"I went here for Valentine's day. I highly recommend the spring garlic pappardelle pasta!! I never knew spring garlic could have so much flavor and complement the pasta and the tender wagyu meat. The pizza was amazing as well, but I didn't enjoy the Funghi pizza as much. The clash of flavours was overwhelming. I opted for a lighter dessert option after indulging in carbs, as the desserts at this establishment are exceptional. The gelato and sorbet will definitely help with that, and it is delicious! Great spot for date night!"
"I was in the area and came across this restaurant while searching for "pasta"I'm so glad this place was recommended because the spaghetti and meatballs was delicious! Service was friendly and super quick. The place, the food, the ambiance, it all felt authentic Italian.I will for sure be back and try other menu items and the pizza as well."

"Small 40 Special Chicken pizza. Last nights dinner. Fremont Mission Pizza and Pubs 40 Chicken Special. Ranch sauce, grilled chicken, spinach, bacon and chopped red onion and CHEDDAR. Super crunch to the crust. Unbelievably good. Had to wait an over hour though. Told by other neighbors its best to call ahead to order on weekends. Definitely worth the wait. I removed one star for having to wait 85 minutes for our pizza, which is three times the normal wait. If I didnt love this place so much, that would definitely be a deal breaker for me. What can be done to improve the wait times???"
"Since the 1990s, I have been visiting Giovanni's Pizzeria; it has become a pillar of my life ever since. Simply precisely thin, crispy edges. If you wish something substantial and flavorful, you really should try the Sicilian deep dish. Every mouthful transports me to my early years; the constancy in quality over the decades is amazing. The personnel is friendly always, and the surroundings are pleasant. Giovanni never lets down a fast lunch or a laid-back dinner. This is a real jewel that has endured over years. Strongly recommend."
"I had dinner here with a couple of friends and it was my first time. We ordered the San Daniele pizza, paccheri, and the spaghetti di mare. The pasta dishes we ordered were perfectly al dente. The paccheri was a bit salty. The San Daniele pizza was cooked perfectly and was well balanced. The service here was friendly and attentive. The interior has a sophisticated feel with the slightly dim lighting."
"We attended a friend's birthday party here tonight with about seven other families and I was really surprised at how fantastic it was. They reserved a large area of the restaurant just for our group and set the pizzas and salads out buffet style on the bar area for us to self-serve. The kids enjoyed the arcade area while the adults got to chat. It was our first time at Zorba's and the pizza and wings were really delicious. The party platter of wings was humongous and there was a ton of pizza leftover. They also let the host bring in their own ice cream cake. I would have never thought of this for a kids birthday location (kid was turning 11) but after tonight I would definitely recommend it."
"I am updating this review to a 3 due to the SLR (Service Level Recovery) of the owner. He reached out to me, we discussed the issues, and then he provided me a refund.I still will never eat here again, but the spouse did enjoy his pepperoni pizza."
"A welcoming place amidst office complex, sjc airport, 101 and Kaizer! Love the free parking around it and welcoming outdoor and indoor seating. As you enter, you are greeted by friendly faces! You can make a reservation at "open table" if you plan to be there between peak hours. In $55 (before tip), we got:- your choice of 2 topping pizza - 4/5 - we got jalapeño, mushroom, olives. Bell peppers. They charged $1 for each extra topping. The pizza was loaded with veggies on a thin but tender crust.- veggie primavera pasta - 5/5 - we swapped the sauce from creamy white to vodka sauce for an extra charge and it was totally worth it. Bomb pasta and heavy/ huge portion size. Good to share!- garlic bread with cheese - 4/5 - huge portion and good quality cheese. I wish they added some herbs/ etc too on it to add a kick- complimentary sour dough rolls 5/5 are served on request. Loved it! - garden green salad - 4/5 - side plate of salad with greens, carrots, a big tomato slice and vinegar drenched onions. Pairs well with the sour dough rolls.Service is impeccable :) and it's a pleasure visiting them! #supportlocal"
"LOVEI went here for a memorial celebration of a lovely man. This was his favorite restaurant and I can see why. The food was excellent, as was the service. The buffet luncheon was wonderful. I liked the chicken, loved the potatoes and perfectly cooked vegetables, and of course the pasta, a lovely tortellini in cream sauce. The dessert buffet was epic. I especially loved the intensely chocolate cake.LIKEI really appreciated the covered open patio seating. As someone still trying to avoid Covid and all the other viruses floating around, the airflow helped me feel safer in a crowd of a few hundred people. I will return when I'm in the neighborhood."
"We happened upon Atlas while on a date in the area, and we both agreed this is probably the best pizza we've ever had!We ordered the Italian garlic combo pizza, noori chicken wings, and potato wedges. The pizza was chock-full of toppings, incredibly flavorful, and the crust had the perfect crunch--so delicious! The wedges and wings were fantastic, well-seasoned, and crispy!Service was outstanding! We initially sat inside, but since it was such a beautiful day, we decided to move to the patio. I didn't catch her name, but the young lady was incredibly helpful in assisting us with the move and was very attentive throughout.Parking was a bit tricky (street parking), but we managed to find a spot near the front. Definitely coming back!"
"Centonove is one of my favorite restaurants in Los Gatos. It's our go-to spot for my friends and me. Our favorite drink is the Pear Martini--it's so delicious and dangerously easy to have too many! The first time I went, we ordered pizza, which was a great choice, especially since they offer gluten-free and vegan options. However, since then, I've become partial to their Fiocchi di Pera--pasta pockets with pear and cheese in a Gorgonzola cream sauce. Absolutely divine! The staff is knowledgeable and super fun, adding to the great atmosphere. I highly recommend making a reservation, especially on weekends, as seating--both indoors and outdoors--is limited. But even if you have to wait, it's definitely worth it!"
"I'm torn.Everything is very "four-star" about this place. The Garret reminds me of old-school Pizza Hut, this one being cavernous, dark, divey, and woody, with a bar area. All the workers were pleasant and attentive, which is why I am not giving it three stars. The food was not bad. We started with garlic fries, getting a decent amount of hot fries covered in a creamy diced garlic for $5. The build-your-own pizza wasn't cheap, but the medium seemed big. The pizza seemed flavorless, though we think the garlic fries had something to do with that. With a little parmesan and red pepper flake, I enjoyed it. I loved the crispy but doughy crust. The leftover pizza was better than any other leftover pizza. No self-service sodas, but refills are free. The problem is that we went at 5:30 on a Saturday, and it was full of kids. That makes it great for families, but not for people who aren't used to eating while kids scream talk at the top of their lungs. These unnecessarily loud kids all seemed to have Raiders fans for Dads so I couldn't really go up there and ask them to leash their kids or give them peanut butter to keep them from barking a while. If you think I'm being an old man, other reviewers agreed: "noisy kids" (Michael R); "a little too noisy to have a quiet conversation" (Rakesh B); "good for holding large gatherings but can be noisy." (Ed H); "ridiculously loud everywhere that the noise becomes UNTOLERABLE" (Yvette R); "arcade makes people feel they can let kids run free." (Anonymous); "Expect it to be loud with kids running around." (Lorraine C); "a lot of kids during the dinner rush." (Barney T); "People think it's Chuck E Cheese and let their kids literally run wild through this place...kids squealing and running through the table." (Jon C). "A ton of kids." (Killer Kitty). "The only downside of this place are the unattended whiny little snot-nosed kids that run around high on caffeine." (Patrick J)I loved the atmosphere, service, and food, but I would only return super late at night or while kids are in school or once I lose my hearing."

We were in the neighborhood looking for a bite to eat and came across Pausa. I'm so thankful that we found this cute spot with amazing ambiance. We've been back a few times now and always look forward to our next visit. If you can score a reservation, awesome. If not, there are usually seats at the bar. Either way, you won't be disappointed. Some of our fave dishes are their seasonal salads, butchers/cheese boards, and the margherita pizza. The pizza has been the highlight for us and we get it every single time. For awhile they had a mushroom side which I absolutely loved. Their menu rotates so it's hard to fall in love with something before it goes away! Haha. They have a full bar and their bartenders make excellent drinks. Street parking only.

I have been coming to Luigi's for over 20 years - food and service have always been great. There was a misunderstanding on a recent order and we received the wrong item and they honored my order. That's service

Favorite pizza in the bay area. Staff is hit or miss as we've had really good service and some fairly odd moody experiences too. The food never misses but they are extremely slow sometimes have 40+ minute waits for a pizza. It would be awesome if they upgraded their oven situation for speed but probably never going to happen. Good place for a big group but with live music etc, you can run into limited availability when locals flood the place. We have done sports games there which can be fun if it's local teams but outside teams they care very little about putting game on or giving you audio for the game. Late game 3 of World Series lady turned off sound in the 9th like we were disturbing the 5-10 people in the joint after watching the whole game there. Pizza amazing (55cheesburger is favorite) beers are pretty solid, service is hit or miss, ambience also hit or miss. Check it out with an open mind.

The cheese pizza is better than some that we had in New York and my kids love the calzones which are huge and come with tasty marinara sauce. There is plenty of seating, service is friendly and the food comes fast. My favorite place for New York Style pizza. Check out Giovanni's next time you're in North Sunnyvale!

I was looking for a place that serves pasta in a parmesan cheese wheel. Found it and had the place bookmarked for a future visit. Finally had a chance to visit recently. We shared several dishes so we can try a bunch of their offerings.Their beet salad was tender and tasty. Served with roasted hazelnuts, some kind of mild cheese crumbled and butter lettuce leaves. Tasty and pretty light. The grilled octopus was the highlight of my meal there. Lightly grilled and oh so tender. The pasta in the cheese wheel was prepared table-side and with a well-practiced flourish. It was creamy (as expected) and worth the wait. The Panna cotta was a lot creamier than was expected. The pieces of fruits were at the height of freshness and just the right amount of ripeness and sweetness to round out the meal.Looking forward to coming back soon!

In the heart of San Pedro Square marketplace is this pizza spot. San Pedro Square marketplace is a popular spot to watch sports games with lots of food spots and drinks to order. Food:10/10 I got a margherita pizza and the ingredients are so fresh and the cheese was perfectly melted. There was more than just 2 basil leaves in my margherita, which is a plus too. Their pizzas are not very crispy but they are from a wood oven and I like that the pizza isn't too oily. The pizza is cut into only 4 slices, but shareable amongst two people. The price is fair for the quality and taste. Ambiance: In front of the pizza place, there are high tables and high chairs, there are also booths you can sit at too. You can order on the kiosk or in person. The workers are very friendly. There's a parking garage across the pizza place and plenty of street parking spots too. This is now my favorite food spot in the San Pedro Square marketplace. Looking forward to my next pizza craving!:)

First of all, it will be hard to get better service. Chelo, our server, was excellent. He really took care of us.I had the meatballs and pasta. Way too much food! Very hearty. My wife enjoyed her gnocchi. My son in law had the Frutti di Mare and it was loaded with fish. Daughter had the pasta marinara with vodka sauce. She had bay shrimp which made it really tasty. We usually eat here when we go to the San Jose Airport. We always look forward to a great Italian meal.

"I've always passed by here to Hmart but never visited. One parent had organized a team basketball dinner here and I was surprised. Clean, decent seating, draft beer and wine. Cashiers were very pleasant and really accomodated our large group that consisted of 40 people. Ordered a half steakhouse/ chicken pesto pizza and it was delicious. Highly recommend."
"Vegan ranch and vegan pizza 5/5.I had phoned in a very odd request only because I am currently breastfeeding and my baby has a cow's intolerance. Ordered a small combination pizza with vegan cheese. The person on the other end of the phone was very pleasant and made sure that I wanted vegan cheese but with meat on the pizza. Came in to pick up the pizza 20 minutes later and was pleasantly surprised that they also offered vegan ranch! The pizza was amazing and the overall experience here was great. It is a small mom and pop shop specializing in vegan pizza, will definitely come back."
"The food was definitely amazing if you're craving good old classic pizza. Lots of options ranging from a classic New York pizza with cheese to Detroit style pizza. The wings were average but it was good for a pizza place. The worker was super nice, listened and spoke to us as if we were friends. The vibes were great! Only issue is there is little seating, but you can always walk to San Pedro's little seating area!100% would come back again."
"The most authentic Indian curry topping pizza. Plenty of vegetarian choices, and custom orders available. Family owned business. Hosts/owners are caring and thoughtful people. Tandoori Potato, Paneer Tikka, Pav Bhaji, Aaloo Gobi have generous amount of toppings unlike other pizza places where they throw a few on top to check the box. Think crust makes it more like sabzi on chapati, which is light and delicious."
"We came rather late but there was no wait or line. We were seated right away. I had the pomagranate fizz non-alcoholic drink and hubs had the henhouse beer. He never drinks or likes beer but said it was surprisingly good! My drink was refreshing and delish! We had the back ribs pizza and the cheese was super good. My other half said it tasted like feta (slightly gamey) but I tasted none of that. I really enjoyed the fresh cheese and it reminded of queso fresco. We also got a Margherita with Italian fennel sausage to go for the kiddos and that was also tasty! Love the thin crust. Reminds me of new York"
"Very cozy, inviting and pleasant atmosphere. The food is really good and the pizza from an oven wooden is super tasty. The good thing is the happy hour has great deals! The service was excellent and super fast - no long waiting to be seated and served."
"I'm always trying to find good food deals in SF, and Fiorella has one of my favorite ones! On the last Monday of every month, they have certain pastas, pizzas, and wine for $10, and lower priced appetizers. I had to book my reservation 2 months in advance though, but luckily there are 2 other locations in SF (Polk and Sunset) you can try to reserve too! We picked the Neopolitan Pizza (and added the pepperoni, mushroom, and sausage toppings) and the Lumache Fra Diavolo pasta. I loved the spice with the pasta, and the sauce was so creamy and flavorful. We also ordered the meatballs which were some of the best meatballs I've had in SF. The $10 house red wine was great, and they definitely gave us more than 1 glass worth (felt like 2 glasses with the carafe they gave) which is a steal! One thing to note was that their back patio seating only allowed service dogs, which is the first time I've been in a restaurant in SF where they didn't allow dogs to sit outside or on the patio. Other than that, I had such a great experience here! I do think it's a little overpriced to come here on a normal night, so I highly recommend trying to get a reservation on the last Monday of the month, so much more worth it."
"Went here for dinner with my friends recently and all the pizzas were so yummy! They were pretty busy on a Thursday night as well but the food came out pretty fast. There was a bunch of options to choose from but we ordered the burrata, Ccalabrese + honey, and funghi pizzas. Definitely devoured those slices of pizza. I recommend coming here if you're craving some wood fired oven pizza with a good ambiance."
"We ordered the Linguine Pesto Chicken, Fettuccine al San Francisco, Sausage Polenta, and cannoli. Everything was delicious! The service was amazing and the servings were generous, not like other restaurants. We will definitely be back."
"What a great pizza place for your family or even for date night. It has pizza, pasta, and more. I love the thin crust on their pizza, and I recommend the margarita pizza and any of their salads. Also, they have great desserts, and mud pie from Marianne's ice cream is in Santa Cruz! Which is my favorite. The restaurant itself is clean. They have great staff. It's pretty quick and we didn't wait very long. I definitely recommend this place for a birthday. Quick dinner, maybe lunch, or a night out for drinks."
"Went in Sunday 5:30 and they were able to accommodate our party of 12. Ordered the Fettuccine Chicken Tequila, as was recommended by our server and asked for it to be made less spicy. It came out perfect! It was quite tasty with just a slight kick to it. Everyone at our table seemed to like what they ordered. Even tasted the pear salad and two desserts - tiramisu and an apple bread pudding served with a scoop of ice cream. All were very good as well. Service was excellent. As we left, it was pretty much a full house. Would definitely recommend this restaurant."
"Another update as it's been a couple years since. Falafel Corner has changed its name to Falafel Fremont. Same people, same place just different name. No more check in for a free baklava but that's ok, it was just a nice little perk. The parking here is always hit or miss as depending on the peak eating times can be challenging with Kakuna Sushi nearby and now Dope Pho. Recently we actually had to park in the middle section instead of right in front, but that's okay. There are still spaces. They can get a bit busy at which times, they may not even pick up the phone which can be frustrating. We did come after not being able to reach them over the phone and saw that there were large groups waiting for their food and so we ended up going somewhere else.Inside is pretty spacious with tables. We have yet to try their pizzas and we've been meaning to. Their gyro meat is just too salty and oily for me for some reason so I avoid it as well as falafels. What we do come here for is the burgers. It's always a place we come back for the burgers. The fries can be hit or miss, sometimes we switch it up for the curly ones.Just drop by, try them out and perhaps I'll eventually try their pizzas."
"Came here on a Thursday evening for dinner and I'm glad we came early (~5:15) because it started to get packed shortly after! We ordered the crispy cauliflower and the New Haven style baby clam pizza. The crispy cauliflower was delicious and I was surprised that I haven't had cauliflower served this way before. It had a nice caramelization and slightly crunchy texture that was light and not heavy at all. It reminded me of maple glazed brussel sprouts which I'm a big fan of. I'm usually not a white sauce pizza kind of person but I was very intrigued by the clam pizza. It was good and I was pleasantly surprised by the abundance of baby clams and how they did not give off an overly seafoody or fishy flavor. After a couple slices though, it did become a little one note for me and I think I might have preferred it without the mozzarella.Service was super friendly and food came out in a decent amount of time, with the pizza piping hot from the wood-fired oven.I'll be back to try their other pizzas soon!"
"We've been back several times and in the past found the host to be rather unpleasant although we enjoyed the food. The place isn't large but nicely organized with good amount of tables. This time the host and guy behind the bar were all friendly and cheery. We ordered a fungi pizza, Caesar salad, and lasagna bolognese. We liked them all but especially the pizza and salad!"
"Tonight was my last Bible Study class before summer break. We decided to order pizzas and I was in charge of purchasing & pickup. I called Jake's to check if they offered a discount on large orders. I figured maybe 10%. Juan answered my call and after I shared the reason for my order he immediately offered to cover one of the large specialty pizzas!!! WOW I didn't expect that. The restaurant offer's a variety of food, not just pizza and the ambiance is perfect to watch a game, order wings and drinks When I arrived at Bible study with 5 large pizza boxes everyone was stoked when they saw Jake's Pizza!!! Their pizza is SO GOOD!Shout out to Juan! Thank you for your generosity and kindness!!!!"
"Do you need a quick fix for a slice or perhaps scratch that pasta itch? Rosie's will make it happen for you. The pasta portions are super generous (easily 2 meals for me). The pizza is definitely NY style, thin crisp crust that are large enough to fold and consume with much gusto. The dine-in vide is not NY neighborhood pizza joint though, more of a sports bar vibe. The garlic knots are delish but best eat fresh."
"Happy birthday Alex! We came here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. Strangely we were the only party here this whole time. Our food came pretty quickly after we ordered. So hard to choose! Everything on the menu looks delicious. +1 service was great! Came to refill our waters regularly +1 food came out quick! +1 good portion sizes! Only keeping it a 4 stars because the appetizers I was not too impressed. Calamari was cold and too salty, poke was not bad but the chips to poke ratio was quite stingy lol Allen and I got the paella and lobster pasta, and both were so filling. Lunch has lunch combos too. Overall, I would come here again for a fancy occasion. I can see the vibes being nice at night time!"
"One of the best New York style pizza in the area! They have many options, sizes, and items. They make it fresh for every order and are usually very fast.Their King Kong sized whole pizza is huge when we need to feed a lot of people. I usually opt for a large size for family dinner nights. It's not a big store since most people take out but there is some space to seat indoors. Parking lot is shared strip mall but parking is limited near the pizza shop since cars are always parked there on that side. This is my go to pizza spot when we have any event!"
"We've become regulars to Best Desi Pizza over the last two years and with our recent order today 1/22/2023, we've noticed they changed their sizing. We typically order a large or the XL and upon todays XL order we were disappointed to see that they gave us a L instead. After further investigation it looks like they've added a new size 3XL which I assume is now what used to be the XL.A bit disappointing since they've changed the sizing. I would've rather they kept the same sizing and raised the prices."
"A longstanding gem in the West Portal neighborhood for grab-and-go authentic Italian fare, Little Original Joe's is a lively corner shop to stop in for deli, pizza, pasta and even soft serve. Many order on their website then come and pick-up. Otherwise, order at the cashier and the friendly staff will bag your goodies when ready. We ordered a slice of pizza, spicy vodka pasta, and a chicken parm sandwich. The latter was more carbs than protein, but their pizzas and pasta are da bomb!Few Al fresco tables outside, don't expect to find a seat, especially on weekends."
"Had the Christmas menu dinner last night. Started with a persimmons salad which had a balsamic reduction, pomegranate and Parmesan. It was delicious. Then, lamb chops (medium well only) with a pomegranate reduction, fingerling potatoes and brussels sprouts were on point. Everything on the plate looked and tasted great. Service was friendly and on pace and atmosphere was festive and lively. Love this place."
"Had such a stellar experience at Bantam this evening! From the warm service to DELICIOUS food and wine, I highly recommend if you're in Santa Cruz! We're visiting from LA for a few days and this place is definitely on par with LA standards for GOOD food. We ordered the caesar salad, pickled cauliflower, fried chicken & soppressata pizza, as well as a bottle of Chianti.Highly recommend all of the above and wish we could stomach dessert! The staff were all extremely sweet and personable and we can't wait to come back next time we're in town!"
"Nice neighborhood Italian restaurant! We booked a reservation a few days before and were seated promptly when we arrived. Parking is a bit of a nightmare (surprise surprise!), so try to arrive a bit early to account for that.We started off with 3 appetizers. The Farro salad was really refreshing, the Arancini were tasty and filled with melty cheese and a creamy sauce, and the meatballs were so smooth and flavorful--one of the best meatballs I've had!The Funghi pie and the NYC pepperoni pizza were not bad, nothing super memorable, though. My only gripe with the pepperoni pizza is that the dispersement of the pepperoni was not well executed. You can see in the picture that most of the pepperoni got placed on 1/2 the pizza which meant some people did not get much pepperoni on their slice :( And sadly... I was that person who only got 2 pieces of pepperoni *crying face*We also ordered 2 pastas: the Bolognese and the Vodka Diavolo. My mom really enjoyed the Bolognese and the rest of us really enjoyed the Vodka Diavolo! And lastly, we ordered the Tiramisu and Ricotta cake. Just a warning, the Tiramisu lady fingers were hard--we weren't expecting to feel resistance when cutting it with our spoons! But when we asked the waitress she explained that it was supposed to be flaky and not super soft. So that was nice to know.Overall, it was a nice dining experience with attentive and kind serving staff, and good food!"
