Alhambra Irish House

Megan, our server was AMAZING!! We popped in for a quick drink and she had us laughing and enjoying ourselves so much that we stayed for three hours, played Trivia, and ate a full dinner :) thank you, Megan!! Our favorite was the bread pudding- it was to DIE for and we hope they offer it again!

I was here for a holiday line dancing singles mixer event. I don't usually visit Redwood City. Parking is pretty awful. I ended up parking near In-n-Out in the residential area which was several blocks away from this venue.I was greeted the friendly host and got seated at the bar. The staff is friendly, and I ended up getting a glass of pinot noir while I waited for the organizer and my friend to show up. This place looks fun and many people were having a good time there. The bathroom is clean. The line dancing was interesting, but I don't think line dancing is my cup of tea. I usually like salsa and bachata dancing, but it was still nice to try. One of the staff said that they have different happenings on each night such as trivia, live band karaoke, and more, which seems fun.

Artichoke dip was delish! Their French fries and ranch were so good! Cod pasta was drySteak with mushrooms onions and fries were a bit salty but very tastyMushroom risotto was okay- lacking flavor Bread pudding had chocolate chips which is a great touch but I have had better Irish traditional dinner - turkey ham with mash was good. Slider were okay- kinda dryWe had reservations and made sure food arrived at a certain time- and was delayed 30 mins. Great customer service! Our server was really nice and helpful- trying his best to serve a large party. The place started to get packed throughout the night. Hosting other parties. Bartenders were really nice! Street parking. Nice and clean bathroom

It was Friday night after all, so why not?! I believe after walking around and yelping spots, we decided to stop by Alhambra House.I can't recall which cocktail I named in our order, but my group does everything family style. Even beverages, so I tried them all. If memory serves, they were all pretty good. Not as spirit forward as I like. Amazing as always! Service exceptional, as always. Tried the fried chicken sandwich for the first time--I even added the chipotle aioli, it still felt a bit dry. Drank loads of Shirley Temples. For dessert, I had the bailey's bread pudding with ice cream. Amazing presentation, delicious. Still obsessed. Football game was on. Chill vibes

Cancelled my door dash order at 6 pm claiming to be closed with no explanation. 6pm on a Saturday night. WTH is wrong with this place. They have lost a customer forever.

I always love coming here I've started coming on the days that there's line dancing and always have so much fun and feel so welcomed. All of the employees are sweethearts including the owner. I recommend this place definitely if you want to go out with some friends or meet some new ones! Yummy food as well:)

We have been going to Alhambra for years. Their food is original and comforting, and the space is so special -- historic, hip, and cozy. We especially love going there to eat dinner while enjoying live music. It's exactly what you want in a local bar and restaurant.We also recently had our wedding dinner at Alhambra and it could not have been more perfect. Truly a highlight of our celebrations. Erika and the crew there were more than easy to work with. They went above and beyond for us at an extremely reasonable price. Our guests loved the food (Karen was great at accommodating picky eaters and kids). And I can't say whether the restaurant looks better in person or photos!

5 stars for an Irish pub atmosphere. Waitress was welcoming and willing to offer her twocents when asked for a favorite dish. Great recommendation, a special of the restaurant, the sausage fried hard boiled eggs. They had a band playing during our Friday night drop in that played all the hits I'd want to hear.they did bring us the wrong drink complete opposite of what we ordered but we ordered martinis in an Irish pub so what more could we expect. The margaritas they did serve us though were delicious and I can see how they mix up the names.
