"Had the pleasure to try this place after touring the Google Visitor Experience Cafe! It's about a 6 minute drive from there. Lots of parking spots. We arrived around 12:30 pm and we were sat immediately. Not that many people at first, but it was packed when we left. A homey intimate diner with personality and class. There was a miscommunication with my order because I ordered the chicken fried steak entree but my waiter interpreted it as the side order. Not much a problem but I waited about 10 more minutes until my full order was fulfilled with the accompanying sides of French roll, cole slaw, and French fries. It was very filling that's for sure. The gravy on the steak wasn't gritty but had a smooth texture and creamy savory taste that made the meat easier to chew on and enhanced the flavor. The cole slaw was okay since I wished it had more seasoning. The French fries were a bit dry so I had to season it with lots of salt and pepper. The French roll was toasted to perfection with a good amount of butter on top. Great brunch/breakfast spot in Mountain View!"

I ordered the humdinger, which has a generous helping of mushrooms on top. My boyfriend and I were craving the same burger so the only difference was his was medium and mine was medium rare. Both were so juicy. As soon as we bit in, our hands were splashed.The house salad was yummy with a light and balanced dressing that is neither too sweet nor too acidic. Quite large for the price!The service and ambiance are what you expect from a casual burger spot. They're quick and kind; the chairs and cups are plastic. "Decided to try a new breakfast spot and found Amy's Grill on Yelp. It's in the same shopping center as Fitness 19, Sonic, and Grocery Outlet. There's plenty of parking available since it's in a big shopping center. They have about 5-7 tables outside in their patio and about 6-8 tables inside the small restaurant. I went on a Saturday morning around 10 am and was greeted and seated instantly. I got the Veggie Omelette with Cheese which comes with bell peppers, onions, spinach, and mushrooms. It comes with hash browns or hot fries which are like country potatoes and toast. I got the hash browns and after tasting the hot fries I wish I would've ordered those as they had lemon pepper seasoning and were really crispy. The omelette plate was a perfect serving for myself, but compared to other restaurants it was smaller so if you are super hungry it might not be enough. I did wish they had hot sauce besides tapatío that paired with the omelette to give it a bit more taste. My sister-in-law liked her strawberry banana waffle which looked delicious. The staff were really nice and attentive the entire time and the food arrived pretty fast. If you want a normal breakfast I would recommend Amy's. On a beautiful day it would be nice to sit outside and enjoy breakfast. I will definitely be returning in the future and would recommend to friends and family's. Check them out!"

My husband's egg Louis cayenne, which is crab cake Benedict order, was bland, savorless. My huevos rancheros were blah. It contains chicken, pretty odd protein choice and unfortunately with bo flavor at all. It is a loud ambiance and not that crowded for a Saturday morning. I did like the lighting and the booth seats are comfy. Will we come again? NO, says the husband who didn't drink his burnt flavored vanilla latte."

I want to say a year ago for Halloween special, but I could be wrong if that wasn't this restaurant. Nevertheless, with my lovely annoying food allergy to monos sodium glucosamine/MSG, the only thing the server could actually offer me was a grilled piece of chicken. Lol.Family the bacon burger with onion rings as well as the pastrami quesadilla and my niece got a macaroni and cheese! She's incredibly picky when it comes to macaroni and cheese, so I was really happy. She was able to eat it and it wasn't too creamy/cheesy for her. Lol , no pun intended!Overall, the server was incredibly nice when we first were seated with a lady yet something happened after she got our drink order and she switched tables yet she never made mention of this to us and we had a very responsible, attentive gentleman service next, but he had a very soft spoken voice, so it was hard to hear him over the trance/Vegas style music blaring above our heads. Lol.Overall, I'm sure this place is a good hangout spot to watch a game and get a drink. Happy hour deals. I was really happy to see a full sit down restaurant instead of a fast food chain adjacent to the hotel.My first impression was that it looks very well established (old) but still in decent shape. We arrived at 3pm Sunday so I wasn't surprised (and glad) that it wasn't too busy. It's quite large, with separate dining rooms for booths and tables, bar side with smaller stand-up and stool tables, and a private event room. Tons of window seats all around.We were quickly greeted and seated with menus. Not too long after our server began to attend to us. Water came out immediately with our heavy cutlery in full, substantial napkins. We ordered a pan of nachos for the 3 of us to begin. They came out fairly quickly and we placed our entree orders. The condiments included 5 Beaver brand mustards and horse radish. I saw Tabasco included on other tables so not sure why it's not always provided. Our mains came soon after (original burger with fries; Philly cheese steak -beef with fries; and another Philly cheese steak -beef with Caesar salad.) Choice of sides is included and they were fries, kale salad, Caesar salad, Cole slaw, BBQ potato chips, potato salad and for an additional $2, sweet potato fries.The nachos themselves were pretty oily, but well loaded with guacamole, sour cream, black beans, tomatoes, red and green onions, pickled jalapeños,cilantro, and some cheese. The 3 of us ate maybe half, and then only 1 of us finished his burger. We were given containers and cutlery, napkins and a bag for the rest of our sandwiches and nachos. We stuck with water and one coffee, which I'm glad I skipped as it tasted like hotel coffee and came with those tiny creamers you I need 50 of to get the amount I take. The bread on our sandwiches was awesome, hot and soft but hefty enough to handle all the fillings. The fries had seasoned salt instead of plain which I didn't think an improvement, but the fries themselves were very good, fresh, crispy outside and fluffy inside. The Caesar salad interestingly comes with Kalamata olives, good quality but it makes you wonder if you're not eating a Greek salad instead.We'd have loved to try some dessert but we were too full. I was especially intrigued by a new offering called Sour Puss Cake which looked like a lemon cake with possibly raspberry jam between layers. The case is sort of odd in that it looks like an old diner appliance right at the front entrance, whereas the rest of the place is definitely above diner level decor. The huge booth we had was so comfy and cozy, and the warm colours and wood finishings are like a lounge. Our server was so on the ball, she automatically noticed the hotel key holder and added the 10% discount without our mentioning it. She was that perfect combination of attentive yet never hovering uncomfortably.I'm pretty sure that even though we're only here a few days and away sight seeing the whole time, we'll be back before we head home."

I thought it might be a mushy greasy mess but the cornbread stayed together and paired really well with the pulled pork. We also got one of their specials which had braised short ribs with mashed potatoes. All around very satisfying. Their porch is dog friendly so we got to bring our pooch and even though we dressed warm enough to not need one, there were heat lamps. Service was just the right amount of attentive and very quick/kind. At the end we received a little envelope and if come back within a timeframe with it we can claim some prize. Genius marketing really, I wanna know so badly what's in that envelope that I'm just gonna have to come back.They also rock an all country playlist which takes me back to my country days!! Yeehaw!"
