible and everyone feels like family! I came on a night where they had a Barbie theme and it was such a great pre birthday celebration Food was pretty good and service was amazing considering how packed it was. I would show up at least an hour early if you want a table!

Upon entering the Cedar Room, you immediately feel the warmth and coziness of the place, thanks to the beautiful wood decor that stretches from walls to ceiling. The wood panels in warm tones give the space a rustic yet inviting vibe. The atmosphere is relaxed, with families enjoying their meals while patrons sip drinks at the bar, creating a perfect balance between a friendly neighborhood hangout and a stylish cocktail bar.We visited late on a Friday evening, eager to explore their cocktails. While they offer the classic drinks, it's clear that their specialty lies in tiki-inspired creations that showcase the bartenders' and owners' creativity. Every drink we tried was perfectly balanced, flavorful, and unique.First, we had the Titanium Salute--a refreshing mix of Tito's Vodka, freshly squeezed lime juice, spicy habanero-infused simple syrup, St. Germaine Elderflower, and fresh mint leaves. It had the perfect amount of kick from the habanero, balanced by the brightness of the lime and mint.Next was the Nitro Zombie--a powerful concoction of Jamaican and Haitian rums, falernum, lime juice, grapefruit juice, grenadine, absinthe, and overproof rum. This drink was a tropical explosion with depth and complexity, ideal for tiki lovers.We also tried the Royal Garden, a fragrant and refreshing mix of Empress Gin, Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur, freshly squeezed lime juice, house-made lavender-infused simple syrup, and fresh sage leaves. The floral notes paired beautifully with the sage, making it a delicate yet delicious cocktail.Lastly, we had the Vampire Cosmo--a delightful blend of Platinum 7 Vodka, fresh lime juice, blood orange purée, Grandeza Orange Liqueur, and house-made simple syrup. It was both tart and sweet, with a rich citrus flavor that kept us sipping.The bartender was attentive, friendly, and clearly skilled, adding to the enjoyable experience. It was a fun night filled with fantastic drinks and a relaxed atmosphere. Cedar Room is definitely a spot we'll be returning to for its creative cocktails and inviting ambiance. Also, they have a daily happy hour (4-6pm)! Highly recommend!

The drinks here are so good! If you're looking for a nice place with yummy cocktails, definitely check them out. Would highly recommend for a night out with fiends or date night.

I went here for a date night with my hubby. Chill neighborhood bar ambiance with a really good beer list and tasty cocktails. The Parmesan garlic fries were very yummy also. It is a small place, so our server was attentive too. It is right next to the Pruneyard Cinemas so can be a nice place to grab a drink before or after.

Another amazing evening at the Cedar Room last Saturday! The two servers, a man and woman, who waited on us were fantastic, very attentive. My Picante Margarita was perfect as well. The band was top notch, one of the best in the area.The reviews slamming the manager are so unwarranted. I knew a mother who was killed by a drunk driver, along with several of her children. It was later determined the driver got drunk at a nearby bar. It could have been avoided had he been cut off. I'd rather a restaurant be extra safe and diligent on cracking down on those who are hammered. Don't these people know the business will be liable?? Not to mention it's the right thing to do. These young adults need to own up to their horrible behavior instead of posting slanderous Yelp reviews. Do better people.

Bingo night with the Queens of Campbell (which happens every other Wednesday) was extraordinary!! We arrived 1 hour 15 minutes early (start time was 7:30pm) and there were only a few tables/seats left, most outside in the patio... but the staff was awesome moving us closer to the "stage" and eventually inside as cancellations/no-shows occurred. Regardless of where you sit, the queens dance around to all the tables throughout the venue. We enjoyed dinner and drinks before (and during) the show. Service was outstanding! All of the food exceeded our expectations. I've had food and drinks here many times, both while watching movies at the Pruneyard Cinemas theater (as they serve food/drinks directly to your seat in the auditoriums) and stopping by the bar after catching a film in the attached theater. But it's been a while, so I was reminded that you get what you pay for here, and that's decent portions and quality ingredients, for a slightly higher price. Totally worth it! The breaded mushrooms were juicy and flavorful with a light breading, not too heavy, sauce on the side unnecessary. The mac and cheese with the buffalo chicken was amazing, cheesy, just the right amount of sauce, and not too spicy, with a generous amount of tender diced chicken to balance out the carbs. The tri tip french dip was tasty as well, the au jus not too salty, and the lightly salted fries cooked perfectly, simple but so satisfying. All of the drinks we tried had great flavor (royal garden, vampire cosmo, when harry met sally, and a special jameson lavender cocktail for the event), but were light on the alcohol and not as good as the food. For the Queens of Campbell drag queen bingo event, the entertainment was nonstop, including audience members celebrating weddings, birthdays, and other special occasions being put on the spot (even dressed up by the queens in RuPaul's drag race style), bingo tie breakers with winners dancing for the crowd, and an engaging wig contest. And it's free to attend and play (and watch and enjoy the show too), with prizes including gift cards for Pruneyard Cinemas and even Southwest Airlines (this past Wed). Well, it's not REALLY free, cuz it's too fun and delicious not to spend money on food and drinks while you're there (and of course tip the staff and entertainers). But you do get free bingo cards with every item you purchase. The ambience here is awesome for a girls night out (or guys) or date night, casual but classy, great decor and decent lighting, and an energetic atmosphere during special events. Great music before and after the show, mostly pop hits while we were there. They also do karaoke on Sundays, and live music on other days. Cedar Room is sooo much more than just a bar attached to the movie theater!!!

Where to EVEN BEGIN. Cedar room was absolutely the perfect place for my husband's 40th birthday party. They were awesome with us from the GET. Ray and the bartenders created a custom cocktail named it and even pulled various drinks from their menu and relabeled them based on the occasion and the theme- entirely Back to the Future. Their marketing person, Ashlee, worked with me on creating custom birthday signs and custom menu cards! They set up the tvs so we could play old photos on loop throughout the night. Ray worked with me on literally EVERYTHING from decor (including little back to the future surprises the venue got) to the food menu with Jeremy: we picked some favorites, two different pizzas, Philly cheesesteak sliders, fries, pretzel bites, fried pickles and everything was an absolute hit! The bar staff was so fast and professional the entire night and incredibly fun! They let us in (much) earlier than our reservation to decorate and even let us stay later than they closed (an absolute mistake on my part which I discovered later) but instead of being strict/harsh about the time limit which they absolutely could have been, they were incredibly generous to stay as late as we did! The venue even came up with some incredible surprises of their own that went absolutely above and beyond!!! It was clear they were so excited about the party and theme and they're passionate about making these kinds of experiences special. I got so many texts the week of from Ray updating me on all the details they would finish along the way so I never had to ask for anything!! I had guests asking if we were friends with the staff that's how amazing they treated everyone but before this party we weren't! They were just GREAT!We used to go to Cedar Room just for a quick drink and always loved our experience but we cannot wait to have more festivities happen here. My husband was absolutely floored. I cannot sing their praises enough!!!!
