Came for the ube pancakes and was amazed that this place is so much more. My fiance and I stopped in for a Sunday morning brunch. I ordered the ube pancakes and the chicken chorizo burrito. The ube pancakes came with a coconut syrup. Delish. The chicken chorizo burrito was yummy and came with a salsa dipping sauce. This could be better with some orange sauce but this isn't quite la Victoria. I still give this place 5 stars because the burrito was everything I wanted and I can never get enough of sauces. Another thing that got my attention was the delightful menu. This was a newspaper displaying the wide variety of brunch masterpieces. Next time I visit I want to try the coconut coffee and one of the other breakfast burritos and maybe the pandan waffle.

I've been seeing rave reviews about Breaking Dawn Brunch for the past year and finally had the chance to try it for a girls' brunch. Ambiance-wise, the decor is cute, and the chairs are comfy, but they've packed in way too many tables. It felt like we were dining with the tables next to us rather than beside them. Also, the acoustics are terrible, at 10:30am the space was at 1/3 capacity and it was soooo loud. They have nothing to absorb noise and it wasn't the music or the DJ (we couldn't even tell what song was playing--just felt the bass). Service was a mixed bag--it felt rushed and inattentive. Water refills were frequent, but getting anyone's attention for anything else? Nearly impossible. It seemed like only one person was actually taking orders while the rest of the staff were just running food. Now, onto the food: The banh xeo tacos were gas--the nuoc cham sauce was perfect. Pro tip: break them at the fold and eat them tostada-style for a cleaner bite. For my main, I got the Fo Sizzle with beef (essentially Bò Né but done shaking beef-style). While flavorful, it was waaay too salty. My dining partner had the RBF--the fried chicken was well-marinated (flavor was reminiscent of chicken karaage), but also way too salty. We each took a bite and didn't go back for a second. However, the waffle with the café sữa đá syrup? Absolutely delicious.Overall, it's a fun, trendy spot--something LG definitely needs--but the experience was hit or miss. Worth checking out for the vibes, but bring earplugs and maybe a salt tolerance.

Located in downtown Los Gatos. Went on a Sunday and due to the farmer's market the parking lots were full and had to search for parking for a while.Even though we had a reservation, had to wait for 30 min to get a table. The place setting is very cute. The utensils were golden in color. Even the glasses had golden bottom and drinking water felt luxurious. The menu is in printed like a newspaper. Our party ordered various drinks. Everyone liked their drinks.Got the coconut coffee which was Vietnamese coffee topped with coconut ice cream. Didn't really taste the coconut. But the coffee was very tasty.Ordered the chicken egg rolls and tofu egg rolls for the table. The shrimp spring roll was very fresh. The Banh Xeo Tacos had 3 tacos in 1 order. The taco shell was very oily but the filling was tasty with grilled pork and shrimp. The Noods please was very tastyAvocado toast was the sweeter side but very yummyThe RBF was pandas waffle with fried chicken. It came with coffee syrup. Order takes a while to come. Service is slow. The place was packed. Also they had a live DJ to play music.

Love Breaking Dawn Brunch's take on an Asian Fusion brunch! This spot uses to have crazy long wait times, but now it's a little easier to get into. The interior is really nice--from their chairs and tables, to a gorgeous bar. Service was great, our server was attentive and even brought us a little coat rack next to our table for our coats and bags. For appetizers, we got the Banh Xeo Tacos and the Pho Poutine that everyone talks about! I enjoyed the Banh Xeo Tacos that had grilled pork, shrimp, lettuce, sprouts, mint, and pickled onions in a crunchy crepe and served with Vietnamese vinaigrette on the side. They were a little difficult to eat though. The crepe is very crunchy, so after taking your first bite, it pretty much cracks apart. I ended up having to eat it with a fork instead. No wonder our server brought us extra napkins for these! The Pho Poutine really tastes like pho! The beef short rib was very tender, and the pho gravy really gave off those pho flavors. The cheese curds were very melty, and the cilantro and onions gave it some nice texture and flavor to the fries. I'm a sucker for anything pandan, so when I saw the RBF (Resting Brunch Face) with the pandan waffle, I knew I had to try it! On top of the waffle comes three boneless pieces of fried chicken and berries with cafe sua da syrup on the side. Get a little bit of each thing in one bite, and it was really tasty!Prices are a little on the higher end, but it's about what you'd expect for a trendy Bay Area brunch spot like this. Can't wait to come back to try some of their other menu items!

Cute place for Vietnamese-fusion brunch! They have a DJ playing music and will give birthday shoutouts so it's a fun place to celebrate. They have a variety of cocktails, coffees, and other liquor but my friends and I opted for a few coffees which were strong and yummy (but sweet). I recommend the salted crema coffee! Food recommendations: Pho Poutine: One of my favorite dishes that we ordered. Pho gravy with beef short ribs and melted cheese over fries? Must try! Flapjacks: Pancakes with butter, more butter, and extra butter on the side. And maple syrup. Literally the softest, most buttery pancakes I've ever had. 10/10! I love pancakes so I'd come back just for this. FO Sizzzle: Pretty good! Comes with a baguette and two eggs (missing the pate, iykyk). We chose beef as our protein and it was very tender. Crispy Pork Belly Fried Rice: The pork belly was really crispy which I loved. However, it's supposed to come with truffle unagi sauce, which I didn't really taste. Dishes I wouldn't get again: Banh Xeo Tacos: Generous portion (two large tacos per order, enough for 3-4 people to share), but the texture was off. The crepe "shell" wasn't crispy and was a bit too chewy, and the grilled pork was just okay. Shrimp Coconut Ceviche: Too sweet for my taste, and I'm not a fan of coconut in ceviche. It was light on the shrimp and too heavy on cucumbers, bell peppers, and onions. I'd pass on this next time. Overall, a fun spot with unique brunch dishes. Looking forward to visiting again in the future!

Super cute place for brunch!! I had a reservation on a Saturday morning and they had a DJ???? The ambiance is so cute; very modern and clean!! Plenty of parking all over plus it's located in DT Los Gatos so you can walk off all that food afterwards!!!My friends and I got the pho poutine, RBF and pork belly fried rice which was all actually delicious. I love the unique concept of the pho poutine. The waiter recommended us to pair it with the chin-su sauce! I would say this is the best viet fusion brunch I had so far in South Bay. My friend got the coffee which was on the sweeter side but it was yummy. Service was amazing, super attentive and the server made sure we were having a good experience. Overall a fun spot, would be back again in the future!

I went here with two of my girlies and we had so much fun! First off, the inside was super well decorated, so much floral on the walls and the DJ at the booth was a fun surprise!!! This place really cares for the customer experience and it really shows. We got the pho poutine, which is amazinggggg blend of traditional pho flavors and potato wedges. I loved the soft texture and it was super flavorful. It felt like a unique experience having pho flavors in this texture! The fried chicken and pandan waffles were delicious as well; I was amazed at the coffee sauce they provided with the dish to pour on top! I didn't think this dish was too special though. The vietnamese coffee was super flavorful, although I don't like strong and super sweet coffee. The fried rice hit the spot, although it wasn't too memorable. I would go here again to try different foods and experience the cozy vibes again!

I recently visited Breaking Dawn Brunch to catch up with friends, and I absolutely loved the vibes the moment I walked in. The place has such a lively atmosphere, complete with a DJ spinning all the hits in the corner. It really set the tone for a fun and memorable experience. The menu is a creative take on Vietnamese fusion with a twist, and I'll admit, I was a little skeptical at first. But wow, did this place exceed my expectations! We ordered the Pho Poutine, and while I was hesitant at first, it turned out to be a delicious surprise. It had all the classic pho flavors I love, though it was a bit heavy but that's pretty much what you'd expect with poutine, right? The real star of the show, though, was the Ube Pancakes. From the stunning presentation to the incredible flavors, this dish completely blew me away. It had the perfect amount of sweetness, and every bite was pure bliss. We also tried the Coconut Coffee, which was good, though I wished the coconut flavor was a bit stronger. That said, it was still a nice, sweet treat that complemented our meal well.Overall, I absolutely loved Breaking Dawn Brunch. The food, the atmosphere, and the energy made for an unforgettable experience. I can't wait to go back and try more from their menu! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a unique and delicious brunch experience.

Ordered: Banh Xeo Taocs, Shrimp Ceviche, and RBFAmbiance: i think the place is super cute, it's lively, there's music playing and when it is busy there is a lot of chattering going on. A perfect brunch place in my opinion. Food: Banh Xeo tacos: YUM. One of my favorite dishes we got. I love banh Xeo on its own and i think this restaurant did a great job keeping the traditional Vietnamese flavors and adding a twist of their own. The shell was crispy, the veggies were crunchy, and the shrimp and meat paired perfectly creating the best bites. It is a little messy i will admit that, but still really good. Shrimp Ceviche: this was probably my favorite dish that i got there. I loved how fresh the ceviche tasted, the coconut milk flavor stood out but did not over power and it was just a refreshing dish to have compared to all the other dishes that were mostly fried. RBF: Pandan waffles. Fried chicken. Cafe Sua Da syrup. I was thrown off by the syrup but surprisingly it fit so well with the dish. What I really like about this restaurant is that they're able to capture the flavors of a specific item. Like when you see cafe sua da (coffee) syrup, you're going to get that exact flavor and that amazes me. I hate how far this place is for me, but I think it's worth the drive for amazing food.

A friend suggested we meet here. This is a cool spot. We came for brunch on a Sunday and had reservations. They had a DJ there. A lot of good drinks on the menu. I had the salted crema iced coffee. That was a treat! I ordered the pho poutine fries and it was yummy. I love their drink menu-- I was going to try the coconut coffee but they told me it came with a scoop of ice cream! A little bit too early in the morning for that. Nice and fun place to hang out. They don't rush you either, you can take your time.
