When I feel like treating myself, this is my go to. No lines around the corner or Instagram influencers looking for promo codes. Just awesome pastries. Don't leave without a couple sweet and savory selections. And the drip coffee is outstanding. I'll have to upload a photo later, as I'm always focused on enjoying my order - not capturing it for someone else :). The current photo taken in Paris (07/24)

A fantastic bakery that also keeps treats for your doggos!I'm not a scone person but I do absolutely adore all the scones I've had from here! The mushroom scone is to die for - I love a savory pastry and especially one with mushrooms. Their pear cardamom scone is also quite good; really, you can't go wrong as all of them have the same lovely buttery, crumbly base scone. I always love a ham & cheese croissant and the one here is no exception. It is a bit on the heftier side - with a bechamel type of sauce on top (think B Patisserie adjacent if you've been there). Highly recommend, it's a bit of the opposite direction from the rest of the downtown Burlingame area, but it's well worth the trip.

Absolutely fantastic bakery with the most delectable treats. We've tried different variations of scones...stonefruit, apple, chocolate, savory.. plus a couple of lovely brioche buns as well as a pain au chocolat/chocolatine and a butter croissant. All are delicious. I can't even pick a favorite. Definetly worth visiting again and again.. and at some point we will try their cookies as well. They were packing up boxes for a custom order (it seemed) when I was last visiting and who wouldn't like to receive such a lovely gift. (hint hint nudge nudge.. feel free to send me cookies)I always stop by a bit late in the day for me to get a coffee unfortunately, (I have my caffeine first thing in the morning) but one of these days I'm going to try their ginger turmeric latte as well.Really nice folks and I'm happy to support this local bakery.

I cannot stop getting these scones. And as a person that is not big on scones that is saying something. The sweet ones out my fave the chocolate chip ones have the perfect amount of sweet and crispiness to them. The savory ones have more of a biscuit flavor that is also delicious. The quality of ingredients is unmatched. The staff is very friendly and seem to care about their customers a lot.

Parking is scarce but you should be able to find something within a block or so. There are lots of little tables and umbrellas for shade. Convenient location for me of late, so I've come about four times in the past month. I've tried a double-baked croissant, apricot scone, pancetta scone, plum scone, ham & cheese croissant, salmon scone, and chocolate chip scone. I thought the salmon scone was the best and a more unique offering. It is pretty salty so you'll need to balance it out with a coffee or some other drink. For my taste, I'd like the scones slightly less dense. It's always good to have options in the area so I'm sure I'll be back. One really nice thing I see here is a real sense of community despite the odd little street that it's on. There are lots of regulars interacting with staff with a lot of camaraderie and the staff are friendly in general.

For a place that's a runner up in the Bay Area croissant contest, I've pretty much only come here for their scones. I was introduced to this spot few months ago, trying new flavors every other week or so. The only thing that's stopping me is the calories and my will for a summer body. If those were never an issue, I'd had one of each of their pastries by now. Savory scones, sweet scones, non-scone pastries, actual croissants, croissant based pastries, bread loaves, take home scones kit. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of it. My go to has been any of their jalapeno scones, currently they have a corn jalapeno one and it is top notch. I'm not even a scones person and their scones are not dry or crumbly, it's addicting. The shop isn't much of a cafe, but a window store front with a bunch of tables and chairs set up right on the curbside. They had a whole screen up for streaming the Euro cup when France was playing. The owners are French, I mean, the shop is named Bonjour. Duh.

Cute little store front with croissants that were a finalist in the best croissant competition in SF! The cashier saw our little pup and came out with treats for her so extra point for that! The croissants were flaky and fresh but we did come a bit late so they only had one croissant and one crookie left! They had a lot of options for pastries and quite a few scones including some seasonal ones that I'll be back to try. The parking is unfortunately street parking nearby and can be a bit hard to find.

This is a little hole in the wall bakery that is quite easy to miss if you aren't looking for it . There wasn't that much parking nearby so I ended up parking a few blocks over . I went at 1pm ish, and they were at the last few pieces of scones for some flavors . I got the bacon scallion scone, and the chocolate chip scone . The bacon scallion scone was delicious , super fresh , buttery and tasted soo savory . I devoured it . The chocolate chip scone was a great contrast, buttery with chunks of chocolate but not super sweet . They are about $5-$6 each, I guess that's the running price for pastries nowadays . Come here and try a delish buttery scone .

Super cute hole in the wall, literally hehe they only have outdoor seating & a window where you order from. The lady that took my order was friendly & offered my dog a treat so extra points for that. No indoor seating from what I could tell but luckily it was a beautiful day out today so I enjoyed sitting out front. They have lots of goodies to choose from. We also got a ham & cheese croissant, not pictured here that is worth coming back for. I'll definitely be back. The coffee was good, the pastries even better. This is a hidden gem, worth going out of the way for

Bonjour Bakehouse has the best scones in town- honestly, the best I've ever had! They are perfectly baked, with great texture and amazing flavor. On top of that, the staff is super friendly! If you're in Burlingame, this place is a must-visit for pastry lovers!
