Brothers Cafe

This was my first time trying this new cafe/restaurant in downtown Millbrae and certainly won't be my last. There is a large parking lot and street parking available.Inside is well lit, spacious, and clean. You order first, then you're given a number and can choose to sit where you want. The menu is quite vast with a lot of different options to pick from. We ordered Huevos Rancheros and St. Patty's (corned beef hash) Benedict. Both dishes were tasty. I like that the corned beef hash was house made and it was delicious. For me, the unexpected star of the dish was the hash browns that were crisped to perfection!! These might've been the best hash browns I've ever had. Servers were friendly and refilled our water. Given that the food is locally sourced, prices are reasonable for the portions. I want to come back to try many other dishes!

Came here to try it out since I typically like going to Copenhagen in Burlingame. This place is decent but Copenhagen is still on top for meGot one of their egg white scrambles and a melt. Got a good amount of eggs in the scramble so you can think of it as more than a 3 egg dish.

Strange service organization, but it works!nice food.coffee was cold and I did not get a single offer for a coffee refill, SAD.

Went here earlier today for breakfast- met a friend I have not seen in forever before she flew out of SFO. First, there are 3 Brothers Cafe locations. I did not know this and we both ended up at different locations! I choose the Millbrae location since there is a parking lot (they're in a small mall), she was at the Grand Avenue location, which does not have a private parking lot, so came over to the Millbrae one.Pros- very friendly and helpful staff. The cafe is simple and clean, the bathroom had a clean scent to it, which I noticed as I opened the door to wash my hands. Food was good, I had 'The Standard,' with an addition of spinach. It was big, ate about 1/2 of it. My friend had the Santorini (healthier!) , and we split 1/2 of a kids French toast, that was very tasty!Cons- can't think of any. We were able to sit for a couple of hours, Brothers was a great spot for us to catch up!

Was excited to see a new spot open up near my home. And anxious to try it out. Took me a few weeks to finally make my way here but boy was it worth the wait! It's now my go to spot Sunday's after church!The food here is amazing! My favorite is the chicken and waffles but I also really enjoy the hangover, the tuna melt, the Swedish pancakes and oh yea! The fries Friendly service, great location with plenty of parking, and most importantly, consistency! Every time I come the food is always hot and delicious no matter what I order. They have comfortable booth seating and the place is decorated so clean and nice. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the Millbrae area!

First time trying this cafe. Very easy to order. There was a small line at the counter but that gave us time to see their huge menus on the wall. You order, pay first and then you will seated by their staff. Cafe itself is very bright and sunny. We ordered Mediterranean plate, Bloody Mary and buttermilk crispy chicken sandwich. My grilled chicken in the plate was so delicious that before I could say something, my husband was raving about his buttermilk chicken sandwich. Food is fresh and hot. We had to wait for it to cool it down to take first bite. Mediterranean plate has marinated chicken breast, cilantro-jalapeno humus, tzatziki and tabouli with pita bread. Delicious. Menu says Chicken sandwich is homemade and it is homemade for sure. Best we ever had. Cooked with spicy batter. Has mayo, Dijon mustard and some pickles. We really enjoyed our lunch experience and will be back for more. Staff is happy and polite. Great first experience!!

Very efficiently run restaurant. Walk in, order your food at the counter, wait to be seated; drinks arrive quickly and food soon after. I got the avocado rancheros, a unique and delicious menu item, and the fresh carrot and orange juice. Crispy hashbrowns. The restaurant is clean a with a relaxed feel. Recommend.

Visited with a party of 7 and had no issues getting a table. Order at the cashier, which is great since you don't have to fuss with splitting the bill after. The food came crazy fast. I was the first to order. The food was delivered 2 mins after the last person ordered and seated. Ordered the Grand Special scramble with English muffin. Although nothing fancy, was cooked perfectly and tasty. The dish wasn't salty which is great for those sensitive to sodium. Hash browns were crispy. The amount was just right and I devoured everything. Only downer was the house coffee. Unlimited refills, however, I barely finished the one cup due to the burnt taste.Will definitely return for the other scrambles. Great option for a quick, hearty breakfast.

I've been to Brothers a couple times now. The service is wonderful and the employees are sweet. Today, I ordered the chilaquiles since it's a weekend special. It wasn't very good. It was just a bunch of red onions and chips. The avocado that came with it was sparse. I wouldn't order that again. I'm not sure if this time I just ordered the wrong item, but I'm a little disappointed.

Got the Grilled Chicken sandwich and the All American breakfast sandwich. Both were delicious and definitely recommending getting one of their fresh juices.
