Great coffee place in the heart of Saratoga. Very busy with great service. I went for an iced latte. Love it. They really do it fresh. Much different than any others I have been to.Recommend it as there's plenty of seats both inside and outside.

Big basin offers tasty pastries and coffee in an older cottage style cafe environment. Though the staff did mixup our orders they were friendly and brought out our drinks shortly afterwards. Theres sufficient seating for those looking to study or enjoy an afternoon treat.

The quiche and rhubarb pie were delicious for an afternoon snack on a cool day. The service was very fast and prompt. There are good options for indoor and outdoor seating. However, if you have a pet, there are ample places to sit outside. Great place for a quick snack and coffee.

Consistently cozy! I'd been to Big Basin Cafe a few times before, and loved the warm, homey atmosphere. On a Saturday afternoon, they were pretty busy, but we were able to order at the counter right away. I got a Blueberry Lavender Latte and Avocado Toast. The Blueberry Lavender Latte was incredible - great flavors, perfect for a rainy day. The Avocado Toast was very average, and came with a mountain of sprouts on top, so I ended up picking some off. It was a decent snack, but not particularly filling. Since we were still hungry, my roommate and I got a Mushroom Quiche and slice of Blueberry Pie to share. The Mushroom Quiche was pretty good (cheesy, nice texture), but the Blueberry Pie was easily the highlight. It wasn't overly sweetened, the blueberry filling was delicious, and it went great with whipped cream. They also had a massive selection of pies, so I would love to try more in the future. Would return!

1. Coffee - FANTASTIC! Some of the best coffee I've had in the area. 2. Service - Always super friendly cashiers/baristas. 3. Desserts - GOD AWFUL!!!! Today was the worst desserts we've had in a long time. BBC, we recommend getting your sweets from a better bakery for your customers!!! My husband who never turns down a chocolate chip cookie took 1 bite and said it tasted like Play-Doh. I didn't believe him so I tried a bite...yes, it tasted like Play-Doh. I know as kids some ate Play-Doh in elementary school but we didn't lol. The cookie was TERRIBLE. They come from a bakery in Seaside called Lupita's Bakery. NO. JUST NO. We also shared a slice of "Lemon" Poppyseed Bundt Cake - tasted like chemical & the yellow color of the cake was not natural. It didn't taste like there was any real lemon flavor in the cake, just lemon extract with yellow food coloring. So gross. We kept trying to get through eating it because it was such a waste of money but we had to stop. Go for the coffee & skip the desserts!!!

Paraphrasing a google review: "vibes immaculate, food and service meh"We stopped here for a linner/snack after exploring Saratoga. I appreciate a cafe that's open till 8! The inside gives perfect local coffee house vibes, and there's lots of shaded outdoor seating if the weather is good. My friend and I were craving quiche so I ordered the pesto potato and she ordered the broccoli cheddar. When our plates came out, I took a bite and realized they had mislabeled the plates and I was eating her broccoli cheddar. But when we swapped plates, my quiche was definitely not pesto potato, it was more like a Greek salad style. When I checked with the staff, they said my slice matched the dish labeled pesto potato. I'm pretty sure the cook mislabeled the dish becuase what I had was definitely not pesto potato. I ate the quiche because I was starving and it was ok. It's good that I don't have any food allergies else that mix up could have been bad. I don't necessarily fault the poor teenagers staffing the place, but the management should be more careful of food operations. My second friend reported that his chicken caprese sandwich and brownies were good.So overall, come here for the vibes and convenience but don't expect amazing quality. Logistics:- indoor and outdoor seating- street parking available as well as a "behind the main strip" lot a block down - more vegetarian quiche options than vegetarian sandwich options

Came here because of the cafe is situated in such an ideal location. Seating is plentiful inside and out (with benches and umbrellas). Service is very so so.Ordered an iced coffee and slice of the veggie quiche. Neither was bad, nor great.Would return, but not in a rush to do so.

It is a busy coffee shop in Saratoga. Seems good atmosphere. Ordered Americano but it was so light like water.
