Bert's Stadium Sports Bar

If you have a dog don't bring it here the owner does not care about animals I got bit and the owner did not care I should have sued it is not a good place don't waste your money at a place that is dangerous for you and your dog I asked the owner a couple times it seemed she does not care just the money it's not a safe place for you or your dog this place been shut down before for druga sad place I think that you close the place and open up in and out.

I love this bar. The bartenders are all pros, even when it's super busy. Bert, the owner, has really turned this place around from when it was the Blue Bonnet. It's a safe place to go, even when my husband isn't with me. Great beer and liquor selection, with new drinks coming in often.

Nice beer selection here. Prices for draft were on the higher side for me. Came here on a Wednesday with my buddy to blow some steam and shoot pool. John was a cool bartender. Will definitely be back. This is a nice looking dive bar.

I took the same approach as a male did with restrooms when it came to my parking decision...Here to leave a review not on the food, but the experience I had. I parked in holy blue spot. The moment I got out, a dirty blonde female worker told me I wasn't allowed to park there. I asked "why". She responded with "You aren't allowed to park there since it's for handicapped". I replied "my car has it...I had **** surgeries"She then said, "you can't park on the lines". Ok, valid, the lines are lighted by the sun and there were 3 signs for one spot, 1 vertical, 2 horizontal. I took the same approach as a male did with restrooms when it came to my parking decision. I chose the one where multiple could park in this. I told it was due to the misleading signs and she informed me that she'd tell the owner. When I got out the car the second time, she profusely apologize to me and honestly, I would not have left a review as I would understand why people would say that kind of stuff. But let's be clear on the deeper level, she judged me for what I looked like and later apologized for her misjudgment.At this point, the parking lot had no more parking spaces. I went to the taco truck that was parked in the parking lot, and after I got my order, I came back and I saw a car parked behind me. I asked surrounding people at the taco truck if that car was there and everyone said, "no"... it wasn't theirs. So the next place that most likely had someone parked behind my car and two others, including a sedan and a truck, must be inside the bar, the same place where the lady told me not to park there. As I enter the bar, I noticed loud music and middle-aged Americans. A different female and male bartender saw me waiting there and didn't do anything until they complete their previous task. Fine, I'll wait, that's reasonable. When the man was free, he asked me what I needed. I told him there was a car outside that was parked behind my car. He says "that's my car" and just rushes outside without saying anything else. I follow him outside. Now he's outside behind my car and before he goes in, he says " I wasn't trying to block you. I was trying to block that truck, that truck isn't supposed to be there." Whatever, you did something illegal, ok. He moves out and then I exit. But something miraculous happened, he parked at the handicap spot. So which means he lied to me and he never intended to block that truck. He just needed a place to park and he didn't wanna walk. Tldr; 'Murcia at its *finest*

Really interesting place! A group of friends and I decided to play some pool and were looking for a place to play. Definitely not the vibe I expected, some scream music playing and all that--it was a bit intense for me and a few of us. We mainly came here for pool. Make sure to bring cash/quarters. Also 2 drink minimum at the bar. We had a lot of fun playing and were able to secure a spot. Relatively cheap per game, as some places charge much more. Small parking lot, so parking might be difficult at times.

I recently saw a negative post on this site about this incredible bar. I was taken aback because my experience with this bar for the last 3 years has been amazing. First, Bert, the owner is an amazing Lady. She goes out of her way to greet not only the regulars but most importantly when she's at her establishment she goes out of her way to greet all and I mean every new customer that comes in. I've seen it happen she'll even sit with them and get to know them. Bert brings a family atmosphere to her establishment. I would also like to add all of her activities she has going from hosting pool leagues to a corn hole league. One of my personal favorites she hosts holiday theme parties. Which are my favorite. When was the last time a Neighborhood bar host's Christmas Gala. That's right you to dress to the Nines. So funLastly, if you're looking for a SOLID family neighborhood bar with great the best bartenders and I definitely need to mention these Gems, DeDe a legend for over 4 decades of Bar Area Bars, John the legend with a contagious laugh. He should do Stand Up. My Rey. He's a Mcgiver don't play him in pool, Jessica who's got a smile to die for, Bela is the sweetest gal you'll meet, Roxy who fills in periodically and my Junnie. This guy served in our Armed Forces. In closing, definitely try The Stadium out. 5 'S All The Way!!!

great place to hangout with your friend. Friendly staff and patrons that make you feel welcome. They have 3 pool tables and loads of TVs to watch the games on.Never had a bad experience yet in 3 years I've been coming here.

I always go to Bert's to get a good drink and enjoy the environment Dee Dee and roxane are GREAT bartenders always welcoming and good conversation the owner Bert gots a heart of gold love coming to this bar best place to have a drink in Sunnyvale

Great service, and very welcoming bar. Between the bartenders and the customers everyone is so friendly. They even have a taco truck outside that's amazing. Definitely recommend going in for a cold one. Their big on sports so there's always many TVs on with whatever sport you like.

I know there's a bad review on here about someone on here saying they got bit by a dog and made an issue about it. Bobby got 86'd for stealing my cell phone and he's slandering the bar and owner because he's upset that he got caught. Please don't believe the words he put on here, we're an animal loving bar and he's just being dishonest.
