Fantastic Atmosphere and Delicious FoodWe were seated at the bar very quickly, even though we didn't have any reservations. The atmosphere was great, and we enjoyed a couple of house special cocktails. We also shared some slices of the pulled pork and pepperoni pizzas, which were absolutely delicious, and the portions were huge!

So disappointed, 2nd time ordering. Last time, the Meat-lover was delish and food pickup was good. This time, the Smog...it had very sparse toppings, mostly cheese. I arrived exactly on time for pickup and the pizza was barely warm. Sad, I was looking forward to another great pizza.

The fun guy forno was Sicilian style so while it was similar with a little more sauce and less cheese. This one has vegan cheese and it was actually surprisingly good! The thick rectangular crust was crunchy, warm, and chewy deliciousness!The wings were a little too saucy for me but I really liked the salad. I always need some veggies with my pizza!They also have a small seating area outside so you can get some pizza and whatever else you want and chow down.

Got a chance to checkout out @8miledetroitpizza for this weekend and here's what I tried from their menu.1. BBQ chicken wings- Absolute yumminess. I've always been a big fan of their BBQ wings. It's soo juicy, tender. Loved the dip as well. Must try from their menu.2. Detroit Veggie Pizza - That was such a filling pizza loaded with mushrooms, roasted red bell peppers, banana peppers, caramelized onions and black olives. Easily fills 2-3 people.3. Silician Three cheese red top pizza with chicken topping - This one could have been better. Loved the flavors but texture of the pizza didn't meet my expectations. The crust was soo thick and gave me the feeling of burger. Had this been done, it would've been my top favorite.

I don't know exactly what was wrong with it, but it didn't have much flavor and even after putting it in the toaster oven to revive it, the cheese was so hard. It would be good to be more explicit about not having sauce- that would have helped the Greek pie have more flavor. The crust was good but I am not looking forward to eating the rest of it, something I have rarely said about pizza.

They serve thick rectangular pies that were inspired by the famous pizzerias in Detroit. Their crusts have these melted cheese and so crunchy! Pickup and delivery available in San Jose, San Francisco, and Oakland.What we got: BBQ Chicken, Motown Meat Lover, Cheese Breadsticks

This is located at a cloud kitchen, so you can order online, check in on the tablets when you arrive, and pick up your order once it is ready! They specialize in Detroit-style pizza and I LOVE it! I have always been a huge of thick crusts and this blew my mind. It was my first time trying it and it was literally sooo good! The crust is so thick and fluffy and chewy but also has a crispy cheese layer on the outside. Definitely get this over the Sicilian style crust if you like your crust :-) I ordered Firehouse Special that allows you to choose a ranch or honey drizzle! I tried the honey and it was a nice sweet contrast to the salty flavors of the pepperoni and bacon. My favorite was the Fun Guy Forno though because of the mushrooms! The Jalapeño Popper Breadsticks were basically elevated breadsticks and honestly were so good and cheesy and definitely worth it! I would recommend popping this in the oven for a bit to make it extra cheesy.I'm going to ask for more of their spicy buffalo ranch next time because I couldn't stop dipping everything in it even though it was meant for the wings!Their pizzas are huge and filling and perfect for sharing with friends and family (or as leftovers for the next few days).

Best Detroit style pizza that I've tried yet in San Jose. Little out of the way but worth it

I give this place a 2/5 star rating.Overly long wait times. Not welcoming store front. Pizza quality was very greasy almost un eatable. Within minutes the box was filled of grease. I'd much rather go to little ceaser pizza than this place.
