Aldo's Ristorante & Bar

I went to dine in with my boyfriend, and although we arrived a few minutes before the kitchen closed, we were still seated. Our waiter, Alfonso, was super kind and never made us feel rushed.He noticed I was struggling to eat (stress non-eater here) and could tell I was going through something. Throughout the meal, he reminded me to take my time and made small, thoughtful gestures that brightened my mood. Alfonso is truly the best, and I'll definitely be returning and requesting him as my waiter. Thank you for making such a great impression!

Came here for a work dinner recently and I enjoyed the food. Feels like a great place to celebrate a birthday or any sort of special day. They have tables to accommodate both big and small groups. Service was friendly and pretty attentive. The starter bread was super soft and fresh. The bruschetta was super flavorful and the bread was crispy. I wish I had gotten to eat a few more pieces.I ordered Penne Al Salmone Affumicato, a smoked salmon penne pasta, as my main dish. Their menu says that there's an additional charge for shared entrees, so fyi in case anyone is thinking of doing that. It was a LOT of pasta. I ate maybe like half of the plate and took the rest home. The salmon was a bit too salty for my liking, but the pasta and creamy sauce countered the salt quite nicely. For dessert, I got a tiramisu - also a huge piece. It was absolutely delicious! The cream was very fluffy and you could slightly taste an alcohol flavor. Definitely not healthy to eat the whole thing by myself, but I did anyway with no regrets.

I like this place.Veal parmesan and chicken parmesan are always available despite not being on the menu.For an Italian restaurant I don't get western wagon wheels hanging from ceiling?The food was good, the place was clean and the staff is always friendly.

Great service, great food, and menu offers variety. We were seated right away. Bread was provided (complimentary). We were ready to order the second our drinks were brought to the table. We ordered the bruschetta to start, pollo marsala, and tortellini all tommaso. The bruschetta was fresh, acidic, tart... it complemented olive oil and basil quite well. The freshly ground black pepper was the icing on the cake. The bread was not soggy nor was it too crispy. My main dish was so creamy and rich that it was almost too good to eat. I rarely order tortellini that sometimes I forget how whimsically tasty it can be. My dish came w/ soup or salad. I chose insalata di cesare. Could use some more dressing but that's just my opinion. It was crunchy and creamy. Ronnie enjoyed the marsala. Not a crumb left behind. I'd like to try their gnocchi next.

Wow just wow I planned my graduation dinner of 20 people here on 12/20, Aldo and Barbara gave exceptional hospitality they met my needs communication was clear They were happy to answer any questions or concerns leading to my dinner, service by Many was perfect my whole party LOVED their food from the lobster ravioli, lasagna, my favorite everyone's favorite that THEY missed out on THE CLAM CHOWDER!

We had a wonderful family birthday dinner here at Aldo's. Service was fantastic, portions were plentiful and the ambiance was comfortable with a semi upscale vibe. We came as a large party of nine and everyone in the party loved our dishes and a couple people ordered things off the menu such as Chicken Parmesan and Spaghetti and Meatballs. Some highlights were the calamari app and all the pastas were delicious, and a couple folks in the party ordered the salmon special which was also very good. Aldo's also offers complimentary bread with olive oil/balsamic vinegar which is great to munch on with your pasta dish. The desserts were very, very good!! The crepe, gelato and tiramisu were outstanding. They even sang happy birthday to the birthday girl. It was an excellent dinner!!

I went to Aldo's more than 10 years ago and it was nice. So when my friend recommended it recently, I thought that would be great. Well, it was great!! I ordered the chicken marsala and it was the best that I have ever had. They put fresh bread and olive oil with balsamic vinegar on the table and the bread was so soft and fresh. It was delightful. The wine list was very good. Our server was friendly and attentive, yet did not interrupt our meal. Love that. The restaurant must've been recently renovated, and the roses on the table with white tablecloth were a nice touch. so two days later, I am going back again because I want my daughter-in-law to try the chicken marsala

This is such a great family restaurant. And I can even type after 2-3 drinks. Every dish was awesome.And not because of the alcohol but that was pretty good too

Great food,bar,and service. Especially the veal. One of the last real Italian restaurants in the valley. Also nice to be able to park in Los Gatos

We had a Birthday celebration for 8 this past weekend. Everyone who attended shared their wonderful thoughts on how great the total experience at Aldo's was. Everyone enjoyed mixed drinks from the bar, great appetizers and stated how wonderfully flavorful their main course was.I was very impressed with the complete wait staff, everyone employee, waiter or otherwise was always available and very tentative to any needs. Seldom did we need to ask for anything, each staff member knew exactly what to do and when to do it, this was true fine service!! We will be back!!
