Now, if that is not a pretty happy face, I don't know what is..except the recipient.
The old fashion was about done when Tony came out from behind the bar and asked if we wanted the rest smoked? Viola! Pretty and tasty.
And there we are! Savoring the desserts.

It is a mixed bag in service for breakfast. I went one morning, and there was only one person working. The other morning I went, there were two people working. The first morning I went, food took a bit longer as there were quite a few patrons that were being served for breakfast, and there was only one person working everything. I only ate half of my meal as I couldn't eat the remaining portion due to the potatoes being carbs. The second morning I went, I had a better experience where I asked to switch out the potatoes as I couldn't eat carbs/sugars. The person working that morning was very thoughtful in helping me think of an alternative, and suggested avocado with my omelette, which worked perfectly for my diet. My food came quickly and I enjoyed my omelette thorougly with the avocado. Service was faster the second morning as they had extra staff. There's a nice view of the water nearby the windows but it is quite sunny in the morning.

This is our second time staying at this hotel. We enjoyed our first stay and decided to stay here again this past weekend. The lounge was always so packed, so on Saturday night it we decided to dine here as a family. It was a pretty slow Saturday night. And no DJ tonight. So the ambiance was dim, a bit loud but not as loud as it would have been if there was a DJ. Regardless it was nice. We ordered: Crab cake $15Clam chowder $15Sopa de Mariscos $34Mandarin $18white blend by Caymus $20The crab cake (one piece) was good, the clam chowder was also really good. It was in a very generous bowl. The Mariscos was ok, kind of diluted with water, which overpowered the flavor a bit. Regardless we finished everything. At the end we decided to charge the meal to our room. We didn't stay for the final receipt because our 7 month old was a bit fussy. When we got home our hotel receipt was emailed to us and our meal came out to be $230. I was a bit confused because the meal before tax was $102 and 18% was $18.36. Also with tax maybe give or take $130.When we called to ask, they said the server accidentally overcharged us. On what? How do you tip yourself $100? Anyway, they fixed it but please take your receipt. Overall everything was ok, but the experience just annoyed us a bit.

It's a nice bar/restaurant with a nice view of the bay. Too bad the bar is not facing the bay though, but no big deal. The reason for the 3-star is because some of the bar staff that could be much better attending to patrons. I ordered one drink while I sat at the bar and was never checked on once for the 45+ minute duration of my stay. The bar wasn't even that busy either. One other time, me and my friend was sitting at a table near the bar but not at the bar. No one came to tend to us for over 10 minutes. I went up there to try and grab the bartender's attention. I was standing only a few feet from him and I knows he knew I was standing next to him. I didn't want to be rude and say anything because he was staring at the screen. After literally almost 5 minutes of standing there, the bartender didn't even acknowledge me while staring at the screen. It wasn't until another bartender came by that she asked if I needed help. This bar has a lot of potential due to its location right next to the water, but they need to seriously hire more staff or the current staff needs to be a little more attentive.

The prices were I bit higher than I'm used to for breakfast, but when we dined at night the drinks were so yummy. The appetizers we got were really good. This is a hidden gem right across from a water front in Oyster point. The fried calamari was cooked perfectly. I had a mule made with St Germain liqueur made by Edgar was really good. Service was awesome. I will be coming back here!

Only going to provide a review of my experience with the Waterfront Lounge Cafe...not the hotel or even the food (didn't get that far)Searched on Open Table for a brunch location for Mother's Day and came across The AC Hotel Waterfront Lounge as an option for breakfast so booked a reservation for 4.Arrived today (Mother's Day) a few minutes before our 0830am reservation time. Walked past the front desk and went to the restaurant and saw what looked like a low-key cafe for hotel guests...super simple furnishings and ambiance. Told a gentleman at the entrance I had reservations and he half laughed and said "Im not the reservation guy...sit down wherever you want". There was maybe 8 people in an area that could seat 60 people. He dropped a few menus in front of us. We looked around and thought this must be the wrong place...we made a reservation for this? Asked the waiter if brunch was offered he quickly said no. I went to the hotel front desk to ask if there was another AC Hotel in SSF and they said no..I couldn't imagine that this was it? How in the world could this place:1: End up on Open Table2: Require a reservation on Open Table3: Not offer an upped service/offering on Mother's Day (like a simple Mimosa!?)I profusely apologized to my wife and guests and we walked out..without any plans for Mother's Day. AC Hotel...you really need to up your game on Mother's Day or get off of Open Table..it's embarrassing and misleading.

This review is mainly for the in house restaurant inside the hotel. We pleasantly dined here with my family and to our surprise we had a great time. Nice ambiance. Service was good. We got the st Germaine smash mule and it was refreshing. Their crab cake was also delish. Brussels however could've been more crispy. But it was still good. Got the mushroom risotto which was on the highly garlic side which I love but it kinda lacked in other flavor. Ciopinno was very good and we got two of em. Price is hotel price but all in all relative. If ur staying here don't skip this place out
