4.5 stars rounded up. Zero& is one of the top boba places in the city for me. The boba are a good size and texture. The drinks taste good consistently. The flavors aren't super artificial tasting. Granted I don't drink caffeine so I can't speak to the quality of their milk teas. Their crème brûlée milk with boba is decadent. The taro ube drink is good, but I'd rather just have taro by itself. I wonder if there is a way to customize this? I like that there are caffeine-free and dairy-free options. I tried using their app a while back due to a promise of a free drink on my google pixel phone and it was crap. The app wasn't designed for google pixels I guess and the add item to order button was hidden, literally could not access it. My partner's oneplus phone had no problem lol. Go figure. There is only a little bit of seating near the window ledge as I remember it. It would be nice if they added more seating somehow. It's nice to be able to take a break from walking all over the city. Offering tourists a respite would be nice too. Unfortunately, they don't really have employees as cashiers anymore if you have questions. There's just a couple screens you order from. This place needs a deep clean! and a paint refresh! I don't know why the owners/designers would go would a stark white aesthetic if they aren't going to keep it clean.

Great place for delicious tea and ube croissant. Service was great: they were already out of ube croissants and they make it for us fresh. Highly recommend to checkout this place.

Minimal, aesthetic and milk tea drinks?? Say less. The shop carries fruit and milk teas, non-caffeinated options, coffee, baked goods and Hanabi cakes. All their fruit drinks looked amazing and I love that there are alternative milk options and transparency about sugar in their drinks. After looking over the menu, I honed in on the grape tea drink they had.Two Grapeful - 15+ Fresh Grapes, Jasmine Green Tea, Grape Jelly, Sea Salt Cheese Foam. This drink was a nice balance of refreshing, sweet and the sea salt foam added a nice contrast. You can either mix the foam into the blended drink or wait until the end to have a more creamy drink. I appreciated the fact that the drink was mostly grape and was topped with even more grapes. The sweetness was perfect and not cloyingly sweet or artificial tasting.Hanabi Chocolate Sea Salt Oreo Mini Box - Cocoa Chiffon made with Barry Callebaut Cocoa, Sea Salt Oreo Cream, Oreo Crumbs and Valrhona Dark Chocolate Crunchy Pearls. I mean, come on ... the cake was so light. Decadent without being too indulgent and the toppings gave a nice textural crunch. Really glad for this portion size, bc it was really hard to stop eating it.Self-service on the ipads here. Drinks can take some time to come out, but didn't take too long on this visit, 5-10 mins. Price is on par with shops that use premium ingredients in their drinks. No inside seating but there is an outside bench or take your drinks to-go.

I've been curious about this no sugar boba spot and it didn't disappoint. The milk tea with zero sugar tasted great. The strawberry slush drink was for my son, and he says it's definitely in the top 3 of strawberry slush drinks he's ever tried. The store isn't busy and you order from a kiosk. On the sticker of the drink it says they will make it again if it's not to your liking.

ZERO& has excellent drinks, but even at light / 30% sweetness was a too sweet. Their boba had the perfect amount of chewiness. The hardest part of ZERO& must be the parking, tough that may not be a surprise being in SF.Upon walking in, you may order at the self-service kiosk. While my drink was easy, my friend wanted their coconut drink, which was not sold out. It was not possible to order despite it being available, and the staff were unhelpful in ordering the drink, so he had to pick another one. At the time of our visit, another staff member was on their phone, and the experience felt a tad unwelcoming between the lack of clarity with the coconut drink and communication between staff.

I love hot drinks so when I saw there was hot taro on the menu, I had to try it! Kiddo got the very popular THAI ME UP. Ordering was through a kiosk so there was no contact or service at all. Place was small so it's a basic pick and go. I noticed they have a Korean bagel on the menu but unfortunately it was sold out. There was a good amount of Oreo bits in the Thai Me Up drink. Sweetness was just right. Boba was good. Standard drink. The hot taro was disappointing because they put it in a plastic cup -- big no no! Don't put hot drinks in a plastic cup!! Why can't they use coffee cups?? Also for a hot drink, it was lukewarm -- also bad. Even though I ordered zero sweetness, it still tasted sweet. There wasn't enough real taro taste and after awhile it just tasted like powdered taro flavored milk. This drink was a big disappointment.Order took about 5minutes to make. Total $12.90 Metered parking all around. A little tricky to find parking.

Coco Mango is so fresh! It's like a smoothie of mango and coconut milk. Super fruity and tastes refreshing. I got the cane sugar "less sweet" option Staff made it fresh and blended it in the back. Also a really good value add on with the 50 cent boba pearls. Pearls had nice chew texture Great spot in Hayes for more fruit-forward drinks or boba

The drinks really blew my mind and exceeded my expectation, and the service was really fast. It was awesome.- Two Grapeful: super refreshing grape-flavored drink (with icee-like consistency). And at the bottom of my drink, there was delicious grape jelly. The flavor profile of this drink really reminded me of muscat tea. Super delicious. And to balance out the freshness, this drink was topped with cream foam that was creamy and delectable. I would 100% get this again. $7 as of March 2024.- Coco Mango: creamy and delicious, and the mango flavor really came through. And in between sips, the coconut cream really added some body to this drink. It was absolutely delightful. $7 as of March 2024.- Hayes Blue: this was the drink that I was most curious about, because I did not know what to expect simply from the color of the drink. But to my surprise, the flavor was really light (not to sweet, and it gave me a young coconut vibe, with actual young coconut flesh. Absolutely refreshing and wonderful. I added boba to my drink, but the boba was not needed at all. In fact, I'm going to be honest, the boba was not my favorite, because it was a little bit too tough for my liking. Price was $5 as of March 2024, but it came in half of the size of the other drinks (12oz).
