840 Wine Bar & Cocktail Lounge

I hosted an event at 840 Wine Bar and highly recommend them for anyone else looking for an event venue. From start to finish, the general manager, Gil, was very attentive and went above and beyond to help. His team was also really solid. Great drink selection, food, and service. We definitely hope to be back!

it is crazy that this is called a wine bar. this is a dive bar. I like dive bars, but it's absolutely not what I was going for considering the name of the place. first, you walk in and the decor shows plenty of pictures of wine... but if you look at the bar, there are dozens of EMPTY bottles of tequila on display--like a college frat house. they were playing extremely loud music (the place is tiny), with the dj taking requests (in the form of cash) for songs that completely changed the vibe. my friends and I were some of the only women in there, thinking we'd have a nice, chill glass of wine. there was no wine to be seen, and the patrons of the place stared us down as we entered. we left after a few minutes.

Ok. So, to call itself a wine bar, I'm thinking maybe classy. NO. This is more of a dive bar. And then the menu. We were given the QR code for the menu. I ordered a gimlet off of the menu and the bartender, nice as she was, didn't know what a gimlet was. So then I ordered a dirty martini, and it came out tea-colored and I swear they put tapatio in it! And my boyfriend ordered a caipirinha, and it was a TALL glass of lime juice and syrup.All in all, $30 bucks and 30 minutes wasted. The bartender was really nice though, but we were clearly in the wrong place.

A nice quiet place for a glass of wine and some conversation. Easy to park nearby and friendly bartenders!

Get your act together it's Silicon Valley , wouldn't let me in due to my Patagonia quarter zip shorts & running shoes with a party of 10+ , nobu treats their guests with respect regardless of how they dress.

Tried this cute little wine bar out yesterday with my girl. I literally drove past it 3 times until I finally actually saw the place. It was kind of hidden... But it's next to the liquor store.We were late for happy hour which is 4-7 pm but it's ok because their wine prices aren't so pricey I ordered a Cabernet while my friend got a Riesling. We also ordered the garlic bread and the bruschetta. Both really really good choices ! Both had my taste buds poppin! I do want to come back to try the tacos The food took a while to come out.... But totally worth the wait! The wine was amazing as well!! I can see myself coming back.

Wine bar... definitely not in the evening it becomes something from the east side of the tracks. The owner runs the bar with very limited English... be prepared to be confused about everything including the ambiance.

I went to the bar and ordered my wine, I went back to the bar to get my second glass of wine. when I asked for my check I thought it was a little expensive but I didn't question. I received via email a digital receipt where I saw that they automatically added a 20% gratuity but I was never told that would happen. These guys are a little crooked and I would not suggest patronizing them I know it's grounds alone.

Cool place attracting hot local girls. Nice patio extension in nearby parking lot. Best place to go out since covid.

We have had the best time!!!Stacey is the best bartender she makes the best shots by far!!!!!!!!!!!!We also had the tvs for the warriors game who was awesome
