"Super cute & cozy coffee shop in Downtown Los Gatos. Great service, amazing menu (I got the non caffeinated rose & saffron tea), and great seating. Also, their hours are fantastic - always a plus when a coffee shop stays open in the evenings! Street parking may be difficult but you can park at near by lots scattered across Downtown Los Gatos & walk over."

"Quality of ingredients and freshness is excellent. The broths are amazing. A must visit for any Asian food fan."
"Cute place for a birthday lunch! I met a friend and loved the decor inside and had outdoor dining. Comfort food with tons of options of Chicken and Waffles, Burgers, Fries, etc. I ordered the Bacon and Ham Quiche with a side salad. It was so good with buttery crust with tons of veggies and ham on a pomodoro sauce. My friend got the Croque Monsieur with a fried egg on top with melted cheese and savory ham. I loved the presentation of the food. Our waiter did a great job of answering our questions and bringing out our food quickly. We enjoyed a piece of flan and fruit for my birthday! Prices were average and tons of parking behind the restaurant. I want to go back and try out a cocktail!"
"Arrive at 11:15am for bunch on a Saturday. Service was great, everyone was friendly and helpful. The menu has changed from 2 weeks ago / from what I read online but it didn't matter because there were many options especially if you share. The little gem salad was delicious, fresh, and the presentation was so bright and colorful. I tried a bit me of the fried chicken, it was superb. The French toast and waffle were great as well. Iced matchas with foam topped it all off. I will for sure be back!"

This is a lovely coffee shop with an inviting atmosphere. The interior showcases the work of local artists on the walls, which rotates regularly, presenting something new to brighten up the place each month. Service was great, and there was hardly a wait to order on a Monday afternoon during a holiday weekend. Pastries and cookies can be picked up from the display case, and hot food along with drinks took 5-10 minutes after we ordered. The iced mocha and cardamom rose iced green tea were refreshing, with great flavor. The oatmeal chocolate cookie and banana chocolate chip loaf tasted homemade, with lots of chocolatey goodness mixed in to satisfy my sweet tooth. The potato, egg, green chile, and cheese burrito was a bit on the small side, but stuffed with tasty ingredients and quite filling. We enjoyed our treats in the outdoor patio, and parking was free and easy a block away, near the Los Gatos Town Plaza Park.

My absolute favorite Mexican food!! The service is always exceptional & the food is delicious. Their salsas, burritos, tacos, & drinks are exquisite. I've never had bad food or a bad experience at Castillo's.

Coming on a Monday late lunch, I thought maybe it'd be easier to get a table. Didn't seem like it, still had to wait about 10 minutes to get seated, and it being MLK, maybe that's why. There were plenty of ingredients to choose from. I must have gotten almost 2 pounds of food since my total came to around $29. Though, admittedly, this did serve me for about 3 meals (2 nights of leftovers). The ingredients quality was pretty good, and overall, the place felt clean, though the fact that you had to use the same tongs for every section (including the meat and veggie sections) felt maybe slightly unsanitary, though I'm sure it get boiled out when they prepare the meal. I got the classic bone broth, mild, and it still got me a little sweaty. But generally speaking, it was all really tasty and I liked the variety of ingredients. Service was also fairly quick and courteous.

The Post is a nice spot in downtown Los Altos that combines good food and wonderful nightlife into a one-stop experience. The food is very good. The staff is amazing. The menu is diverse. This spot is best visited with friends, coworkers or family. It's a place to share in an almost festive restaurant environment. The outdoor seating is well-lit and heated -- which is great for our local Bay Area weather year-round. The salmon carbonara is incredible too!Overall, this is a nice spot that can is casual and "fancy" at the same time. It's actually a great value for the price (and area) too. There are plenty of plates below $30 -- but with a quality that would easily exceed that elsewhere. Parking is available in front of the restaurant as well in adjacent public lots.

I have walked by this restaurant so many times and thought "I should try that place out." Well, I finally did. I had dinner with dear old friends this evening, and it was fantastic! The energy in the place was electric, but the tables weren't crammed together so we could still engage in conversation. The cocktails were artisically presented and delicious. The food was super yummy!!! I can't wait to go back again!!!

Our experience was filled with laughs, delicious food, and great drinks!!I highly recommend the burrata pesto app, it is the best starter as well as the meatballs- super shareable. The broccolini and mashed potatoes are my go-to sides here and the chimichurri sauce pairs seamlessly with the chicken and salmon! The woodire margarita is perfect if you like a twist of mezcal with your tequila. We've always had great service at all locations but Gerardo at the Rivermark plaza was exceptional and made our family night that much better. He was more than attentive and very pleasant to be around. Atmosphere is great for family as well business and social gatherings!

Got garlic burps? IYKYK. Well, I'm happy to report back that the Mochi Donut Shop's longanisa is garlicky enough but won't leave you with the infamous longanisa garlic burps all day. We were nearby and placed a pickup order through Grubhub. Hubs got the loco moco silog, I got the longsilog, and for kicks we also got a Korean corndog. Our order was ready in about 20 minutes or less. The shop is a few doors down from the old Tselogs location, so parking can be a bit challenging. We lucked out with a spot two doors down though. This is definitely a grab and go spot. The portions are large, and I think they may have given me an extra longanisa. The rice was a bit more mushy soft than hard like true garlic fried rice, that's my only critique for my dish. I also found it slightly less greasy than other sweet longanisa that I've had. He thought his loco moco silog was solid for a non-Hawaiian spot as well, and an added bonus is they also pair this up with a random piece of spam. I think for convenience though, they may be using a premade burger patty for the loco moco. The Korean corn dog had both the hotdog and the mozzarella, but a bit different than the one I've had at Stix; there's no sugar coating on the outside, and this one has one layer of hot dog and one layer of mozzarella instead of switching off between the two with four layers. It still can satisfy the k-dog craving though, as it's not that easy to find! Overall, the Mochi Donut Shop is a solid spot for silogs, and other snacks. Next time I may try one of their banh mi sandwiches or sisig rice plate. The flavors they had for the mochi donuts that day didn't tickle my fancy, but I'm sure they have some intriguing flavors on rotation. The Mochi Donut shop has something for everyone from boba drinks and mochi donuts to fried chicken, rice plates and sandwiches. 3.5 stars rounded up.

I stop by here with a friend on a warmer day. My first thought was that it was quite warm in here. There's no AC here to keep the temperature down so I began to limit myself to what I want to order as I definitely don't want things like soup that would never cool down. So with that in mind, opted for the gumbo, sandwich, and an appetizer (Chicharrones). The food came out pretty quickly and overall it was a great meal. The chicharrones was fried really well with enough salt and crispy but didn't have that extra oil taste. Probably my favorite out of the three. Definitely no sauce required. The sandwich was good. The tri tip was not extremely chewy which is an issue that I have elsewhere or in general with getting tri tip for such a low price. Personally not really a sandwich girl just cause it's messy and I eat with a fork but hey I'm just a girl with weird habits. But if I enjoyed the sandwich it should mean a lot more right? The gumbo was flavorful. I personally would have added some spice but whatever they had in there was good for those who don't like spicy food. Would come try again but maybe not when it's hot outdoors. I definitely love me some AC.

"Eyes on the RiseThe sister restaurant to Burlingame's Rise Pizzeria, Rise Woodfire is a mom-and-pop done good story. It all began with by a local couple who had a passion for making pies the proper way, using a wood-fired oven. Housed in the former Piatta Italian location, they've renovated it from white tablecloth Italian, to a rustic local neighborhood joint that just happens to sling wood-fired pizzas and also happens to have a killer bar. This The Good:*Reservations via OpenTable *Great service*Not only do they use their wood oven for Pizzas, but they also use it to cook several other items like Prime Rib and Beef Ribs--both of which aren't available until after 4 p.m. Next time, Gadget!*Full bar with local craft brews on-tap*Grass-fed Beef Meatball app was superb. The marinara was delicious and the meatballs were cooked to perfection. *Pizza was delicious. The dough had a nice chew, the ingredients were distributed well, and the crust had a nice char from the oven. They make a damn fine pie. *I don't recall much about the Kazbah bowl other than Carissa enjoyed it. I'd ask her for more details but she's hurrying me along right now so we can eat dinner. (:The Meh:*No outdoor seating for the time being but it looks like it's in the works. *Located in a large outdoor shopping center so there's plenty of parking abound, but this center can get quite busy and turn parking into "quite the tenses." If you don't mind walking, I recommend parking by the library/park. The Ugly:*They don't have a BYOP (Build-Your-Own-Pizza) option on the menu, so if you're building a pie for a picky teenager then you have to pick one of their presets that has the closest toppings and then add and subtract accordingly. But, as it's SoP in her pizza world, taking off an ingredient doesn't save you money but adding them on will cost you. And adding on a few things can inflate the price of the pizza well-over 50% very quickly. Conclusion: Tasty pies in a great ambiance. I'll be back for the Prime Rib! :)"
"I love that this Mochi Donut Shop has soo many food options. They have mochi donuts, Korean corn dogs (one even covered in hot cheetos!), filipino rice plates, filipino banh mis, and more! I also love their flavored tots. Their mochi donuts and corn dogs never disappoint and the staff is always friendly!"
"Very creative restaurant serving a variety of cuisines! American, Chinese, Indian, Irish, Mexican and more! It's all fused in this restaurant cafe. I wanted to order more than I did just to taste everything. All items in my order were made with good quality ingredients and care. Very delicious! I ordered the Siu Mai dumplings, Tandoori Chicken Wings and the 5-spice Pork Belly Fried Rice. All were flavorful according to the entree's cuisine. The Siu Mai dumplings are generous accompanied with soy dipping sauce and lots of scallions, this is a hearty treat. The Tandoori Chicken Wings were char grilled and juicy, bigger than average wings, cooked perfectly. The rice is really good and the 5-spice Pork Belly chunks I loved. The egg on top is cooked beautifully, lovely presentation. Cute cafe in San Mateo. Definitely will return to try some other entrees. The burgers look really good and juicy, too!Give them a try! Unique menu with cuisine for all tastes!"
"I did not know what to think of Chicken Paddy. I just noticed it randomly pop up on Doordash and decided to order it because everything sounded really good. I went to the ghost kitchen located in North San Jose by the airport to pick up my order. I have been in love ever since. I have tried 3 of their entrees and each one has been absolutely fantastic. The high price is totally worth it because the portions are big and the food is practically gourmet. You get what you paid for and you'll have enough for lunch and dinner.I have tried, the chicken tika masala, the mushroom chicken and the soy garlic chicken. Let me first start off by saying, the Korean cream corn is probably the best corn I ever had. I kept on saying wow for every bite. I think I will order a side or 2 of them tomorrow because I can't stop thinking about it. All of the sauces for each dish has so much flavor and all of the vegetables are sauteed with some kind of spice or sauce and has so much flavor to them. I look forward to trying more of the bowls and the drinks as well. Thank you Chicken Paddy for coming into my life and hopefully you can stay around for a long time!FYI, you can order it through Uber Eats and 949rufffood.com, the ghost kitchen."
"Didn't taste the same or same quality as the one in Oakland. A bit disappointed. I will be going back to the original one for sure."
"The patio in back with a glass of wine and warm focaccia bread out of the oven with trout deviled eggs was my SF sanctuary"
