"The best restaurant for dim sum in the SF Bay Area! It's been my favorite for years and I return every time I visit. Their dim sum is high quality. Some of my favorites are the purple rice paper shrimp rolls, the salted egg custard lava steamed buns, and the Peking duck - it's literally the best around. The two locations in SF are very spacious. They have private rooms available for large parties and their venue is available for wedding banquets as well. Lots of tables and bright lighting, but don't be fooled, HL Peninsula is so popular that they are always busy, even on weekdays! Be prepared for a wait, especially on busier days like weekends and prime Chinese brunch hours."
"Ambiance was great! Take out and ate at home :). They did add two huge lights and repainted the walls about a month ago in their dining room. It looks great individually but doesn't quite work. Maybe it's the paper table cloth. Tonight's to go dinner was very good. The crispy flounder fish was crisp when we got it home and there was enough sauce. The honey walnut prawns sauce wasn't as smooth & thin as it should be but the flavor was fine. I only ate one salt & pepper pork chop. My family demolished it and they loved it. Peking duck was perfect today, a little fatty, a little thin, buns were warmed, meat on some of the bones. The housin sauce & greens were good. I was very happy with this meal. We also went for dim sum. We arrived about noon on a Thursday. It was not super full. We marked our choices and they took about 15 minutes to come out. It was much fresher on this trip. I would come again."

"Dumplings are one of my favorite foods and I was excited to see this dumpling shop open in the area. It's kind of small, but they pack a lot of frozen dumplings, pastries, and buns in here. You can find eclectic dumpling flavors here. My favorites are the pork soup dumplings, fish dumplings, and pork and cabbage dumplings. The only things I've had here which were kind of disappointing were the buns which were bland and dry and the leek dumplings which I'm pretty sure they use dill instead of leek and there was a lot of it which overpowered everything.I've been back a few times already and stocked up my freezer with my favorites!"
"It's been nearly eight since last review. However I've been back a handful of times for my go to combo + other add on's.Not much has changed. The little shop in this strip mall reminds me of a mom and pop business in Sf's Chinatown where staff speaks Chinese and shipping boxes are everywhere in the entry lobby. Im sure it's organized chaos. I have my favorites and I point on the board but since I don't speak the language, the older Chinese lady becomes louder and near rude when I dont understand. Please can I make a public request to have someone who can speak and understand English as a front person with adequate customer service knowledge. That person can work with rude lady, if needed.Although my favorite items (Baked BBQ pork bun, turnip cake, congee and yellow noodles) have me returning). I'm afraid to recommend this location bc of the minimal English and rude customer service i encountered on 12/28."
"Came by the other day and it was a quick and easy experience. Parking was plentiful in the private lot. Tai Pan is now take out exclusively. They take cash or credit cards with a 3% surcharge.Service is curt and always ends with a "anything else" in an effort to upsell.Highlights here include the beef chow fun which is a steal at $5.3 for a small. There is also a vegetarian option. The pot stickers, when available, are also quite tasty. The pan fried chives dumplings are a hit and they're gigantic.Other highlights include the fried shrimp balls featuring small pieces of lard inside or the fried wontons with chunky bits of pork and shrimp.Their egg tarts are also decent, without the trek up to Golden Gate Bakery in Chinatown SF"
"I can't rave about this place enough! The food is amazing and super fresh! They give you an iPad with the menu, you chose your items and place your order. The food comes out really quick and uggghhhh soo good! The kung pao was the perfect mix of spicy and crunchy, the sticky ribs were tender and flavorful, the pan fried dumplings were the best I've ever had and the chow mein was perfectly greasy and chewy without being mushy. The staff isn't very friendly but they are prompt with service and more than helpful with menu questions. I thought it was just a dumpling spot but was pleasantly surprised to see all the menu items. So so good! It is on the menu expensive side but it's worth it."
"High quality ingredients, quick service and fantastic ambiance. Whenever we want dim sum, the is our go-to place after trying many in the Bay Area. Non dim sum items are also of the best quality we have tried, depth and intensity of flavor. We always have a great time every time we visit."
"I had really high hopes for this place because I love myself a good dim sum and they have such a wide variety, but honestly it wasn't up to par. I don't know if it was because I went towards their last hour of closing or what, but I got the shrimp and chive dumpling and the minute I bit into it, it was just soggy. The flavor was not bad, but also not great, I just wish that with it being pan fried it would have had a crispy exterior. The eggs rolls on the other hand had a pretty good flavor and were actually crispy. I have mixed feelings with this place, I may have to go back maybe during peak hours and give it another shot."
"Passed by this place for what feels like my entire life and only getting to try it now. The xiaolongbao here are as flavorful and satisfying as any high end restaurant I've been to. We weren't too hungry so kept to that and their pot stickers, which fried bottoms are coated with sesame seeds. Staff are friendly and it's a small but clean place. Four stars only because we didn't try enough food to give a proper evaluation, but what we did have was super tasty. Definitely returning."
"Good value and good service! There aren't too many dim sum places around the area so this becomes our go-to spot.Items we like:- duck rice crepe rolls (my favorite)- pan fried daikon cake with xo sauce- roast duckItems we would pass:- baked BBQ pork buns (overcooked - looked brown instead of golden, will try the steamed BBQ pork buns next time)"
"After a really bad experience at another restaurant in the Sunset we decided to give this one in Daly City a try. Located not far from Westlake Mall, it's located on top of a hill, alongside other businesses. The parking situation is a little complicated, still; however, there is plenty of parking space around the restaurant, just not immediately within the vicinity. This used to be a King Wah, which was a BIG staple of my childhood -- but I'm glad to see that it became a better version of that restaurant and renamed as well. This restaurant definitely had the capacity to seat big parties like our family function, which we had 11 people. Here's how our experience went at this restaurant -- keep in mind that I did put our experiences over the rest of the reviews that I saw online: Food: 8/10 I'd recommend getting the party combos for 11 people since it's actually more than enough to feed everybody. A little bit more on the expensive side, but a very smart financial decision when eating with so many people. We got the $498 combo which consisted of 10 to 11 different dishes -- one of them being BBQ Combo Platter, Bamboo Pith & Seafood Soup, and more. The BBQ platter left my taste palates wanting more honestly. The highlight would probably have to be the whole Peking duck that we got -- alongside the sea cucumber with mushrooms and pea sprouts. The texture was spongy and saucy and honestly, with the amount given to us, I can't complain about it. What blew me away was the dessert: not only was it red bean soup, but it was also typical dim sum items that we didn't really expect to be part of the menu. With a sponge cake and egg custard buns. Service: 9.5/10The service given to us was pretty superb -- it was very responsive and we really appreciate it a lot. Despite the fact that there were 11 people in our group, they did everything in their might to make sure that our experience was a good one, and that we had a spectacular time. The fact that we didn't have to wait for the big table meant a significant amount to us, and the professionalism that the waitresses and the owner treated us with respect, integrity, and made us also feel like family at home. Atmosphere: 7/10Given that this restaurant was on a hillside, I'm not gonna blame the restaurant, but it was a little tight in terms of space. It was hard to get in and get out from the tables, and while I had appreciated that the service was superb, the patrons around us were not as nice, and also lacked manners. We had told several tables several times to mind their own business, of which I had to talk to them in a very condescending manner. Overall, the community around Daly City is nice, but just be aware of people who will act like buttholes."
"I've been coming here for years and still stop by from time to time. They have a good variety of fresh dim sum at reasonable prices. I normally get their onion bread, shu mai, and har gow. Their stir fried noodles aren't bad either! I've gotten their porridge a few times when I was sick. The workers are always pretty nice and quick with helping you. There's no seating inside so it's more of just a take out restaurant."

Solid spot for dim sum, offering a great selection of fresh, flavorful dishes. The shrimp dumplings (har gow), pork buns, and siu mai were all top-notch, with thin, delicate wrappers and juicy fillings. The restaurant has a modern, upscale ambiance, but it can get crowded and noisy, especially on weekends. Service is efficient but can feel a bit rushed at times. Overall, if you're craving high-quality dim sum in the area, this place is worth a visit!!

This local gem has been around for many years! Gather round for a yum cha session at New Port Restaurant. Stepping into this bustling eatery on a sunny morning, you're instantly met with the savory aroma of freshly steamed dim sum and the cheerful chatter of families. We dove into a delightful array of treats- succulent Sui Mai perfectly balanced with pork and shrimp, tender Har Gow with its plump, juicy filling, and savory silken Rice Noodle Roll. If you're up for a sweet item, their Baked Pork Buns or Egg Yolk Lava Buns are perfectly crispy and semi sweet. These are the dim sum delights I enjoyed and recommend: Shrimp and Pork Dumplings (Siew Mai): These bite-sized gems are a delightful mix of juicy pork and succulent shrimp, topped with an orange roe that pops with every bite, always a staple!Baked BBQ Pork Bun: The sweet and savory filling of barbecued pork encased in a flaky, buttery pastry is an irresistible treat that offers a delightful crunch with each bite.Egg Yolk Lava Bun: A decadent surprise awaits inside these soft, pillowy buns-- a rich, creamy egg yolk lava that oozes out with the first bite, blending perfectly with the crisp bun. Deep Fried Shrimp Balls: Crisp on the outside and tender inside, these balls are a crunchy delight in a light, savory batter. Shrimp Rice Noodle Roll: Soft, silky rice noodle rolls filled with fresh shrimp, drenched in a sweet soy sauce--a slippery, savory pleasure that glides right off the spoon. Each dish at New Port Restaurant showcases the authentic flavors and meticulous preparation that make dim sum such a beloved dining experience. Don't miss out having dim sum here!

Service was amazing. Even though there was a language barrier there. Recommended different ones since I couldn't decide. Ambiance is quiet and cute and homey. And I tried the food once I got home and it was like a family member made it just for me and it was delicious

Giving them 3 stars because I love their crab rangoons, taro, and this one mochi pastry that has pork inside (i wish i knew its name), but other items that i've tried are only okay. The service is really fast-paced and can be overwhelming if you do not know what you want to order. Despite this, I keep returning to get my faves! Solid spot if you are looking for quick take-out dimsum.

This was my first time coming here. The food was so good and the service was fast. For the portion and price is amazing. The only reason why i am giving this place a 3 star is because i ordered the chicken feet. I was very excited to eat it; however once i got home and open the container, the smell was strong. It smelt like food you forgot and left out for too long. It also had a weird white film on the top. Everything else that i ordered was fresh and delicious, so i was very upset about the chicken feet.

We tried the very spicy beef noodle soup and pork belly noodle soup. The noodles were excellent and the pork belly and beef chunks were generous and delicious. The flavor of the broths was very aromatic and fragrant. I usually go for mild spicy; the very spicy beef noodle soup was too spicy and garlic forward for me, but the non spicy pork belly soup was perfect. The waiters were super quick with the food and polite and speak fluent Mandarin. Would come again when I'm in the area!

This is an upscale Chinese restaurant, you can tell right away as you are greeted warmly at the front.Full bar. Nicely decorated with nice painting and a large picture box with sculptures and figurines. The dim sum was pretty good. The usual fare of har gow, siu mai, baked bbq pork buns, peasprout dumpling, fried shrimp ball, gai lan, hot & Sour soup, combination Fried Rice, and Beef Chow Fun. For dessert, we had mochi. It was filled with black sesame paste, and crushed peanuts on the outside. Order ahead as these take at least 25-30min.I didn't get a chance to take pics as this was a work luncheon with a new group.

Fast, easy, no frills dim sum place. The line was a but long when we arrived, but moved fast. They have all the classic options. This is not a sit down place, but there are a few outdoor tables. There's a mix of sweet and savory options - menu is extensive! I enjoyed the har gow and the chicken feet!

"It's one of my favorite restaurants. Very Guang Zhou style! First of all, the waiter will provide free soup as the first dish. Our family love three different sauces to cook Alaska lobster. Different cooking ways bring us different good taste. The Guang Zhou style pigeon is very delicious. The price in this restaurant is very reasonable and the sea food is very fresh."
"Yum! Fantastic dim sum and Cantonese cuisine. Aside from your usual (but still yummy) favorites like Walnut Shrimp, they also offer dishes like Typhoon Shelter Baked Oysters and lots of Claypot dishes that will warm you up (so needed in these parts of the 'hood). Restaurant setup for your usual family and friends gatherings and/or take out and delivery. Located on Balboa Street and 45th Ave; just a few blocks away from Ocean Beach."
"I've been here twice. and the food is really good. and they have Dimsum . I have tried the beef chow fun, General Chicken and Sweet and sour pork. all was deliciousthe second time i tried the bbq pork fried rice with Mongolian beef and lemon chicken. really really good. and sui mai was awesome too.they do charge a little more for credit card. and the 2 item plate is like $14. and the dim sum is $5. so it it costly. but you get a lot on the plate. It serves 2 lunches for me!"
"This place was my favorite but now it has new ownership. I hate writing this because its Lunar NY. The menu is smaller, and the dishes they show on the monitors were not on the menu!Quality of the food is lacking and by the decline in number of customers in there, it shows. The dishes took a lot longer to get to us and there were only 3 tables."
"this place serves the most delicious fresh dim sum! my parents and i came on a sunday around 11:30 and waited about 20 minutes for a table. the interior is pretty nice and clean, but definitely bustling and a little crowded. service was pretty decent, as it seemed busy, and the price isn't bad! like others noted, the service fee is already included so be aware when you're tipping. we paid $81 for 3 people (we didn't finish everything either, so if you have a smaller appetite it won't be that expensive). parking can be tough so prepare to have a light walk from your car to the restaurant.we ordered several dishes and really enjoyed them. the chinese broccoli with oyster sauce were perfectly tender and savory, without being too salty. the shrimp har gow was really good, with tender, thin skin and plenty of shrimp (they did fall apart a little but still tasted good). the siu mai with roe came with a ton of meat/shrimp! the shrimp and chive rice roll was good as well. even better were the chicken feet, which were so tender they almost fall right off the bone in your mouth. my favorite item was the baked bbq pork bun - the most amazing crispy, buttery, yet incredibly fluffy bun paired with savory, juicy, mouthwatering bbq pork! i have no words for how delicious this bun was. i'd come here again purely for the bun - each bite was a mix of light sweetness and savoriness, juiciness and crunch. a must order if you come here! lastly, we had the egg yolk lava fried sesame balls. these were perfectly crispy and chewy, with the most delicious saucy egg yolk lava inside. it was a great way to end the meal. overall, this place has AMAZING dim sum. you do have to hustle a bit to wave a server down sometimes and might be overstimulated if you don't enjoy crowded/busy places, but the food will be fresh, authentic, and delicious. i would highly recommend coming here with a group so you can try lots of dishes! perfect for celebrations or large gatherings."
"Came here with some friends to have dimsum after attending a meeting. We ordered dimsum, of course, and had other items from the menu. The food was delicious and the service was good. When I saw the pictures from other people's post I thought the place was big, but it turns out it is quite small and a bit tight.Only giving 4 stars because it didn't give me that WOW factor. But I would still recommend this place if you're looking for dimsum in the area."
"This is the spot for some quick & delicious dimsum in the Tri-City area! Great friendly service and the place offers limited indoor & outdoor seating. I usually order to go and enjoy at home! You honestly can't go wrong with anything on the menu - my usual's include har cow, siumai, crispy glutinous puff, baked pork bun, chicken feet, taro puff, and chili oil wontons! Chicken wings are also great and packing flavor, but the portion size is very small! Check this place out if you're looking for some dim sum! You won't regret it!"
"Authentic Chinese food. Portions are larger than other restaurants. Service is great. We have been coming here for years when we lived in Dublin. We always come here when we travel back from Idaho. Soups, fish dishes, 辣子雞, 外婆豆腐, 豆角茄子 are a few of our favorites. I highly recommend."
"It's LIKE Koi Palace but with a twist!O R D E R E D * Boneless Hainan Chicken Rice* Cold Chicken Feet* Sour Cabbage with Fish* Ikura dumplings* Scallop sui mai* Lobster shrimp dumplings* Pineapple buns with butter* Hainan chicken rice* Sitcky RiceV E R D I C TKoi Palace Contempo is a delightful twist on the classic Koi Palace experience. While it shares the same high-quality standards, it's not your traditional dim sum spot. In fact, their menu is about 99% different and focuses more on entrees than dim sum!I've only visited for lunch, so I can't speak to their dinner offerings, but here's what I can tell you: If you're planning to come, try to arrive before 12 PM to beat the lunch rush, as it can get busy.Their menu features unique items you won't typically find at other places. Some of my favorites include:* Ikura dumplings* Scallop sui mai* Lobster shrimp dumplings* Pineapple buns with butterThey do have a small selection of dim sum items, but the real highlight here is their extensive menu, offering something for everyone.Bonus points for convenience! There's a large public parking lot right across from the restaurant, so parking is a breeze. If you're looking for a modern Chinese dining experience with creative and unique dishes, Koi Palace Contempo is definitely worth a visit."
"Came by for lunch the other day and it was a tasty experience. Parking is available on the street or in nearby city owned garages and/or surface lots. Dining is available indoors exclusively.Upon arrival, the host brought us to our table and presented us with a tablet to submit our order. Bao seems to be a Cantonese dim sum spot with small plates that are made to order.Started off with the stir-fried pea shoots and they were excellent, albeit a touch oily. Flavor was on point. Portions were decent. The salt and pepper calamari was also tasty. Lightly fried although the calamari was slightly chewy. The spicy wontons were quite tasty. Freshly made wontons served with some hot sauce. The baked BBQ buns were also decent. The bbq pork was flavorful and plentiful. I loved how thin the bbq pork breading was.The shrimp toast was rather lacklustre as it may have been a frozen dough stick refried with some shrimp paste.~$40/head after tax and gratuity for lunch with plenty of leftovers."
"Omg! Omg! Omg! That's pretty much all I gatta say! Amazing food! 1st time here and I don't regret it at all. Super affordable and the service here is so good. Everyone is so polite. The ambiance is really chill and the food is so good. I would totally go for the wings!!! The wings with sauce. The beef soup YUM!!!"
"Great addition to the Richmond! Glad to see more dim sum restaurants opening up in the area. I enjoyed a nice meal with my son this morning. It wasn't crowded past 11am but quickly filled up towards the lunch hour. We ordered sea bass pumpkin dumplings, shrimp dumplings, purple yam buns, Portuguese egg tarts, shrimp rice crepes and sui mai. Good quality as most seafood restaurants. Some of the dessert items came out by cart while the cooked/steamed items were brought out on trays. Service was friendly and attentive. The place was clean. While the decor is simple, the high ceilings make the place more spacious feeling. Large and small tables available for all party sizes. Not feeling crowded or cramped inside. Lots of elderly Chinese patrons, so this place is definitely legit! Restrooms were clean as well. Reasonably priced. Parking can be tough but since we went early, I was able to find a space around the block in the residential side street. Would return again with more people and try other dim sum items."
"First time dining in at the restaurant. The parking lot is decent sized. The restaurant is fairly large. It can accommodate quite a few large parties and maybe a small wedding reception. Two separate restrooms for men and women. The service was nice.My wife and I ordered...Salted Fish with steamed pork patty (3.5/5). The portion was a bit small for the price. The flavor was good. Peking Spareribs (3.5/5). The sauce was pretty good. Some of the fried spareribs were dry but overall pretty decent.Takeout order of the Szechuan Minced Pork with Green Beans for my mom."
"This place is interesting... the name is Epic Dumpling but they serve more than just dumplings! It's a wide assortment of food from all over China including Dim Sum and Cantonese dishes along side their Shanghai dumplings. The food is decent, but I would stick with the Shanghai cuisine like soup dumplings and boiled dumplings. Unfortunately, the take out pan fried dumplings were disappointingly soggy. I have to try them while dining in to give a fair assessment. For take out, the service is decent except they won't give you ginger with the vinegar which I think is BLASPHEMOUS and inauthentic. When eating dumplings... you gotta have the ginger...!They also sell dim sum at astronomical prices and very strange fusion and seasonal dim sum like brown sugar boba deep fried pumpkin buns so avoid those dishes no matter how good they sound! Service is fast, they get A LOT of take out orders and are pretty efficient and timely. No sooner and no later than the designated time. Overall: I think it's okay, I want to try their bentos which look pretty affordable at $15 a box. I will give it another shot."
"This is my mom's go to dim sum restaurant in town. Even though dishes cost a little quality, and service just can't be beat. It's always busy, so we always get there right around opening. Huge space that can host banquets as well!"
"The food tastes like I'm in Beijing & SG. Auntie the cashier is very friendly, she gave me extra shirm chive dumplings. The Uncle who is cutting the meat suggests getting freshly cooked pork and I'm glad I did. The place is set up for a quick in and out to go, they have also a few tables if you want to dine in."
"BBQ is on point, the grilled pork or the duck is a must have. 5/5Dim Sum is actually pretty mediocre but for a quick meal, it's not too bad.We ordered har gow, shui mai, the fried chive dumplings and the fried pork dumpling shaped like a football. The steamed dumplings were very doughy and tough, it is not restaurant quality har gow and the fillings did not taste like fresh shrimp. The fried dumplings were a bit on the greasy side.Long lines so be prepared and now they take credit cards, so that's a plus. Would I be back? Sure. Would I rather go to an actual restaurant for dim sum next time? Probably."
"Oriental Tea House has been around since I was a kid and a good option for dim sum in the East Bay. Dim sum is usually not my first option but will always indulge with friends/family on the variety of sweet and savory, baked, steamed, fried, roasted and sautéed items. Visited on a weekday (after Christmas) about 30 mins after opening. Even though they open at 10, the owners were still setting up and waiting for staff to arrive...not sure if the norm. Paper menus to mark your items, wave a server to place your order and then food delivered after about 10 minsPlace has been remodeled since I last visited but still the same, no nonsense service. You may even witness yelling across the dining room (as you quickly turn around to see what's going on) only to find out the staff arguing. Not uncommon...lol Fortunately, everyone who helped us was friendly with straightforward service.Items ordered were prepared nicely, light, flavorful, crisp, not oily and delicious. 8 items approx $75 with tax...then the restaurant will charge you a service fee of 15% for lunch and 18% for dinner. Up for debate if that's the tip or not. :/ Lot parking but will fill up by 12pm. A good option for dim sum in the San Leandro area, right off I-580. Bathroom: C+ - floors clean (at opening), paper towel roll by the sink, bright pink soap in a recycled Germ X container"
"Context: I came here for lunch with my family and arrived around 10:55am on a Sunday.Seating: When we first arrived there were plenty of open tables and no line. That being said, the staff will ignore you unless you walk up to them and get their attention, so we had to flag down wait staff to get a table. The silver lining is that they did seat us without our entire party being here, which is really nice since most places require the entire party to be here before being seated.Ambiance: Starting around 11:15 (once the restaurant filled up), it had the normal busy and bustling ambiance of your typical dim sum restaurant (minus the carts).Ordering: Ordering is done by marking how many of each dish you wanted off a menu, which was convenient! That being said, it took a long time for everything to come out. We were there for 1.5 hours and dishes were still coming out. We wanted to cancel two of our items since they took too long to come out and we were full. The wait staff only canceled one of them and marked the other as served / received even though we didn't get it. We tried to get them to take it off our bill, but they gave us complimentary orders of sesame balls and char siu bao to make up for it since they said it would be complicated to revise the bill. To be fair our group did order a lot of items. Make sure to double check your bill, especially if you ordered a lot of items or requested to have items removed from your bill if you didn't receive them before getting full.Taro Dumpling - 1/5: It was still cold on the inside and tasted sour, which it shouldn't have. They did try to make it up to us by giving us a complimentary order of pineapple custard buns.Pineapple Custard Buns - 4/5: Taste is pretty good and the had a nice color, but the inside was still doughy.Spicy Pig Ear - 4/5: In this dish, the pig ear pieces are cut in strips rather than thin slices, so the crunchy pieces of cartilage are more noticeable. Overall, the taste is pretty good and has a nice numbing taste / feeling. I do wish the spice / chili was more fragrant though.Shrimp Rice Roll - 5/5: The pieces of shrimp were pretty big and the dish is pretty tasty! It was exactly what we were looking for!Dumpling Items (Siu Mai, Har Gao, Scallop Dumpling, Chiu Chow Dumpling) - 5/5: Absolutely MASSIVE dumplings and all around pretty tasty! Would highly recommend!Chicken Feet - 4/5: These chicken must have been dinosaurs with how big these feet were! The flavor was pretty decent, but the feet themselves were not as soft as we'd like them.Portuguese Egg Tart - 4/5: Flavor was on point, but these were so flaky that they basically disintegrated the moment you picked them up.Egg Yolk Lava Buns - 4/5: Pretty standard, the taste was pretty good, the bun itself was nice an soft.Pork Spare Ribs - 5/5: Fresh out the steamer when it got to our table, tender, and the right amount of spicy.Lobster Yi Mein - 4/5: Tasty lobster and noodles with the right amount of bite / chew! We wish there was more in the dish though.Sesame Balls - 5/5: Tasty, not over cooked, and not too oily!Jasmine Tea - 5/5: Fragrant / fresh tea leaves that didn't need to be replaced the whole time we were there! And we had the tea refilled more times than I can count!Service - 3/5: The wait staff were really diligent about refilling tea and resolved all of our comments about our orders, but it did take some back and forth / haggling. Not to mention needing to flag down staff to get seated at the beginning."
"The dim sum was good. Parking was kinda crowded here. We got a table in the side room which was nice because it was not as loud in the side room. You order off the paper menu, not the push carts here.I would come back again if in the area. It is your classic dim sum spot."
"They have 15+ Dumpling options with different ingredients and proteins, you can order them cooked or frozen and make them later, it's the only local place I can think of with this many dumpling options. It's in the same plaza as Harbor Freight and Bamboo Steamer, another dumpling place is not too far from here.XLB: My kids love these and there are too many good options in this area, they won't eat ones that don't taste good and devoured these easily.Pork Dumpling with Corn: Wanted to try something new and these had well marinated meat and lots of corn in it. Best part was dumpling skin was nice and thin.Yeung Chow Fried Rice: I love this fried rice, I don't know why I wait for Chinese or Vietnamese weddings to have it, it was pretty good from Elite Dumpling. Only thing I wish was more shrimp and BBQ pork."
"Nice Cantonese restaurant serving dim sum, mid week lunch rice plates, and common Cantonese dishes like Lobster, Crab, Shrimp with Walnuts, Chow Fun and Chow Fan.We went on a quiet weekday and the front room was packed. The rear room is open on weekends for larger dim sum crowds or for banquets. Wheelchair access is available through the rear room as there are steps at the main entrance. We had:- Dim Sum (Siu Mai, Pork Riblets, Chicken Feet, and Salt & Pepper Eggplant). First time having Salt & Pepper Eggplant ever! So rare and we liked it! All of the dim sum came out hot from the kitchen.- Singapore Rice Noodles - Canton Restaurant makes a drier version with more curry spice than other restaurants. We like our Singapore noodles wetter but this was ok, just different.- Beef Stew and Tendons in a Clay Pot, moist beef stew with a good amount of soft tendons. Also has Foo Jook in the clay pot.Service was very good, tea constantly filled, servers fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and leftovers packed on your behalf. Many places just hand you a box...Overall, we'll go back. Parking lot is always a plus!"
"We had our wedding reception banquet at Grand Harbor, and it was great. The food was really good and the restaurant was willing to accommodate substitutions. Steven, the manager, was great to work with and had good recommendations for vendors. Service during the reception was very accommodating, especially for our sweetheart table, and helped facilitate a fun, celebratory atmosphere. Thank you Grand Harbor for hosting our wedding reception!"
