I laughed it off, cuz it was funny having him tell me, "I'm sorry man, I didn't know you weren't wearing a shirt!" HAAAA!!Like I would ever wear a shirt."

Plenty of parking (can get busy during the day), plenty of outlets/plugs, and it's divided into a cafe, lunch area, and lounge type deal depending on what time of day you come. People pretty much come here and mind their own business or walk in from the surrounding biotech/tech companies for lunch or happy hour. Food 5/5The lattes are yummy and reasonable priced - $5-6. I've also had a sandwich with a side salad and a salad and they're reasonable for the bay :) and quite tasty! Also once tried the wings and fries which were yummy.Service 4/5I enjoy it cause no one really bothers you if you're just working :) if you want food, people are attentive if you're at the lounge.Lunch area and cafe are walk up to purchase Overall, highly recommend! Can't remember the name and it's not just because I was wasted, but that definitely ain't helping the situation! Anyway, got a pitcher there, chilled, moved on to good ol' Hyde Park Lounge.Grabbed another pitcher, Elysian Spacedust (not coke) probably. We're in the back on the patio, just me'n'mah boi hanging out. Funny enough, we saw several people this bar who migrated from the same bar that we just came from. One of the gentleman and my friend hit it off, and as we're hanging out in the back, I see the bar lady bringing a pitcher out toward us. No one's out there, just us, and I freaking IMMEDIATELY knew that dude was gonna be the death of us. So now we're 3 pitchers of Spacedust in and things are getting fuzzy.Then the shots start rolling in. Oh Jame-O, you dirty dingo. Well, that's pretty much when things started getting real blurry and funny stories were to be told come the morning, along with the pounding headache. Lovely.Anyway, it's a dive bar, bruh, if you have high expectations, maybe you oughtta stick to your bougie places cuz this ain't one of 'em! "Came here for NYE dinner with a friend. We both ordered the prime rib. I let the waitress know that I also wanted to order something to-go, but that I would tell her later in the evening. She insisted I tell her now and she'd take care of it, and so I did. We were quickly served bread, and our food followed shortly after. The bread comes with a side of butter and balsamic+oil. The prime rib and the accompanying side dishes were perfectly cooked. The prime rib paired with the au jus was *chef's kiss*. For dessert, I ordered the famous mud pie, while my friend ordered the crème brûlée. The mud pie was okay. I was disappointed there wasn't a thicker crust. It was essentially a large plate of ice cream with whipped cream and fudge. The creme brûlée was also okay. It was made with white chocolate and would've been more well-balanced if it came with more fruit.Now here is the kicker. We get the bill and notice the to-go order was not on it. I tell our waitress and she goes to get it fixed. Well, it turns out she completely forgot to place the order and by then, the kitchen had already closed down. This is why I initially said i would personally let her know about my to-go item later, but she insisted I tell her at the beginning. Aside from a simple apology, there was no other attempt at service recovery. That food was meant to be a NYE meal for someone who now had to ring in the new year on an empty stomach. Not to mention, by that hour, it was impossible for me to find an appropriate alternative elsewhere.The food is good, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. I will not be coming back a second time."

"Not sure if I would be too into the crowds and music here on the weekend. But my mid-week visit was fun and chill. RubberSoul (hip hop, soul, and rnb) is apparently on Wed nights... think music like Paperboy's Ditty (yes, that one made my night!) The drinks were strong, the bartenders and DJ's were friendly, the crowd was carefree, respectful, and just having a good time... not overbearing in numbers, but not dead and empty, which is a great balance. The place was clean, with cool colored lighting, comfy lounge seating in the back (though barely used on a Wed night), and a small dance area with a couple TV screens.Great spot to enjoy a couple drinks and some good music, especially on a Wed (for me), where I got to enjoy some old school hits in beautiful downtown Campbell :)"

I asked the waitress for a tropical and fruity alcoholic beverage recommendation. She suggested the Passionfruit Caipirinha, which sounded delightful as I love passionfruit. While the drink seemed very well made, it tasted more like a margarita (don't like margaritas it tastes like drinking salt to me even without the salt on the rim) with a subtle hint of passionfruit, which isn't to my taste.I'm glad to have discovered INDO, tucked away just off El Camino. I look forward to returning for the wonderful food."

"Being a poker player from Canada, I was really impressed by this casino. Maybe it's because all the rooms in Canada are terrible, but this was the best poker room I've ever been to. The dealers are very fast and rarely make mistakes. Table service was great and I even had food from here as well. The action was amazing here, way better than Vegas. Though you don't get things like free drinks or any comps, it is the best run casino I've been to personally."

"Nestled in the back of hotel de anza is this little gem. A gem that needs to be talked about.A few nights ago, my co-workers and some chaps met up here to have a few drinks and unwind. It was my first time herr, and I've got to say, it is a very cozy spot. The inside is furnished with huge comfortable couches and chairs all around a fireplace. There was a live band playing some old school jazz. The bartenders and bar is well maintained and very hospitable. The lads behind the bar had all.sorts of hard alcohol to play with and a few exotic beers I've never heard of. The price for everything isn't terribly steep either. In addition, there is a beautiful patio in the back to really unwind. Overall; We really enjoyed ourselves with the live music, the great drinks and to cozy atmosphere. We'll definately be back!"

Bartenders were super friendly and brought our drinks to us quickly. $2.50 for domestic beers and $5 Patron silver shots during POWER HOUR on Thursdays! $20 buckets of 6 bottles of imported beer, $15 for domestic. I really like this place I should have came here sooner."

"Location: San Jose off Almaden Rd, near 24 fitness.Ambiance and Decor: wooden panel walls, flat screen TV seen in all walls, and a new school juke box near the entry. This is the after work spot. The place where the "good fellas" would kick it around 3pm. This is where the PTA moms would come through before Service: Friendly smile. The bartender seems to know all the locals.Food: i have yet to eat here since the drinks it what I normally go for.. Drinks: they have a selection of 5 different local IPA's as well as the standard beers found in most bars. Their cocktails are well mixed especially their old fashion. During my visit I ordered a Glenfiddich 14 year and it was a deep pour. Needed to step out a few times to get my bearings straight. Overall: 5/5 totally worth the visit. Prices are inexpensive and the local crowd makes everyone feel like family."

"Where do you go for dinner in downtown San Jose? We have season tickets for Broadway San Jose and come here for six performances a year at the San Jose Center for Performing Arts. Ever since 2017. Always come with a Groupon coupon.3% service fee surcharge, and only $17 off the $50 Groupon, discount good for only 60 days after you purchase it.Prices have increased greatly between 2022 and 2023, up 25% to 100%. Loved the $17 (was $12) garlic noodles but had to pay $14 (was $6) surcharge for adding five shrimp. Now the garlic noodles with shrimp is $31 (was $18). Another favorite is the $37 (was $29) flat iron steak with two prawns which were the size of shrimp. Pricey for a four-ounce piece of steak.Wife's favorite was the $46 seabass (was $38), only gripe was the portion size was four ounces, too tiny.Today she orders the $32 Ahi tuna(was $25). Not quite as fresh as in the past.I order the $12 hot and sour soup(was $6). Comes with plenty of tofu and bamboo shoots, but the hot and sour broth is yellow and not brown in color. Must have run out of the sour broth, as it is not at all sour, and unfortunately has the same color as dishwash water.The $19 yang chow fried rice came with overly salty and old tasting Chinese sausage. Sausage tasted like it had been sitting around for months. Wife ate everything off her Ahi Tuna plate except the seaweed salad, which I ate after she said it was too sour. And she's always complaining about me not eating enough vegetables."

I feel like the dressing wasn't as good as expected and the fried chicken pieces came out soggy."

"Nova fits the bill of a club in San Jose to a tee. It has a decent amount of space, bottle service with small sections for VIP folks and drinks that are a touch more expensive that they probably should be. I got there around 11:30ish, paid a cover ($20) and stood in line for about 10 minutes. Upon breaching the threshold I saw the club was around 60-70% full. Typical club behavior lol. A few folks behind me left the line due to the wait but I was meeting friends therefore I was relatively committed. I believe it was reggaeton night and although I didn't hear that as a main music type, they did sprinkle in some of the classics. The DJ was okay. They were playing a lot of the older hip hop club songs like swag surf, no hands etc. but the DJ would only play maybe 45 secs max of a song then try to mix a new song. A word to the DJs out there, if the club is vibing with a track LET IT RUN. The drinks were good and the bartenders were attentive. I didn't have a bad night but it could've been a little better but it's also a club in SJ so I'm neutral? I can't say don't check it out but I'd say bring a fun group."

So much so that they were broken into soggy little pieces. The sauce was very bland and there wasn't enough salt in the world that could help it. I was told the chicken quesadilla was good, although I didn't try it. The Marriott burger was said to be the best thing on the menu, but I didn't find it to be anything special. They give you a very small amount of condiments in a very small saucer. The fries were good. I asked if the kettle chips are made there, and the waitress said no, so I skipped on those. Grilled salmon was standard grilled salmon. Served with veggies and calrose rice."

We ordered other desserts it the chocolate cake was good, baked Alaska was alright. Service was good - not too overwhelming in our face, but was there to help. Focaccia was SO good. Unlimited as well...Would I come here again? Maybe, if you are staying at the Ritz. There aren't many options around here, so this was pretty good."

The ambiance was upscale and calm, the service was quick, and it was easy to get a reservationHere's what we ordered:- chicken kulcha -- this kinda reminded me of the really good puffy bread from Elephante with some seasoned, ground chicken added in. It was delicious - paratha quesadillas -- this was a super creative concept and my favorite thing we ordered! - paneer / spinach ravioli with saag -- my bf loves saag so we ordered this but we didn't enjoy it too much. It felt like something was missing from the saag and the ravioli was alright, but still a cool concept I've never seen on a menu- butter chicken -- delicious, the chicken was so tender and flavorful, it was cooked well- raita -- good as well, was on the sweeter side - masala chaa -- delicious We're happy to have discovered an Indian restaurant with a great ambiance and food, and we will be back for sure!"

They had the balls to challenge me on this telling that there's no way that happened, mind we were not the only people who this happened too. When we told management of our experience all we gots was we are sorry it's was are soft opening. Then that should have been mentioned when we arrived. They are trying to be like Ruth Chris they are more like Applebee's. The only thing they did like Ruth Chris was the prices. "Brand new Gin Bar in Sunnyvale! They have an excellent selection of gins from all over the world. They also have a fun gin-based cocktail menu based on the "History of the Cocktail", including a 1867 Gimlet, 1920's Last Word, 1980's Bramble, etc.The bartender Edgar gave us a GREAT experience. He made a few excellent cocktails and martinis with a variety of different gins. Part of the fun is just trying new gins! They have clean lond dry style, barrel aged, flavored, hyper-local gins, and... if you MUST some vodka and whiskey too. ;)The space is also GORGEOUS. Plenty of seating, and there's a fun foosball table made of transparent material! Tues-Thu there's even live music!Some pro-tips for when you arrive:* It's at the AC Hotel on Java Drive* The entrance to the parking is in back, on Bordeaux Drive.* The front desk can validate the ticket for the parking garage.* The Gin Bar is in a separate building from the Whiskey bar (and restaurant), right next door.* You can order food from the restaurant if you ask.Definitely going to come back again!"
