"I've been to Curry Up Now, three times. Which is a surprise because I've been getting pizzas at New York Pizza for years. But myself and my mother "discovered" this little place one day on a walk when we couldn't decide what to eat. And we are so glad we did! We've ordered the big share platter. The Tikki Masala and Butter chicken are just chefs kiss. The naan bread is so warm and fresh out of the oven. We tried their chicken tacos for the first time yesterday and it's definitely going to be a dish that I order for future visits. My mom loves the mango yogurt drink. The very kind lady working the register (I forgot your name I'm so sorry) is always polite and helpful when trying to decide what to order. She gives us such a warm welcome when we visit. I recommend this place 100%. The food is fresh and you can tell they put effort and thought into their ingredient and dishes."
"I think this place makes pretty good North Indian dishes - like chole bhature. The street snacks like dahi poori, papdi chaat, etc are good as well, but they lack a twist in taste, maybe if it could be a bit spicy, had some chaat masala then it'd taste even better. My pav bhaji tasted well, but next time I'd recommend adding some more chili to it, to up it another level. Similar with Dal Makhani and chole. The service is pretty slow but the staff is very nice. We had ordered one dish with no onion and no garlic and we found some onions in the dish so the staff was nice enough to even replace the bhature with chole instead of just chole. Next time I come I'd want to try their parathas with dal makhani."

"Fast pickup makes this a good stop when you're really hungry. I usually order via Bytes app. Everything here is delicious. Must try is podi idli. My fav is thatte idli sambhar."
"In a downtown, with a ramen or bubble tea shop on every block, it's nice to see an Indian inspired restaurant. I think if I went in with a more fast food mindset, I would have probably been a bit more satisfied with the meal. Sexy fries: The dish really didn't seem well thought out. The sweet potato fries were fine, but the paneer and sauce felt like it was just tossed on. Wouldn't recommend.Thali: we ordered with chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, and spinach paneer. I liked how there was different variety, but the flavors of the dishes fell a bit flat. I wished the naan was chewier instead of a pita texture.Haaka noods: If you think of a standard Chinese chow mein, you'll get a decent idea for it tastes. Samosa: The best dish we ate. The pastry was hot and crispy and curried potatoes were tasty. Mango lassi: comes in a bottle so not sure if it is made fresh. Tasted fine. All in all, they try to go for a modern "cool" vibe feel, but the dishes, aside from the samosa, fell flat."
"Delcious unlimited Thali's!!!!! My boyfriend and I had a an amazing time at Rajwadi Thali Chaat and Sweets. Since it's unlimited, you can literally get refills on anything! My favorite was their shahi panner, I love how creamy it was. I just ended up drinking it at the end haha With your unlimited Thali, it also comes with dessert! My boyfriend loved the mango ras!!!I highly recommend this place, not only was the food amazing. The staff was so friendly and very attentive. They came around bringing out refills of the thali's, roti's, samosas,... and more!Thank you so much for inviting me to come enjoy delcious Thali's. I had an amazing time"
"I rarely go to a restaurant twice within a few months as we are spoilt for choices in the bayarea. But I had a hankering for the black pepper chowmein, so we made our way back here. In addition to the chowmein I also wanted to try some eggplant dish and we were suggested to get the basil eggplant. So here is the rundown of the dishes we tried this time- Black pepper chowmein- 5/5- I came back here just for this dish. It's really good. Definitely get this!!!Basil eggplant-5/5- another epic dish. Definitely ranks high on the best eggplant dishes I ever had. Not spicy but very savory without any sweet notes. It came with tofu as well which was equally delectable.Veggie fried rice- 4/5- delicious but very oily. There was no need for so much oil in this dish. Hopefully they take this feedback and work on improving it.Organic chicken salad- 4/5- my younger one wanted this. It came with a bunch of greens topped with lots of crispy wonton skins, fried "chicken" pieces and some dressing on the side. It was surprisingly good as the elements worked together cohesively.Vegetarian wonton with chilli oil- 4/5- another solid dish, the wontons were topped with some peanut sauce. It was a tad bit sweet, though I don't prefer sweetness in my savory dishes this was great as well. It's a very cosy little mom and pop style restaurant. I highly recommend giving them a try. I can assure you, you won't miss meat."
"This was an excellent Thali meal with amazing value! The variety of curries was fantastic, offering a great mix of flavors and textures. The food was prepared quickly, and the online ordering process was super easy and convenient. The takeout packaging was flawless--everything was neatly packed and stayed hot. The staff was polite and welcoming, with everything ready to go in what appeared to be a very tidy interior. Definitely a spot worth returning to!"
"If you're looking for authentic Indian food this place is well worth the visit. There is a lot here worth unpacking and plenty of good options for food on the menu to enjoy."
"It is THE place for authentic Maharashtrian / Mumbai street food. Got their chilli cheese toast which the waiter recommended (over their grilled sandwich). Also loved their sabudana vada and kothimbir vadi - both were excellent. Plenty of other dishes I'd have loved to try! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Ambience is alright. All-gender, clean restrooms. Free parking in the lot outside."
"Came here for the ube waffle - tasty, made with real coconut & ube chunks, slightly sweeter than othersSuggestions: The packaging for the waffle could simply be a waxed coated paper bag instead of a box! It just made the waffle soggy within 5 minutes. I would come back anytime I'm craving a quick snack."
"Have you ever been in a space where you are looking for something, but you can't quite put your finger on it? I came here on a random Thursday evening when San Jose Block Party was taking place. A friend told me he was going to have a pop up show, and remembering this was a place that always seemed to have great beers on tap, I threw on my Moms That Beer shirt, mustered up some energy for positivity, and arrived to Good Karma around 7:15 pm. I was immediately indecisive when I saw the beers on tap. Too many good choices, and the the first beer you pick to drink will generally set the feel of my drinking pace. Who was I tonight: Was I feeling like something outside of my comfort zone, or an agreeable hazy? Seeing the sour selection and hearing the beer tender talk to the customers in front of me, I decided to start with a Blueberry sour. And it did not disappoint. The Lysn Band started warming up, and it was to my dismay that outside seating was pretty full. But, what I did not expect was the warmth of the welcoming I received from 3 friends eating dinner and drinking beer who allowed me to join in their table, but also conversation. And just like that, I had 3 new friends, and soon a 4th, and I quickly realized, Good Karma is not just a restaurant. Good Karma is a living community of energy. Bob, the owner, cultivates a friendly staff, from the chef to the beer tender, and it attracts the type of people you want to get to know over a new beer. So, I came out that night without knowing what I wanted in that moment. What I found: great beers, yummy food, and community. But, one thing that always makes me happy: live music. So if your routine could benefit from more music, every Sunday at 7 pm, catch a live jazz session with the Sunday Messengers Quartet until 9 pm. A weekly dose of Jazz always does a body good."
"Small vegetarian cafe with many snack, meal, and beverage options. Order at the counter and pay if you're getting food-to-go. Otherwise, the owner will keep an open tab for you where you sit-and-eat and then pay when you're done. When you're done eating and paying, then you can dump out your trash in the trash can right outside the cafe. The owner is nice and open to explaining many of the menu items since I wasn't sure what they were. So if you are unsure what something is, just ask :)Sev Puri || $5Comes with 7 little fried and hollowed puffs that are filled with a potatoes mixture and topped with yogurt, a red sauce, cilantro and spices. A great snack food to try! The red sauce is spicy in case you're sensitive to spicy.Roti Thali || $7.992 warm pieces of roti accompanied with rice, a samosa + spicy red sauce, green sauce, plain yogurt, red beans in gravy, mattar paneer, stewed potatoes with green beans, and a ball of cashew paste with walnut for dessert. Most of the little dishes are spicy, except for the red beans and samosa (without sauce). The mattar paneer (peas with cheese cubes in a yellow gravy) is delicious and my favorite out of the thali plate offerings. Mango Lassi || $2.50A small cup of mango juice thickened with a bit of yogurt. The version here didn't really seem like an actual mango lassi to me -- it's more of a watered down, juice-like version instead of a thick creamy yogurt drink. Still tasty though. The thali and sev puri were perfect to split between 2 people for a satisfactory lunch. If you're feeling hungry, you could probably down an entire thali plate by yourself. Overall nice place to come by if you want to try out Indian snacks and vegetarian foods."

Loved the food at special event today at Idly express. Khara baath was too good! Filter coffee is amazing as always. I was not a fan of rava idly. Not as great as the Thatte Idli. Shivangi baath (not shown in the pic) was just ok too. Rava kesari was yummy!! Overall super satisfying meal, got to taste a lil bit of everything. The service was great, they planned well to avoid super long lines by distributing tokens ahead of time. And I don't see any issues with the "thindi" concept - where folks just grab food and eat outside standing.

Very interesting restaurant where the dishes all have a twist on traditional Indian cuisine. They're pretty adventururous and seem to have good ideas, but not all of the dishes turn out well. The Tikka masala burrito was good, but we felt that it would've been better enjoyed as a traditional dish, with naan on the side. The tandoori fried chicken sandwich on the other hand was pretty good, but didn't get too much of the tandoori flavours and felt more like a traditional chicken sandwich. Though promising, I think they need some more time to refine their menu items so that they get to showcase delicious Indian cuisine in innovate forms!

We loved our food experience at Rajwadi Thali on the special occasion of Dussehra! The queue for Jalebi and Fafda was huge, which tells me how delicious and popular their snacks & sweets are. They have a beautiful decor and quick service. We tried their Unlimited Thali, which I totally recommend. The Dal Makhni, Khichdi, Kadhi, Dhokla, Aamras, and Shrikhand among other items served won me over.We also tasted Sev Puri Dahi Puri, which was refreshing and delicious! Perfect blend of chutneys, masala, and thick chilled curd. Will visit again for more tempting chaat items!Chole Bhature was heavy, crispy, and fullfilling. We specifically requested for just one Bhatura but you can have more in a plate. You can try the multiple options of fresh sweets they offer. It was really hard for me to decide what to eat More next time!Check out more pictures and full reel on my Instagram food page @veggie_central

"First time trying Tang's Asian Vegetarian place as I saw it on Yelp, and wanted to take my friend since she is a vegetarian. The service: everyone was super nice and kind. Parking: Spacious Food: All vegetarian dishes! We ordered the fried mushroom as our appetizer and it was delicious! The portions were huge so definitely shareable! I ordered the bánh canh, and when they brought it out something was off about it like the smell but I usually don't get vegetarian food so I'm not sure what it was. My friend ordered the thit kho. Everything was good until we got home and our stomachs were hurting. I'm not sure if it was our own individual meals.. I think so because I doubt it was the mushrooms. But because my stomach hurt the entire day / night I don't think I'll be back."
"Darn, guess I was a bit off. Still a popular place. But Korean owned. Heard the owner speak Japanese before. Came here for a quick dinner and was disappointed in the taste. Nabeyaki was salty and chicken wasnt great. Had two roles and both of the salmon and mango on top was cut like a novice who didnt know how to cut. Not sure if they were training people? Wasnt the usual waitresses either... it was an ajima (older aunt, maybe the female owner) and a hispanic lady. Got the teriyaki kids meal.. was ok. Less sauce would be preferable but chicken was drenched. Yikes... perhaps this was a one off..."
"OMFG DELISH! First experience with Ethiopian food and I was so pleasantly surprised - but also who am I kidding I wasn't expecting any less. We originally were going to get the Zuckerberg but I really wanted to try the lamb tib and my boyfriend wanted to try the chicken doro wat. We ended up ordering the original as a compromise. Amazing service from all the waitresses here. If you check in you get a whole veggie side. I forgot what it was called but it was a side mushroom dish. Super savory and cooked so well. Definitely love our combo. We came once the restaurant reopened for the evening so everything came out piping hot. It was such a huge portion for two people that you can for sure bring one more person to share everything. We left with leftovers for the next day. Will definitely be back!"
"With the propagation of hot pot restaurants in the Eastbay Zhangliang Malatang is the newest one. Located on Fallon Road in Dublin it's just one of two in that retail center. ZLM is a pick your ingredients and pay by weight. The ingredient choices are plentiful stacked orderly. There are about 5 broths to choose from. Just a normal size bowl after weighing comes out to be average $20 to $25 which would almost get you AYCE at the other hot pot restaurants in the area. We've been to ZLM a couple times and they still have some improvements to their service to be made. ie. They close in the afternoon but because they wanted to leave 40 min early they asked if I could take out. I refused and they relented. (Minus Star) Parking is hard in the busy center at peak hours."
"It's been a while since I've been here and was looking forward to having Thai food. Was going to order the Emerald noodles, and then noticed the special menu which included an appetizer combo and fried chicken pad Thai. I should've checked photos, but instead asked the server what she recommended and she let me know that the fried chicken pad Thai was very popular. I was thinking more actual fried chicken or something like Korean fried chicken, instead, what I received was a huge Panko cutlet aka chicken Katsu. Unfortunately, I'm not the biggest chicken Katsu fan and didn't expect it at a Thai restaurant. I did try a couple pieces with the yummy peanut sauce, but it was still katsu. Ended up putting it to the side and took it home to the Hubbs. The pad Thai noodles were on the sweeter side, light on the bean sprouts - which I like and had lots of tofu. The red curry tofu & veggies was good and mildly spiced, however my sister from a different mother thought it was spicy. The appetizer combo came with two coconut shrimp, two veggie eggrolls, two Gyoza, two cream cheese wontons, and what tasted like two lumpia Shanghai. The appys weren't exactly Thai. They were served with a sweet chili sauce, a coconut mayo sauce, and a peanut sauce. What I ordered was more Thai fusion than actual Thai food, still good, but not what I was expecting."
"Unexpectedly surprised by this spot, had been here in the past when they first opened up and just thought of it as ok. BUT noowww though, yall better not walk and run that azz to your nearest Curry Up Now! The revamped menu from Chef Bikram is hittin with all the spices and flavors and I can guarantee there's something for everyone. Some heavy hitters for me were the:- Spicy fried chicken (that cilantro chutney cooked with them onions really made that sandwich)- Indian flatbread (never had something like this before, pleasantly surprised and would def order again)HOT TIP: this location is one that also has a bar, I had an early lunch there so I didn't wanna TU that early but that won't stop me next time LOLLService was great with that staff being very helpful in explaining all the dishes to me. Vibes def were there, I could see that being a nice spot to hit up after work with your coworkers."
"Impeccable Vegan/Vegetarian Sushi - Worth the Wait!We recently dined at Oh Baby Sushi and while the initial service was a bit slow (our drinks took a while to arrive), the incredible food completely made up for it. As vegetarians, we were thrilled with the menu options and ultimately ordered the mango asparagus roll, spicy veggie rolls, cucumber crunch roll, and the jalapeno bomb (with tofu). Each roll was a masterpiece. The flavors were vibrant, the textures were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was stunning. We're avid fans of vegan and vegetarian sushi and have explored many restaurants throughout the Bay Area. Without a doubt, Oh Baby Sushi ranks among the absolute best. We can't wait to return and savor their delicious creations again soon."
"I've only ordered takeout, but their thalis are such an excellent value! Satisfying variety of mostly bean- or lentil-based dishes and the spice level is not too hot. My order is usually prepared fast and I appreciate that the chaas is included, love the cumin.I'm forever screening restaurant health inspector scores with Santa Clara County's "SCCDineOut" app and I appreciate that this restaurant maintains a high score (92/100 as of April 2024)."
"Good eats if craving Korean food. Didn't want to spend too much. Surprised to see gluten- free meat option on the menu as most often meats are marinated in soy sauce. Extra wait 10 min for braised beef gluten free.Everything is fresh and the ban chan choices were plentiful to choose from.Only thing missing is japchae! Maybe it is in rotation."
"Wonderful service, pho was really clear (little fat, amazing taste). Would definitely come again!!!"
"Was super nice service They explained us everything and suggested some famous dishes! Was super nice hot and spicy but very flavorful A lot of people and nice ambiance"
"Loved the private parking lot and outside patio seating decor. The place is self service so you go inside and place your order. They call out your name when its ready and u come back and pick it up and pick up disposable cutlery water napkin etc and go back to your choice of seating.Prompt service and fresh preparations of chaats, paranthas, bhature really impressed me :)In $67, we got:- chole bhature 5/5 - the bhatura was huge and so fresh and piping hot. Super bhatura!! The chole were okay too. I liked the side pickle and onion cucumber that comes with it- pav bhaji 4/5- spicy and huge portion size..this comes with 3 buns instead of the usual 2 and they are drooling with butter- aloo paneer mix parantha 4/5 - again huge portion and freshly prepared. I wish it had some green chillis to add that extra kick. Nonetheless, it was still fresh and good. It comes with plain yogurt.- dahi sev puri 3/5- a little soggy by the time it reached us. I wished they called us separately first and just gave us this to eat while they cooked rest of the food- ginger tea 3/5- average and made from beforeIts not cheap so im not sure why they are using disposable cutlery and plates cups and self service."
"We got pav bhaji, vada pav, samosa pav, palak paneer and garlic naans on our recent visit. Happy to report that they have steel utensils now. Pav bhaji was amazing. The bhaji was not too spicy, the combination with the buttered pav was heavenly. Loved it! I think it's easily one of the better if not best pav bhaji in town. Rest of the items were super disappointing though. The potato in the vada pav felt heavy and underflavored, the green chutney fell flat. The paneer in palak paneer was hard, the butter naans were brittle. The samosa was delicious but the combination with the pav felt odd and forced."
"We came around 1:45pm on a Tuesday, and the place was empty so we didn't have to wait in line or anything. Service was good. Ambiance is fine. Parking might or might not be difficult to find depending on the day and time you come. For the food, I tried the Crispy Oyster Mushroom and the Shaken Beef. They were both pretty good. I don't like mushroom, but I kept eating their crispy oyster mushroom. It really doesn't taste like mushroom. Overall, pretty good. I will probably come here again."
"I have been going back to the restaurant in the past few months and I want to update my review . The authentic idlis and vadas are back . Their rava upma is extremely good as well . I will 100% recommend to someone who misses authentic Tamil style breakfast items. Reminds me of home Not sure what changed in the past few months but definitely wanted to give KUDOS!!!"
"We had a quick lunch at the Sumac after work, food was very well seasoned and tasted great. Portion sizes were generous. The menu is Middle East inspired which caters to vegetarians and meat eaters. Service is quick and super friendly. Restaurant was clean. All the food items are priced decently. Ambiance is nothing to write home about, this a restaurant best for take outs and application based food deliveries. Overall I am happy with my experience at Sumac."
"We are becoming frequent diners at Hajis and they are consistently excellent. The service is always friendly. Trust the staff recommendations and pairings. That said, here are somore things we have tried:Daal Makhni - it is a blend of three types of Lentils and they have Vegetarian and Vegan options. One of the wife's new favorites. Rich, creamy and delicious. Chicken or Shahi Goat Qorma - both are very good. My son got the chicken and I got the goat. The sauce is smooth and complex. A subtle spice profile that warms up in the mouth and has a bit of a kick. The dark green chutney makes it even warmer. The chicken is boneless. The goat is bone-in so you have some additional work there but a little bone adds to the flavor. We added the rice in to make sure we got every drop of the sauce. Pair it with the garlic Naan. The wife tried the Peshawari Chapel Kabab and was very happy with it. She explains it as a hamburger with extra spices. Ground beef, spices, served as a patty with a small salad. This expands on her usual Chicken Tikka Masaala entree. I am still partial to the Nihari (beef stew) but have also enjoyed the Chicken Biryani. It's all very good. Order with a cup of Chai or a Lassi. One note, don't come here expecting your food fast. Everything is done per order. This lets you customize your meal so you can get exactly what you want. It is absolutely worth the wait.Set aside some time and go with a friend. Sit, enjoy the tea and experience a great meal at Hajis."
"We've been here a bunch of times and it is now our favorite vegan Vietnamese spot. The first time we came, I could not believe it was vegan. The food is just so scrumptious and satisfying, and their prices aren't that bad either. Some of our favorite dishes are the Salted "Fish" Fried Rice, Soft Chow Mein, and "Chicken" & Mushroom Fried Rice. And the portions are huge! 2 people can easily share one dish. They have some really delicious tea drinks too.Always an enjoyable experience when we come here; service is excellent, all staff wear smiles, are so welcoming and friendly. Interior is spacious and comfortable, neat and clean. We've never been disappointed. Highly recommend."
"My friend and I came to this place during lunch on a weekday. The restaurant was empty, maybe about two tables. Two staffs. Upon walking in, I think you just self sit, ask for menu, then order at the counter. Their menu seems very Indo-Chinese with a hint of Szechwan spices. So if you love spicy, I would definitely try this place! My friend and I ordered: Egg Lollipop, Mumbai Egg Bhurji, egg butter masala. Everything was very delicious. The egg lollipop is spicy but is manageable. I really love the egg butter masala! Eggs do get filling in your belly so we did had left overs at the end. The staffs were very nice, parking is a little small. The restaurant is a good size and very clean. Overall, I highly recommend this place, I would definitely come back and try the rest of their menu."
"The food is good. The prices are great. ( 2 unlimited Thalis for $26)Service is fast and friendly.First things first, the food. The thali came with Bhindi Kurkure, Fry, Chole, Saag, Dal, Sambar, Rasam, Chutney, Lemon rice, Yogurt, and the star of the show 2 hot, freshly made pooris. The food is on the tart side and I really loved it. It's just very simple vegetarian food. Of course, the simplicity didn't stop me from pigging out.I was a bit taken aback when the total came out to $26 for the two thalis and they didn't even give me a chance to tip them. This makes it the most reasonably priced place. The only thing negative about the place is that it needs a deep cleaning. They got the tough part, the food, right... a deep cleaning of the place will fix everything wrong( ...and that's very little) with the place."
"I used to frequent this place at their previous location before the fire accident and would always order the dal baati. It was my first time visiting at their new location and I eagerly looked for the dal baati but was told they don't serve it anymore. So we decided on the Bhel thali and a few orders of chana batura along with samosa chaat.Across the board the dishes were delicious. Not the best I ever had category but very decent. I personally got the Bhel thali, the Bhel was a tantalizing flavor mix and the seasonal pomegranates they put on top lent a nice tart kick. The thali also came with dal, two curries, two roties, rice and pappad. The dal was light and tasty. The curries were also not overpowered by excessive spices. I can definitely see myself coming back again."
"This is notes of the most underated Indian food place in Fremont. They have great tasting food, unlimited sambhar, chutney, service is fast and accurate. Chhola bhaturey is the highlight."
"Just hits all the right spots, uff. I keep coming back and have never had a less than 10/10 experience!!!"
