Mouthwatering Cupcakes in San Jose

It's always a joy to visit Charlie's Cheesecake Works! This weekend I got an original cheesecake and a dozen assorted poppers for my girlfriend's birthday. I received wonderful service. Everything was so fresh and delicious- as always!!

Saw place from a close by parking lot and decided we had to stop in to look at the cupcakes. It was nice to see different flavors that I don't normally see at cupcake places. My friend and I were intrigued by the rose velvet but I ended up getting guava delight and she got the raspberry lemon cooler. We both enjoyed the cupcakes they were super moist and flavorful and cheaper than some of the cupcake chains.I also got a chocolate chip cookie that I really liked.

We drive from far to get our Luisa & Son goodies! The staff take good care of us, giving us even more reason to drive from far, even sometimes sitting patiently in traffic, to satisfy our Luisa & Son Bakeshop cravings. We appreciate how they carefully bag and box up all of our purchases. It's especially nostalgic for my mom who enjoyed their treats back in the days in Manila.Thanks to a customer who highly recommended their turon, as he was picking up a tray he had ordered for a party, we ended up buying turon for ourselves after we had already paid for our purchases. Our family and I devoured each of our big turon pieces in one sitting! Perfectly coated with sugar, perfectly fried, and perfectly ripened bananas! With the first bite of their ensaimada with salted egg, my family and I all had the same reaction of pausing to take a moment to enjoy the delectable bite of melt in your mouth, mix of sweet and salty, flavors. We experienced the same with their bibinka cupcake!When I bit into the brownie, I was in chocolate heaven with the moist brownie and huge chocolate chips. This is one of the best brownies I have ever enjoyed'Every item is organized and easy to locate. We have gone in the morning and in the late afternoon, and their store is clean, products are fresh, and nicely displayed. I highly recommend you stop by when you're in the Milpitas area, to check out their variety of Filipino foods and enjoy their delicious treats!

We came in maybe 30 minutes before closing and the workers were still very happy to help us out and answer any questions we had. We hadn't been here before but were looking for a quick sweet treat, so we got a couple of kid scoops of ice cream, some regular sized cookies, and a NoxBox of 12 small cookies!They serve Marianne's ice cream, so it was expectedly very good and creamy. Their cookies weren't overly sweet but still delicious. For the NoxBox, we got peanut butter, chocolate chip, chocolate chip with sea salt, snickerdoodle, and candy (M&M) cookies. Crowd favorites were the snickerdoodle and candy cookies. They served other pastries as well, such as lemon bars, brownies, and cheesecake poppers, but I'll have to come back again soon to try those out.

The owner is responsive and creative! She was able to design by hand a cute Halloween pug dog cookies for Tiny Paws Pug Rescue's Halloween party. They were loved by the cake walk winners and were the top taken treat. I am looking forward to another event to work with again!

This review is only for their pavs and I'm yet to try their other items. Aurka and hosted a few friends this diwali and wanted to buy 8 packs of pav. Each pack came in a set of 12 and we called before arriving. I was told they have 8 packs in stock and they did. We've been repeatedly eating our pav bhaji left overs and when sauteed with amul butter, their pavs retain their softness and freshness. They are just like at any pav bakery back home and the taste is savory and not sweet as compared to other pavs we've tried from different places.Our friends loved the pavs as well. I was told they were baked the same morning and were a fresh batch. They have cakes and puffs and cookies and we'll make sure to check them out for those too. In the meanwhile, we do have our favorite bakery for pavs.

Best bakery in the Bay Area. Hands down my favorite cannolis. You'll feel like you walked into your Nana's kitchen (especially if you're Italian and/or Sicilian). My grandparents migrated from Florence and Calabria, and no place reminds me more of being in Italy than Charming Kitchen. Great service and communication.

Thank you Girlie for not only delivering a beautiful cake, but doing so very last minute. You took our inspiration photo and totally nailed it. The flavor and cake itself was very very good. Thank you so much
