"Loved it! Had to be rolled down the mountain because I over ate. They were super accommodating because of the cyber attack and adjusting the number for my reservation. Drinks were on beyond on par. Ordered the border which was the bartender monthly special... had two.Went back again for the second time and tried other dishes, still great!Lucky both times sitting in the green room."
"Sizzling Lunch is conveniently located near our home, and I had often heard about its popularity. However, I hesitated to visit, assuming the vegetarian options would be limited--especially since their website only listed one. But I'm glad we finally gave it a try because I couldn't have been more wrong! The food was flavorful, and there were several vegetarian options to choose from. I started with the Cheese Corn, a skillet of sweet corn topped with a generous amount of melted cheese. It was rich and slightly sweet, but a dash of salt and pepper balanced the flavors nicely.Next, I tried the Potato Croquette with Curry Sauce, served on a sizzling plate with croquettes, rice, and vegetables. The curry was wonderfully spiced and truly elevated the dish. Adding some of their signature sauces took it to the next level. We also ordered the Cucumber Salad, which was refreshing and came with a tangy plum sauce (instead of the usual fish sauce). Other vegetarian items on the menu included Tofu with Curry and Tofu Pepper Rice, both of which I plan to try next time. One thing worth noting is that their website isn't up-to-date, as it doesn't reflect the variety of vegetarian dishes available. The service was exceptional. The staff patiently answered all my questions, walked us through the menu, and ensured we had a great first visit. With delicious food and such attentive service, we'll definitely be returning to Sizzling Lunch!"

"Wonderful food and service! We sat outside , although it was a cloudy day. Their heat lamps were very hot. So much so, we had to ask to turn them down. The focaccia bread served at the beginning of our meal was soft and fresh! We are big fans of squid ink pasta and their rendition was very good. We appreciate how attentive the staff was. We will definitely be back!"
"Yes! Food was great, service awesome and can't wait to go back. I had a chicken wrap and fries. Rest of my group had lamb wrap and chicken and we all loved it."
"This place is amazing! The hostess, Delaney, is what made our night. I'm currently disabled and she went out of her way to accommodate my needs from the very beginning all the way until the end of our dinner. I had to use the restroom and she personally walked me all the way back to the restroom and held the door for me! The food was incredible, our server was extremely attentive, and the food came out fast. I'll definitely come back. Thanks Delaney!"
"Good food the best service would come back again the waiters checked on us at least 20 times making sure everything was right the food wow we ordered the short ribs they were so big we felt like cavemen we did have leftovers they did pack them for us and they wrap the bone for our dogs she wasn't in heaven when we gave it to her at home"
"Almost as good as House of Prime Rib! I was able to make reservations with no issues and no wait. The restaurant is located in downtown San Mateo. Parking can be difficult depending on timing of the evening. I think it was the Owner that constantly checked on us during dinner. He was very friendly. It was my birthday and they offered a complimentary tiramisu. My husband and I enjoyed the food. The only difference between this place and HOPR is the entertainment from servers mixing salad and etc.Overall I will definitely come back!"
"Massimo's is a Fremont classic. It's Fremont style fine dining and that's all good, especially for a family celebration. We recently celebrated my mom's 79th birthday with our group of 8 and it was perfect. Reservations are easy to make and modify on open table, which I had to multiple times that day due to changes in plans. Since my mom previously signed up for the birthday club, we used a voucher for a free entree (or take $25 off). Super easy and generous. My mom loved the halibut special and she's picky. The risotto with scallops and sausage is flavorful and rich. It's a must try. The eggplant parmigiana was good and not overly breaded. Cocktails were reasonably priced.I am a Fremont local and appreciate these well established spots. It's a cozy elevated restaurant (mood lighting and linen table cloths), but not stuffy. The bar area is somewhat casual. I have been here in then past for my own birthday dinner, mom's past birthdays, and a casual catch up with a girlfriend dinner. This may just be our go to for family birthdays!"
"$25 for the Chef's Appetizer special, which was seared ahi tuna on a bed of soba noodles. It came with shrimp-like crackers but maybe they're just crispy rice crackers. Loved all the textures in this dish. It wasn't too heavy and was perfect as an entree for one or as an appetizer to share. They currently have a few specials for $31 in celebration of their 31st anniversary, which included surf and turf (shrimp and steak with scalloped potatoes and veggies). Most of my party ordered this and all seemed very pleased. Service was friendly and took the time to take pictures of our big group at different angles. I went at night and faced the patio with the water but it was dark so there wasn't much to look at. It's a shame they no longer serve lunch to get the daytime view...I may need to come back when the days are longer."
"Full disclosure: we took advantage of their free brunch promo today only. And we came for brunch last weekend because we had a gift certificate, and before that it was probably a few years between visits. But we really need to come more often. At our previous visit we had the Sixteen Mile Deviled Eggs to start and each egg had a different fun little protein topping. I loved the one with steak and the smoked salmon. Presentation was lovely.Today we ordered the Swedish pancake starter. There was a berry syrup drizzle which was not my kind of thing, too candy-like, but my husband liked it. The lingonberry butter was very nice.My husband got their Kobe Loco Moco both visits because it was so delicious. The Kobe patty was cooked perfectly. The gravy was amazing; I kept trying to figure out what made it so good--maybe a French onion kind of flavor? So deeply beefy with notes of caramelized onion. Last visit I got Sixteen Benedict, because filet mignon is always a good choice, which was good in theory. I thought the sauce was too thick but the flavor was good. The little bit of sprouts on top helped balance the richness but I would've enjoyed more sprouts or greens to balance. The side dish was tater tots and they were very crispy. Today I had Stable Steak & Eggs because I love steak. The 6 oz ribeye was perfectly char grilled. I could've used some seasoning. Eggs were good. Tater tots were consistently crispy and tasty. Both times, I took home most of my tots and my daughter immediately devoured them.My husband had to take home half of his loco moco each time because it was a huge quantity. And he actually ate the leftovers, which is a big deal because he usually forgets about his restaurant leftovers and doesn't eat them.To summarize, the star is definitely Kobe Loco Moco. Everything else is good, but I can't get that Loco Moco out of my head."
"The service was slow slow slow (and the restaurant didn't even have 10 people seated) The cornbread was DELICIOUS The fries were DELICIOUS The tacos were Delicious The sale was old and we sent it back The drinks the good The Beat thing of all was the rib eye flatbread pizza Servers were nice but no clue why the food took forever to come out We were there during happy hour the day before Thanksgiving and as I stayed there were not even 10 people in the restaurant ; including the 3 in my party It's a beautiful restaurant, great vibe, live DJI'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area 5 stars for the bartender 4 for our server 4 for the food"

My husband and I have been to The Mountain House a few times over the years but this was our first time having the prefix menu. We had cocktails to start with and we were able to order the whipped onion dip from the bar menu, which is to die for. There were three courses and about six items to choose from each course. My husband had the bacon wrapped stuffed quail for the first course, then the striped Seabass, which was a special. And for dessert, he had the flourless chocolate cake. I had the yellowtail carpaccio for my first course. Then the pork tenderloin and the cheeseboard for dessert. We did the drink pairing as well. We had various wines with each of our courses, except the flourless chocolate cake came with scotch, and the cheeseboard came with a fortified wine. All of our dishes were absolutely incredible! And the service was amazing! There were fireplaces lit throughout the restaurant, which made it feel very cozy. If you do not want to do the prefix menu, you can sit in the bar area and order from the bar menu. Can't wait to come back :)

Love coming here for easy ordering, fast service and good food. I always get the garlic beef pepper rice with extra corn. Sauces are a must when adding flavor, but the consistency isn't as thick as the ones offered at Pepper Lunch so I always have to add extra. Cucumber appetizer was a good palette cleanser. Overall recommend this location.

I want to give this place 5 stars for the service, and am giving them 2 instead of 1 for being generally good and a safe place to eat, but I am not sure WHAT in the world occurred in the kitchen yesterday evening. It was a very quiet weekday evening at Spasso with maybe only two other parties at the entire restaurant. I usually order a chicken parmesan or the chicken bolognese, but decided to give the pancetta wrapped chicken a try! As soon as it came out and we began to dig into our food, I noticed how difficult it was to cut into the chicken... erm... ... because it was completely raw. There was no doubt about it as it wasn't even pink only in a thick section - it was served more like a rare steak would. I laughed and sent it back. But in all seriousness I hope they have a serious conversation with the cooks. Completely unacceptable.

Do yourself a favor and take someone you care about to this restaurant. The atmosphere was great, Classic Steakhouse vibes with an old Timey Character. Our Server, a tall gentleman with an accent was very attentive, gave a quick check in after dropping off our food to make sure everything was right. (A forgotten technique of great service imho) Now for the food. The 18oz Rib Eye was a perfect medium rare, delicious! The Lobster Risotto was perfectly cooked, unctuous yet balanced between the sweetness of the lobster and the rich risotto flavors. For dessert we shared a chocolate crusted cheesecake with a fresh berries and a strawberry compote drizzle. In conclusion everything was perfect right down to the ratio of grenadine to soda in my fiancé's Shirley Temple. I will most definitely be coming back!

The sister restaurant of Broadway Prime, as I believe the owners are brothers. I came here to celebrate a birthday for a family member and we got their prime rib. I got the San Mateo Prime Cut prime rib which came with salad, choice of a baked potato or mashed potatoes, choice of spinach or corn. These are the standard options, but I know they have more side options. The prime rib was well aged, but the cuts were a little stingy. The San Mateo Prime Cut looked similar to the Avenue Cut. There is also no 2nd cut available if you finished your 1st San Mateo Prime Cut. The steak knives here were also very dull and could use a sharpening or replacement. If I recalled correctly, they didn't leave the horseradish on the table and the waiter serves it and takes off with it, which was off. The service here was ok, but the waitstaff will simply take orders and drop off the food. No engagement with customers or checking up on the tables. I will stick with Broadway Prime in the future.

"We had a party of 16 and had a very enjoyable dinner. Last minute we decide to try and find a restaurant in Livermore that would accommodate the size of our group. Luckily we found Kobe and were able to make reservations. The seating is interesting. The "booth" type chairs are high and easily moveable. When grouped together, it makes the area pretty private., The server and bussers were attentive and pleasant. They have an extensive menu and the pricing seemed reasonable. Several people in the groups had sushi and said it was good. The Shrimp Tempura was perfect, very tasty. I had the Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen Soup and loved it. The broth had a good kick of spicy but not overpowering. It was a large portion and I ended up taking half of it to go. My brother ordered the Sautéed Garlic Beef Udon, thinking it was a soup, as did I, since I almost ordered the same. It was actually a noodle dish which he said was good. I like the way the Bento Box is ordered. You select from various categories, such as starter, rolls, katsu, teriyaki, etc. You make 3 selections and price varies on the item. Depending on selection, I felt it was a little overpriced for Bento Box portions but several in the group said the food was delicious so sounds probably worth it. It was the perfect spot for a large family dinner and we are happy we found it. We all agreed we will be back."
"We came here for their Fri/Sat/Sun after 5pm prime rib $39. It was alright. It wasn't anything fancy. For +$3.50, you can get either a salad or soup of the day. Today was clam chowder. As for the sides, you can choose between creamed spinach or cooked vegetables, either a baked potato or garlic mash potatoes. I asked for gravy on the mash potatoes but gravy was not available. My prime rib came with a bone but my friend's didn't. Both were thick and didn't leave us hungry. As for the meat, it got tedious to eat toward the end as it was a lot food. My guess is around 16oz. The quality was OK. It is not herb crusted nor aged that long. They should have dry aged it a bit more for the enzymes to develop a more complex flavor. As for the dining experience, no wait on a Friday night, unlike HOPR or Westlake Joe's. Vallemar Station puts glass on top of table clothes with paper napkins, yes, that kind of vibe. The bartender lady must be at least 70 years old. The waitstaff is young and energetic. There's a huge TV at the bar and also the dining room. It reminded me of how Val's in Daly City used to be, but a notch lower. Free bread. Service was excellent."
"The food is very good and there is a great array of choices! Fun to eat there and fun to eat at home! Very good hamburgers. The people are very friendly and cater to your needs. Haven't had anything I didn't like!! Nice drive and surroundings."
"Came here to celebrate my husband birthday.First time here.Definitely a hidden gem.100% recommend.Made reservations but felt like we didn't need to since it wasn't busy. The customer service was great, our server was really nice. The food was really good. Everyone enjoyed their food. Great big portion. I would definitely be back."
"We love going to this location particularly. It has a more chill vibe than the Cupertino location and the service seems more attentive. Also, we went one time close to closing and the server was very gracious and friendly and we did not get the feeling she was rushing us to order or finish quickly. More tables came in closer to closing that night and she gave them the same welcome in she gave us. The food is consistent and comparable to other locations if not better :)"
"We had our 11 yo daughter's birthday party there and it was absolutely perfect for them!!! 9 friends sat around a u-shaped Hibachi while the chef kept them entertained with antics. The food was yummy, but what really made it for me was the wonderful Maria, who could not have been nicer as we planned and emailed back and forth. She's a true gem and I hope management will keep her!!!"
"One of the few spots in Evergreen that are open late and have DELICIOUS Vietnamese food. Plenty of parking and there's a good liquor store right next to them too! I really enjoy C2 on their menu. C2- Grilled Pork, Grilled Shrimp, Fried Egg 9/10 Despite it not being groundbreaking food, they deliver on simple flavors really well. The pork and shrimp are so good and for a late night meal, I struggle to do better in the vicinity, so I am eating Aota high for this meal, bias is real. They may not be perfect (phone system was broken one time and doordash link was broken too), but the staff are kind and helpful. FYI- their English is a bit limited so please be patient. Inside decor is rather nice and new!"
"Valentine's Day at Arya Steakhouse was an unforgettable experience! My date and I had a 7:30 PM reservation, and even though we were five minutes late, we were seated immediately--off to a great start. The atmosphere was perfect for the occasion, with romantic low lighting, Valentine's-themed trinkets on the table, and a lovely rose for the table, which I really appreciated. Every detail made the night feel special, and it was clear that Arya went above and beyond. The four-course meal was nothing short of amazing. We kicked things off with drinks--I had the strawberry thyme mocktail, which was refreshing and well-balanced, while my partner's drink, made with egg whites and served in a compote, was strong yet delicious. He even ordered a second one because it was that good. Our appetizers were a delightful mix of flavors. The sweet and spicy shrimp was perfectly chewy, and the beet hummus with pita bread was a unique and tasty pairing. There were two other small bites, but the shrimp and hummus stole the show. The second course was a simple yet perfectly executed salad with just the right amount of balsamic vinegar and feta cheese. Sometimes simplicity wins, and this salad was proof of that. For the entrées, I had the NY steak cooked medium rare with an upgraded lobster tail. The steak was juicy, and the lobster had a wonderful smoky flavor that both my partner and I loved. Our server, Jennifer, made the experience even better by melting butter over the steak tableside--chef's kiss. My partner opted for the seafood paella with an aged ribeye upgrade, and both were equally impressive. The ribeye was juicy perfection, and Jennifer made sure both our steaks got that buttery finishing touch. We also ordered truffle fries, but we barely touched them because we were so full. Still, they were well-seasoned and tempting.Dessert was a shared plate, thankfully, because we were stuffed. It featured baklava with ice cream, a beautifully toasted meringue, and a chocolate cake with a hardened chocolate layer--each bite was heavenly.A special shoutout to Jennifer, who was funny, attentive, and clear about everything (even letting us know that tip was already included). She really elevated our dining experience--thank you, Jennifer!Arya Steakhouse delivered an incredible Valentine's dinner, and I'll definitely be back for more. Everything about this place went above and beyond!"
"My family has been coming to Broadway Prime for over 20 years and it's our go-to prime rib house. My husband and I decided to dine here for Valentine's Day weekend and although we didn't have any reservations, they were able to seat us within 10 minutes. The food is always solid. The salad is fresh and delicious. I love their garlic mash potatoes and creamed spinach. My family usually get the baked potato with the works. We also always get the prime rib in the largest size, English style so it's already cut up for us. We also ask for a side of horseradish to accompany the meal. Everything is delicious and usually we need a to-go box for leftovers. Usually the service is on point, but because this weekend was super busy, it took a while to get some items and at times we had to ask for it twice. Still I would recommend dining here if you're craving for a hearty meal."
"After doing deep search on where to take my wife on her birthday, decided on this restaurant based on word of mouth and reviews posted. When we decided it's going to be Half moon Bay and I had posed two choices for my wife to choose from. We picked Miramar only for its exquisite beach view and its patio dining. It didn't disappoint us to be honest. We got seated facing the beach outside the patio. They don't take reservations but it's first come first serve. Service was bit slow and it took longer than usual. We got served sourdough bread with butter as complimentary starter for the table, our order for the day was Calamari fried with side of fries. Calamari was not crispy enough and the waitress diligently got us replaced with new set of crispy calamari, but still we felt it was not crispy enough with the batter being too soft. Average dish I must. Condiments were good. Next the side of fries was oily with less salt. I ordered planters punch cocktail and it was truly the best drink I have ever had for such a longer time. So refreshing and the punch of Caribbean flavour added with rum and pineapple, orange were top notch. Definitely recommend this drink. Next up was our main course, Mexican wild shrimp carbonara pasta, tasted amazing and the sauce was so creamy and delicious. Shrimp was cooked to perfection, served with garlic bread. Not to forget, since it was wifey's birthday, ice cream cake was offered on the house by the waitress. It was a pleasant surprise. Overall an average outing at Miramar. If you're looking for ambiance , this place is must visit especially if you're seated in the outside patio area. Food and service are average. I would still look to explore other options in and around Half Moon Bay Area. Overall a decent place , but pricey on certain dishes. If you're okay to spend around 75$-100$ for 2 people, then you can come and visit. Birthday well spent with wifey and will comeback only for views and their cocktails."

"Came here for NYE dinner with a friend. We both ordered the prime rib. I let the waitress know that I also wanted to order something to-go, but that I would tell her later in the evening. She insisted I tell her now and she'd take care of it, and so I did. We were quickly served bread, and our food followed shortly after. The bread comes with a side of butter and balsamic+oil. The prime rib and the accompanying side dishes were perfectly cooked. The prime rib paired with the au jus was *chef's kiss*. For dessert, I ordered the famous mud pie, while my friend ordered the crème brûlée. The mud pie was okay. I was disappointed there wasn't a thicker crust. It was essentially a large plate of ice cream with whipped cream and fudge. The creme brûlée was also okay. It was made with white chocolate and would've been more well-balanced if it came with more fruit. Now here is the kicker. We get the bill and notice the to-go order was not on it. I tell our waitress and she goes to get it fixed. Well, it turns out she completely forgot to place the order and by then, the kitchen had already closed down. This is why I initially said i would personally let her know about my to-go item later, but she insisted I tell her at the beginning. Aside from a simple apology, there was no other attempt at service recovery. That food was meant to be a NYE meal for someone who now had to ring in the new year on an empty stomach. Not to mention, by that hour, it was impossible for me to find an appropriate alternative elsewhere. The food is good, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. I will not be coming back a second time."
"Great service. Great food. Meat lovers rejoice. This is paradise. Skip the salad bar. You'll need all the space in your stomach for the infinite meat servings you'll devour. Servers continuously bring large selections of perfectly cooked (medium rare for me) all-you-can-eat meat sliced at your table. The only drawback is the weight you'll gain."
"Came here for a birthday. Ordered their 8oz Filet, 18oz Rib-Eye, mashed potatoes, and broccolini. The whole meal was great. The steaks had a lot of flavor, and they for sure were dry aged. We got a chocolate soufflé for desert, which was also very good. And then they gave a complementary cotton candy. Overall the food was excellent. Service was good and fair. The wait time everyone else speaks of in their reviews were right. It does take a hour to get your food. If you're willing to wait the time for them to cook it, it's well worth the wait. Will be coming back again."
"I really enjoy this food because of the atmosphere and delicious food.I've been here quite a few times for birthday dinners, date nights and when friends are visiting from out of town. They have a great selection on the menus.Great to share family style/Tapas. You get more bang for the buck and the ability to try more of the menu. The drinks are delicious as well.Sometimes it can be quite busy so I would recommend making a reservation."
"This place has such a lovely atmosphere! It was so wonderful to celebrate a friend. We had a reservation for a group and were led to their lovely backroom. They also had live music but it wasn't too loud but created a classy atmosphere. Good place for conversations!I had the filet mignon medium rare which was cooked really well. So tender and buttery. I'm so happy the house potatoes that day were scalloped- my favorite!! The peas on the side was quite delicious too. Service was kind and attentive. But the wait for steak was like an hour. I understand we were a group, but steak came like at least an hour later after we ordered, like at 845. I was quite starving. But the bread was good.I wish there was a check-in from the staff on why the food was too late or if we were doing something 'wrong' - like are you waiting for us to finish the caesar salad that no one wanted to finish. I know it's etiquette but I wouldn't want the steak to wait just because the salad's still on the table."
"Uniqueness: Japanese twist on some of the dishes here!Wait Time: [x][x][x][ ][ ]Food Quality: [x][x][x][x][x]Service: [x][x][x][x][x]Setting: [x][x][x][x][x] Cost: [x][x][x][x][x]Recommendation? Although wait time was not good due to 20 people ordering steak at the same time, service was impeccable and quality was top notch. Can't go wrong with a filet mignon here and aim to have your meat slightly less cooked than expected to get your meat quality what you expect.Excellent service here at this beautiful restaurant in Downtown San Jose. I've seen this place so many times but have never gotten a chance to try it until today. Interior was fancy and service here is perfection as they are always on point to make sure your meal is perfect. We went here for a work outing with 20 people all ordering steaks at the same time. Wait was terrible to be honest at 1 hour for it to come out but what do you expect when 20 people simultaneously order steaks at lunch. Once the food did come out though, the food was impeccable and I thought it was a great filet mignon. Drinks were also good too and I know for a formal place to go to in San Jose, I'll consider having The Grill as one of my go-to options from here on out."
"Service was attentive and top notched. Our waters were always full. When my pregnancy was made known, I was greatly impressed by the thoughtfulness of our servers. While my table were toasting with their wines, it wasn't left out and given a glass of some sparkling pineapple juice. Our server was patient and explained the menu and made wonderful recommendations.Food was phenomenal and presentation was stunning. My table had ordered one of each of their desserts and no crumbs were left behind"
