"My go to place for quick- on the go dimsum/dumplings/bao/or quick meals!I come here once a month for my cravings. My usual order:- chili wontons: 10/10 MY FAV! The amount of chili oil and the flavor- it's seriously so good. Chefs kiss. You have to try!- beef rolls: 9/10 - super crispy on the outside and packed with flavor inside. Tastes better when eaten in the restaurant vs to go, but nonetheless, this is a must.- cucumber salad: 8/10- They give you a good amount of cucumber, but my favorite is the light sauce on it. It's not overbearing and it's a great refreshing appetizer for your meal.- golden rolls with condensed milk: 9/10 - my boyfriend introduced me to this and I cannot stop getting it. It's a fried roll (hollow inside) but super light and fluffy that comes with condensed milk on the side. What could go wrong?! It is very busy, so I recommend finding a time where it's not a usual lunch/dinner time or placing to go! It's just as good."
"Passed by this place for what feels like my entire life and only getting to try it now. The xiaolongbao here are as flavorful and satisfying as any high end restaurant I've been to. We weren't too hungry so kept to that and their pot stickers, which fried bottoms are coated with sesame seeds. Staff are friendly and it's a small but clean place. Four stars only because we didn't try enough food to give a proper evaluation, but what we did have was super tasty. Definitely returning."
Also known as scallion pancake, made with scallions.

"DELICIOUS!!! We came here today for a Christmas Eve Eve treat with my mum. She had been here before and enjoyed it. She's a super picky Japanese cook, so I trusted her suggestion to come here with my boyfriend. There was not a thing we did not love. My favourites: har gao, honey bbq pork (aka char su), house special chow mein, salt pepper wings, egg custard tart. YUM! We made a reservation which is highly recommended cos it seemed their wait list was a cluster F. They even admit to that being a janky system. This place was packed but now I see why. I'll be returning."
"Tin's Teapot Bistro was the venue of a dinner organized by black badge Elite Li Y. of Hawaii on 08/08/2004. Li was kind enough to extend me an invitation, and I finally got a chance to meet several long time Yelpers in person. This was my first time eating at Tin's since the pandemic. Upon entering, I saw Alice the owner working at the cash register. Really glad to see her still at the helm. The interior appeared to have gone through a slight upgrade. Cleanliness was still excellent. We were seated at a large round table. Our group of 10 elected to eat family style. We each picked a dish, so we ended up with a table full of food. Overall, the quality was quite good. My two favorites were the Salt and Pepper Pork Chop and XO Sauce Seafood Combo. Judging from the absence of leftovers, I'd say the others liked it as well.Service we received was terrific. The staff were friendly and attentive. Many thanks to Li for organizing this dinner. Good food, great company. Definitely a fantastic outing!"
"Solid, no frills, affordable. This is a hole-in-the-wall dumpling shop but surprisingly still has plenty of seating and good service. The food comes out pretty fast and hot! I really like their beef noodle soup. It's good and consistent. They are slightly cheaper than nearby Top Dumpling."
"I can't believe I have not posted a review on this place. I have been going here for years and when I was at SJC, our Chinese flight crews came here for their lunches after arriving from China. Owned and operated by a family that lives in the neighborhood. They no longer have the dim sum carts but the food is just as good. Our favorites are the Shumai, Soup Dumplings, Stuffed Eggplant, Chicken Corn Soup and their specialty is duck. This year we ordered a turkey for Thanksgiving, and we really enjoyed it. Think Peking turkey! Even when crowded the place is good and parking is easy. They have seating for large groups with the lazy susan turntables and enormous round tables. Order at your table with your phone and a QR code or a small device on some of the tables."
"Finallly got to try this place and let me tell you, yes it is pricy BUT the food is delicious and fresh. Ambiance:We asked for outdoors since it was a nice day. It does seem like they have a lot of room indoors and a decent outdoor seating. The staff is great and prompt. Food:- shrimp toast - 5/5 this is a must get trust me. - pork & shrimp sui mai - 5/5 stuffed meaty and juicy- chili pork dumpling - 4/5 good just wish it was spicier- XLB - 5/5 so good- wagyu beef gyoza - 3/5 sadly nothing to special I could skip this- vegan fried rice - 5/5 seasons and really good"
"We had our wedding reception banquet at Grand Harbor, and it was great. The food was really good and the restaurant was willing to accommodate substitutions. Steven, the manager, was great to work with and had good recommendations for vendors. Service during the reception was very accommodating, especially for our sweetheart table, and helped facilitate a fun, celebratory atmosphere. Thank you Grand Harbor for hosting our wedding reception!"
"High quality ingredients, quick service and fantastic ambiance. Whenever we want dim sum, the is our go-to place after trying many in the Bay Area. Non dim sum items are also of the best quality we have tried, depth and intensity of flavor. We always have a great time every time we visit."
"Private room with sliding doors is a plus for large party celebrations. My family and I went here for CNY dragon year dinner. They are efficient and all the entrees were great.Westlake beef soup was spot on, cold appetizer combo platter was yum and my favorite was their steamed fish! I also like their fried softtofu with beef They have pork knuckle, which was something different. They serve dim sum here too. Quick and wonderful service."
"The best restaurant for dim sum in the SF Bay Area! It's been my favorite for years and I return every time I visit. Their dim sum is high quality. Some of my favorites are the purple rice paper shrimp rolls, the salted egg custard lava steamed buns, and the Peking duck - it's literally the best around. The two locations in SF are very spacious. They have private rooms available for large parties and their venue is available for wedding banquets as well. Lots of tables and bright lighting, but don't be fooled, HL Peninsula is so popular that they are always busy, even on weekdays! Be prepared for a wait, especially on busier days like weekends and prime Chinese brunch hours."
"Went here with a couple friends on a Saturday night. Parking was a bit of a hassle, but the restaurant was not crowded and we got seated right away. When we left at 9:00 though, they were full. I loved that the place was well lit. The staff was very friendly and they were also attentive - they kept bringing us more water and checked back a few times after our food was delivered to see if we needed anything. The seaweed salad was very good - I liked the sesame dressing. The spring rolls were delicious - fried just right. The BBQ dumplings were also very good, but the pork were only OK. We ordered fried rice, which I don't think we needed, and we got a dessert - I forget what it was called, but its the balls with sesame seeds. Those were delicious, but larger than the ones you usually get."

OMG I loved this! Food: WOW the soup dumplings were to die for same with the green beans and green onion pancake. I will be back here when I am in town for sure. I think this is my favorite spot for dim sum besides Din tai fungService: service was amazing, there was a miscommunication about the dumplings we ordered and they remade them immediately for us.Ambiance: nothing fancy but perfect for dim sum, it gives hole in the wall but I loved it and it was cle

An update as it's been a while since we haven't been since a Thanksgiving back in 2019.L O C A T I O NBing's Dumpling is located in the same plaza as the first 99 Ranch in Fremont. It's on the corner of Alvarado Blvd and Paseo Padre Parkway. Parking can be difficult. There are a lot of smaller stores as well as the market to compete with parking.I N S I D EThere are several tables that can seat a number of people. Luckily we came and there were tables free so we didn't have to wait. There were more folks who came in when we were close to finishing and they had to wait a bit. M E N UThey had a variety of items to choose from from dumplings to noodles both wet and dry. The menu was basically dim sum style where it's plastic and you can write down/mark up which you want and how many. We were a little shocked with the prices of their dumplings. But I do like that you can do half portions on some of them so if you have a smaller group you can get more items and not have to commit to a whole plate of things. We opted to get the xiaolong bao (4 pieces), potstickers (3 pieces), Shrimp pork and chive dumplings (10), shrimp and pork wonton in chili oil (10) and noodle with pork soybean sauce.~ Potstickers ~It was nice and crisp on the bottom with sesame seeds. Not bad but pretty hefty.~ Shrimp & Pork Wonton in Chili Oil ~I like the flavor of their chili oil which had this hint of peanut or maybe I created it in my head. Nicely wrapped wonton. The added shrimp in the wonton gave it more flavor. But that chili oil...I ended up dunking my potsticker in it. It was a nice spiciness to it with this umami flavor.~ Noodle with Pork in Soybean Paste Sauce ~VERY long noodles so if you need birthday noodles it's quite long! The pork was ground and though flavorful, it was quite salty though I'm sure it's because of the soybean paste. The noodles were quite chewy so if you're not into super chewy noodles, then these may not be for you. But I do like a chew in my noodles but felt like I was definitely chewing for a while.~ Shrimp, Pork, & Chive Dumplings ~Chunky dumplings! We got them boiled. Lots of soup in them and quite flavorful from the shrimp and chives. I did like these a bunch.~ Xiaolong Bao (Pork Soup Dumplings) ~Quite soupy and a bit big. The meat was a bit more minced/grounded for my liking.S E R V I C EVery attentive to the point where when we had a chopstick wrapper, they immediately grabbed it when they were passing. Or if we had a plate that was empty, they grabbed it right away.I don't know how I feel about disposable plates and paper cups but I guess it's a bit more sanitary that way. We did have a situation where we asked to have half of our dumplings be packed away and get the check. They grabbed the plate to pack it themself. Well we got the check and we kindly asked where our dumplings were and I think they accidentally packed and gave it to another table. I was a bit bummed but they were quite apologetic as they were scrambling trying to serve folks as well as figure out what to do with our situation. They ended up giving us that particular dish half off as we had half the order left on the plate. It did take quite some time to get the bill during this situation as I think their 2 servers were kind of behind in serving and doing everything. I think they need maybe one more person to help out as the kitchen was pushing out dishes faster than they can handle. Also wish they could just give us the container to pack away the food so these kinds of issues wouldn't happen.O V E R A L LI would come back for their dumplings and wontons in chili oil for sure. I don't think I'd go back for their pork soup dumplings. They were a bit all over the place for service, but they were very very apologetic when things went awry. Overall not a bad spot of a healthy amount of food with very little wait for a table even when we arrived after noon.

Great service and good food. There are always new dishes and food is fresh. I particularly like their drink selection. You can order cold/hot milk tea or lemon tea in addition to plain hot tea. Service wise they are friendly and tentative. This place is not loud like other asian restaurants. Parking is easy to find and they even have electric car charging stations on site. Dinner selection:Best dishes of the night is steamed crab in truffle sauce and sticky rice. 9/10Peking duck 8/10Squab 8/10Squid stir fry. 8/10Steamed garlicky giant clams 9/10.All dishes come in good portions and right level of salt. For people like me who I don't eat carb and try to lose weight, their dish is not oily and not salty. You can bring your own wine and they did not charge bottle fee.

Final Thoughts: 3.71/5There are about half a handful of restaurants who provide dim sum all day and this is one of them. While dim sum is known to be a morning/afternoon thing, morning times just don't work for our group. Our schedules simply don't align, so I'm very grateful for their decision to provide it all day.Food:1. Shrimp Dumpling (Har Gow): 4.1/5Classic choice for dim sum. The shrimp filling was lovely. Shrimps seemed plump, steamed to perfection, and had a nice texture when you bite down. The wrapper was not my favorite. Texture wise, very sticky and soft as if it wanted to melt away like a corn starch mixture. My preference leans more on a wrapper that holds its form, has some chewiness, and a resistance, but still soft. Flavor - Delightful. This one didn't need any soy sauce because the balance of flavors in the filling did it justice.2. Shrimp Egg Pork Siu Mai: 4.4/5My personal favorite was the siu mai. This one hasn't failed me anywhere yet. Texture wise - lovely. The crunch from the shrimp was quite nice. I enjoyed the ratios of shrimp to pork. Seasonings were nice, as well. Here, I'm tasting soy sauce, with some salt and sugar combined. Fish roe to garnish on top of each one for the enhanced umami flavor and color contrast aesthetics.3. Steamed BBQ Pork Buns: 3.9/5Very fluffy and soft dough. Ratio of filling to dough seemed optimal. There's an aroma to the dough that is missing from these buns. It's a sweet aroma with a hint of the flour and yeast scent. Kind of hard to explain. Flavor was average - Nicely seasoned with what seemed to be soy sauce, oyster sauce, and a hint of sesame oil. The color of the filling looked to be lacking some of the redness that I usually see with other buns. I'm actually not complaining with this one, but just an observation.4. Shrimp Rice Noodle Roll: 3.7/5The rice paper used to make this had a similar texture to the har gow. It was pretty soft, but not as sticky. Definitely held its form a lot better. Not too much of a bite or resistance to it. Ratio of shrimp to rice paper seemed optimal because of how thin the rice paper was. Flavor wise seemed a little bland to me. This was the case with rolls on the bottom layer too even though they were just absorbing all of the soy sauce. The shrimp was lightly seasoned with salt, but I felt like it needed something more.5. Fried Shrimp Ball: 3.4/5 Hmm this one was your average shrimp ball with a crispy exterior from the eggroll wrappers. The size seemed smaller than ones that I am used to, but optimal for this dinner. Dipping sauce also seemed quite "average" - A little sweet, sour, and salty to enhance the flavor of the shrimp ball.6. XO Sauce Stir-Fried Rice Rolls: 2.3/5This dish needs to be paired with something because it was quite underwhelming when it came out. They're what you would expect, but I got tired of this dish after I took a picture of it because it looked like a bowl of dough. The XO sauce is truly the highlight of this dish. It's very umami with a nice balance of saltiness and sweetness. I can't pinpoint the exact flavor, but it seems like a mixture of oyster sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, and hints of seafood. This paired with the spiciness from the jalapenos were a nice touch.---------Quality: Optimal Most items came out piping hot, which is ideal, but please do not scald your mouth like I did. Items like the har gow and siu mai are quite juicy. They are not skimping on the fillings and I appreciate the choice in using certain types of ingredients like the jumbo shrimp. Price: ExpensiveSix items for a total of $66. Average paid between 3 was $22. Not horrible, but not the best either considering a lot of the items were flour, dough, and some shrimp.Service: Fair to OptimalQuite fast service and very friendly. My one note is the order of how the foods were delivered. The Fried Rice Rolls came out last and it looked pretty underwhelming at that time soley due to what it was. I would have preferred for this to come out within a better timeline of my other food items, so that I could enjoy it together with an item that included a protein.Ambiance: TranquilQuiet day in the restaurant today even for us going during rush hours. This may have been related to the rainy and cold weather that day. Somewhat drafty in the restaurant and that may likely be related to how open and spacious the interior is. Very nice and quiet dinner for us, so no complaints here.Location/Parking: FairThe restaurant is right next to the streets, so people drive by it and can easily find it. Not hidden anywhere and seems like an optimal spot. This is another location where I refuse to go alone (mostly at night). Again, it was raining that day, which made visibility a little bit more difficult. The lights were dimmed out, as well, so the parking didn't look like an ideal place to be at. There is a long stretch for this parking lot, so it doesn't seem like parking should be an issue for this area.

This is a nice upscale dim sum place. Definitely pricey and not the most traditional, but it has all the staples. The quality of the food is also tasty - my favorite is the shrimp toast, garlic green beans, and the sesame balls. The restaurant is super cute inside and has seating both inside and outside. The servers are super attentive and the food comes out pretty quick.

A friend of mine was raving about this restaurant so we made a stop the next time we were nearby. The restaurant is massive and can be used for giant parties. We were given a window table and the service was on point. The employees seemed happy to work there. The manager was extremely knowledgeable with the food and we ended up pleased with our choices. Make sure to ask for their Shanghai Dumplings. They were amazing. We will definitely be going back soon but with many more people!!!!

"It's LIKE Koi Palace but with a twist!O R D E R E D * Boneless Hainan Chicken Rice* Cold Chicken Feet* Sour Cabbage with Fish* Ikura dumplings* Scallop sui mai* Lobster shrimp dumplings* Pineapple buns with butter* Hainan chicken rice* Sitcky RiceV E R D I C TKoi Palace Contempo is a delightful twist on the classic Koi Palace experience. While it shares the same high-quality standards, it's not your traditional dim sum spot. In fact, their menu is about 99% different and focuses more on entrees than dim sum!I've only visited for lunch, so I can't speak to their dinner offerings, but here's what I can tell you: If you're planning to come, try to arrive before 12 PM to beat the lunch rush, as it can get busy.Their menu features unique items you won't typically find at other places. Some of my favorites include:* Ikura dumplings* Scallop sui mai* Lobster shrimp dumplings* Pineapple buns with butterThey do have a small selection of dim sum items, but the real highlight here is their extensive menu, offering something for everyone.Bonus points for convenience! There's a large public parking lot right across from the restaurant, so parking is a breeze. If you're looking for a modern Chinese dining experience with creative and unique dishes, Koi Palace Contempo is definitely worth a visit."
"This is my mom's go to dim sum restaurant in town. Even though dishes cost a little quality, and service just can't be beat. It's always busy, so we always get there right around opening. Huge space that can host banquets as well!"
"The service here was great. We had a very helpful and courteous waiter. The food came out quickly and the location is great (across the street from the Ranch 99 with the Daiso and Savers). The ambiance was pleasant with large windows which let in a nice sunlight. With my rating of their dim sum, I am going to compare it to Mayflower, my current top dim sum spot.Shrimp & Chives dumpling =tiedSalty egg yolk dessert bun=Golden Sand Harbor wins because they give more filling. It came out hot and was delicious and creamyJin Dui=Mayflower is my preference as I felt Golden's had a too strong five spice flavorTaro Gok=tied (can somewhere please serve it piping hot-yes I want it to practically burn my mouth)Chinese broccoli- this one goes to MayflowerXiao Long Bao- Mayflower by a landslide...do not order this here at Golden and if you do, don't say I didn't warn you. Also it isn't served with black vinegar but after trying it, even that couldn't save it. No one in my party wanted to finish eating it.Flaky dim sum with pork-Golden Sand Harbor (Mayflower doesn't have this)"
"There aren't a ton of places that we keep coming back to in the city but Dumpling Specialist is one of them. We specifically come for the fan tuan or sticky rice rolls! It's the perfect thing to pick up and enjoy on the go with some piping hot sweet soy milk which they also sell here. The rice is perfectly QQ, the chinese donut inside extremely crunchy, and the sweetness of the pork floss harmonizes so nicely with the pickled veg inside. Don't change a thing! I have not found another place that sells fan tuan in the city so if you know of a place let me know. I've had fancier versions in LA and in the South bay which were also great but seems to be a dearth of places that sell the sticky rice rolls in SF so we keep coming back here and not mad about it. The other thing we enjoy here is the bean curd salad. Highly recommend getting this! The bean curd noodle texture is chef's kiss and pairs beautifully in the sauce with the bites from the cucumber. So good! I could eat a giant bowl of this. Shanghai dumplings are also a fav. They're solid and the price is right. Unfortunately I haven't tried a whole lot from their menu since we stick to the fan tuans here and they're pretty filling with the rice. Service always fast and efficient. Pro tip: Order online before and take the food to the park right across the street called McCoppin Square. They have several picnic tables you can enjoy your meal at as well as a few benches to sit on. Parking can be a bit tough to find in the area though."
"Met up with an old friend for my birthday dim sum lunch. HL Peninsula Pearl took over the space of a large Mexican restaurant right on the water with views of the San Francisco Bay. HL has a large dim sum menu and you order off a check list. The interior is dominated with a huge video wall that has a continuous advertising loop. The restaurant was full but we got seated right away. Along with the traditional Siu Mai, Ha Gao, congee, pork ribs with black bean sauce rice rolls, and chicken feet etc..Some of the stand outs were the deep fried pumpkin with salty duck egg yolk, and bbq pork turnover. The portions are larger than normal. Service was slow, cold and indifferent. But it would not feel normal if the Cantonese service was any other way at a dim sum house. Minus star. Gratuity is added automatically, perhaps that's why. Parking is always tough with the large dim sum houses in the Peninsula. $150 with tip."
"Good value and good service! There aren't too many dim sum places around the area so this becomes our go-to spot.Items we like:- duck rice crepe rolls (my favorite)- pan fried daikon cake with xo sauce- roast duckItems we would pass:- baked BBQ pork buns (overcooked - looked brown instead of golden, will try the steamed BBQ pork buns next time)"
"It's been nearly eight since last review. However I've been back a handful of times for my go to combo + other add on's.Not much has changed. The little shop in this strip mall reminds me of a mom and pop business in Sf's Chinatown where staff speaks Chinese and shipping boxes are everywhere in the entry lobby. Im sure it's organized chaos. I have my favorites and I point on the board but since I don't speak the language, the older Chinese lady becomes louder and near rude when I dont understand. Please can I make a public request to have someone who can speak and understand English as a front person with adequate customer service knowledge. That person can work with rude lady, if needed.Although my favorite items (Baked BBQ pork bun, turnip cake, congee and yellow noodles) have me returning). I'm afraid to recommend this location bc of the minimal English and rude customer service i encountered on 12/28."
"Authentic Chinese food. Portions are larger than other restaurants. Service is great. We have been coming here for years when we lived in Dublin. We always come here when we travel back from Idaho. Soups, fish dishes, 辣子雞, 外婆豆腐, 豆角茄子 are a few of our favorites. I highly recommend."
"Quick take: Best serviceMy family has received the best service every time we dine at HL Milpitas. The dim sum is pretty good. We also dined for dinner in a private room. The service is top notch.Thank you."
"This is the spot for some quick & delicious dimsum in the Tri-City area! Great friendly service and the place offers limited indoor & outdoor seating. I usually order to go and enjoy at home! You honestly can't go wrong with anything on the menu - my usual's include har cow, siumai, crispy glutinous puff, baked pork bun, chicken feet, taro puff, and chili oil wontons! Chicken wings are also great and packing flavor, but the portion size is very small! Check this place out if you're looking for some dim sum! You won't regret it!"
"This was my first time trying Dim Sum Club and the results were mixed. We came for dim sum around lunch on a Saturday and the place was packed. We wrote our name on the list and had to wait almost an hour for a table for 4. The food and service started out really good. These were the items we ordered that were good - shrimp and pork siu mai, Shanghai soup dumplings (6 pieces), pan fried turnip cake, deep fried sesame balls, Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce, and bean curd roll with oyster sauce. These items were not good - all the fried food. 1. salt and pepper tofu - the oil used was old and the tofu was too dark. 2. The salt and pepper squid - the texture of the squid was tough and very hard to chew. Not enjoyable at all. 3. rice noodle roll with shrimp (flavor was good, but the skin was all squished together and falling apart). The vegetarian dumplings and the pan fried vegetable potstickers are the exact same dumpling, but prepared two different ways. One is steamed and one is pan fried. A little misleading as we should have just ordered one. Towards the end of the meal, the service was lacking and it took forever to get and pay the bill. The place was packed and they were probably short staffed. The atmosphere was busy as staff was bustling around and the front area was packed with waiting customers. Overall, the food was mixed, the service was mixed, and the wait was too long."
"Came at 1:30pm on a Friday and it was not busy at all. A lot people coming in and out for takeout orders. We got the Shanghai pan fried soup dumplings, beef pancake roll and Dan Dan noodles. The beef pancake roll was super crispy and packed with cucumbers and beef. It was probably one of the better ones I've had in a while. The Shanghai pan fried dumplings were sooo good. The amount of soup in there, it bursted everywhere with the bite I took. The bottom was perfectly pan fried. Would definitely come back for these two. The Dan Dan noodles were a bit different from what I'm used to. With a bit of the hot sauce, it added more flavor! Would def come back here again. Service was good and there is plenty of seating."
"(Tony Leung voiceover)The vibe is fab dim sum in Cupertino. The service is hun kuai! Grabbed the pencil and checked off our faves. Stir-Fried Clams in Black Bean Sauce. Wow! Black bean sauce is makes everything sooo good!Cha Su Bao. A staple. Hearty!Green Beans. (special order: bu la) Keyi! Steamed Bean Curd Roll. Love the texture!Fun Roll w/ Shrimp! IG supermodels love it. Steamed Spare Ribs. Soul food for me. Steamed Chicken Feet in Black Bean Sauce. Black bean sauce again!Pan Fried Turnip Cake. Pan fried is my preferred culinary technique.Deep Fried Meat Dumplings. Always remind me of footballs. Yummy!Sticky rice in lotus leaf. Soo much fun to unwrap.Salt and Pepper Tofu. Goooood! All delish like your fave relish! Dui!Would order everything again!Woohoo!"
"Unassuming little joint on a side of a residential street. Pam fried bao was tasty and beef noodles were delicious."
"It shouldn't be categorized as a restaurant as it's a take-away place and also sells frozen dumplings to cook at home. The dumplings are homemade as you see them making them but they are not selling cooked-versions. Nowhere to sit and enjoy the food. So, don't come hungry craving fresh dumplings you'll be super sad."
"They have 15+ Dumpling options with different ingredients and proteins, you can order them cooked or frozen and make them later, it's the only local place I can think of with this many dumpling options. It's in the same plaza as Harbor Freight and Bamboo Steamer, another dumpling place is not too far from here.XLB: My kids love these and there are too many good options in this area, they won't eat ones that don't taste good and devoured these easily.Pork Dumpling with Corn: Wanted to try something new and these had well marinated meat and lots of corn in it. Best part was dumpling skin was nice and thin.Yeung Chow Fried Rice: I love this fried rice, I don't know why I wait for Chinese or Vietnamese weddings to have it, it was pretty good from Elite Dumpling. Only thing I wish was more shrimp and BBQ pork."
"It's been waaay too long since Din Ding reopened in Fremont, there was a fire at their old location and the laundromat, hair salon, and Din Ding closed in 2021. The kids afterschool care is close and we've been closely watching their new location being built up from nothing last year. They are finally open and we've already been here 3 times. My wife felt like XLB today and it's super convenient for us to pick the kids up around 5 and come after before it gets crowded. Food quality is still high and as delicious as the original and Union city location.XLB + Fish Dumplings: XLBs were first on the table and came in 2 minutes. They are super popular so they are have their prep and cook time perfected. First time trying the fish dumpling and it's a repeat. The filling is made with cornstarch, wheat flour, and fish so it's more like a solid mass inside and not loose pieces of fish. Fried Rice: We love their "clean" fried rice that isn't brown from soy sauce, very similar to DTF and my wife loves all the leftovers.Chicken Soup with Corn: I would consider this an egg drop soup, barely any corn and chicken but lots of egg and a nice thick texture from cornstarch. The portion size is HUGE and meant for sharing.Cucumber salad + sauteed green beans sprouts: Cucumbers are pickled and the portion size is pretty large, the sauteed greens were good but they were $22!Potstickers: served upside down with an oversized crispy skirt, this one is best enjoyed fresh and not takeout. Our total bill was $130 before tip and it's expensive but we had leftovers of almost everything and it's at least one more meal for us tomorrow."
"I stopped coming to SAGA Kitchen because they served frozen dim sum. Yes, I get you don't have a dim sum cook and prices are higher now. But customers want value for their money, and there's plenty of choices out there. The last time I ordered the potstickers, I got shriveled up dumplings that looked like small gyoza. So don't believe the old pictures Yelpers posted, those days are gone. Time to move on."
"Hop on over for authentic Cantonese food with the fiery flavor of the wok!! 鑊氣! The dishes are worth it.Pro tips: they have the fish fillet clay pot Without bones and with tons of fish! Just state it and ask to make sure - also if you want bean curd strips too. Then we just tried their beef shank in clear broth. Yep! I highly recommend it: clear, savory, sauce and soup go well with rice, and packed full of beef stew! Get it! For carnivores."
"Yum! Fantastic dim sum and Cantonese cuisine. "The last time my family and I came to Golden Sun Palace was on 12/16/2019, right before the beginning of the pandemic. That was a good day because we got to hang out with some close family friends and relatives over dim sum. Exactly five years later to the date, my family and I made our return here for a dim sum outing. The place was pretty quiet when we walked in at noon. One of the staff greeted us and she led us to a table by the windows. The interior was clean, and did not appear to have gone through any renovations since the last time we were here. Our server got us tea while we perused the vast dim sum menu. As soon as she returned, we placed our order. We ended up getting eight items plus beef chow fun. Our food started to arrive in 15 minutes, in stages. The first thing we noticed was that the dim sum items were made in-house instead of premade. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised with the quality. Everything was on point for the most part, and they did not skimp on anything. If I had to nitpick, I would say the beef chow fun was a bit greasy and the har gow skin was somewhat mushy. Service we received was very good. Our server was friendly, polite, and efficient. Prices were very reasonable. Dim sum items ranged from $4.95 to $9.95, and the beef chow fun was one of their daily specials at $11.95. Tea charge was waived. The total, with T/T, was about $77. Based on this experience, we will definitely return! BONUS MATERIAL:- Ample parking on site.- Major credit cards accepted.- Their tip suggestions are based on post-tax amount.- Check out their weekday daily specials, which include noodle/rice dishes, entrée items, and dim sum combos.- No tea charge."

"Quick and friendly service in a casual dining atmosphere. Prices are fair. It's a good place to go if you're craving dim sum for dinner while most restaurants serve dim sum only during lunch hours."
