7 Bamboo Lounge

This is THE place for open karaoke in the South Bay. The KJs are awesome and there is a great community here. I try come as often as I can!

Love the vibe and ambiance at 7 Bamboo. Has great vibes and love that they do karaoke during the week. The bartender was friendly and was willing to make drinks that were not on the menu. It was clean and plenty of space for seating. Parking was easy to find as it was during the week. Highly recommend if you want to enjoy a low key night with karaoke.

I visited on a Friday night and the queue was for 2 hours. This would be okay if there were more tables/seats. Also if the drinks were good. I got the yuzu martini and it was terrible, like straight rubbing alcohol. Tried the singapore sling off my friend and while it was drinkable, the alcohol they used also tasted rubbish underneath. It's a cute place with a good concept. I also think it has an older crowd. Maybe I'll come back in 10 years and enjoy it.

This is quickly becoming my favourite bar in the area!Super chill vibes, everyone out just having the time of their lives, karaoke, drinks and bartenders who are super awesome! I dunno what you really want more in a bar, but those are pretty freaking awesome to me!I've been here several times already, and once I wore a crop top jacket without a shirt on, and the bouncer let me in, but later I was told to zip it up, because apparently it was a little too risque for the venue. I laughed it off, cuz it was funny having him tell me, "I'm sorry man, I didn't know you weren't wearing a shirt!" HAAAA!!Like I would ever wear a shirt.

Great place! Love the vibes here; the staff is really nice and even though it's a small place, they allow their patrons to re-enter after taking a nice breather outside. They don't have food (I don't think) but that's not what I went for. I went for drinks and singing. The drinks are killer (the We Be Jammin' is my fav) and they have a convenient water station. Also, the app they use for signing up for songs works well. One of my favorite places to go with my friends.

Come here if you want great vibes. You can sing karaoke on stage for free with a good song selection to choose from. 7 Bamboo's hosts help keep the show rolling and the audience is very encouraging. There is first come, first serve seating. There are open places to stand, dance, and converse with your friends and the nice people here.

Randomly stumbled onto 7 bamboo on wiggie Wednesday! Which was the BEST time I've had in a long time! The staff were all so friendly and fun! I mean a wig and a shot for $5 !??? Count me in! Everyone in the bar was so fun and friendly, more importantly drinks were STRONG. Trying to add 7 bamboo onto my rotation!

Wish I could've experienced 7 bamboo but unfortunately the security, "Ryan", turned our group away before we could step inside because he claims someone in our group was "too drunk" because he misstepped while walking towards the entrance, yet security "Ryan" allowed back in multiples of drunk girls that were stumbling and screaming while walking back in. Make it make sense? Does this establishment just pick and choose who is allowed in? Do we need to look a certain way to make it in? It's interesting. Security here is racist, hostile and rude.Our group ended up going to Jacks bar the block down the street and had a great time and received great customer service.

Haven't been at this bar in over a year and it was shitty last time because a young bouncer accused of us using the restroom outside in the back (check your fucking cameras). Decided to stop by again and should have known it was a bad idea. The bouncers here are some of most insecure pieces of inbred shit. Bullshit rules are enforced. You can be denied entry or kicked out for not giving your motorcycle helmets to them to hold. Bouncer couldn't express if liability and accountability is included if he held the helmet. Manager couldn't come out (there wasn't one anyways). Don't come here spending your hard earned money on drinks since the bouncers are inbred. The bartender was also getting involved for unknown reasons (good thing you intelligently stood back). Please don't come here for a good night out because the bouncer will run their mouth and enforce bullshit rules to feel empowered.
