Came here for the first time for lunch on a weekday. This spot is great, like other reviews suggest! There's some nice indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is extensive and the staff behind the counter very friendly and welcoming.I went with the caprese sandwich. It was really good and a generous size for the price! I only ate half here and took the other half to go. Service was super fast as well. This seems like a really nice local spot and I plan to return for more lunches!

Small shop with delicious food manned by a very kind shop owner. It truly feels like you're having a meal at someone's home. The menu is extensive, with sandwiches, soups, salads, plates, and even dessert, all at super reasonable prices. I had the pastrami sandwich with cheese. Make sure to get the cheese! The melty cheese adds a delicious layer of creaminess to the pastrami. I don't know what bread this is, but it's amazing. Slight crunch on the outside, but so fluffy on the inside. Tastes really good toasted the next day in the air fryer too. We also had the soup of the day was a chicken rice soup, a huge bowl with lots of veggies and a thick heartiness. Came with 3 pieces of that delicious bread. My friend got the caprese sandwich, which also tasted super fresh. There's actually a small indoor seating section even if it doesn't look like it from the outside. Forego the Taco Bell Cantina and come here instead!

We came here because of the great reviews and we were not disappointed. It's no frills but just exactly what we need in the neighborhood. Only one gentleman working, and he was kind, efficient, and encouraged us to pay after we finished the food. We ordered a BLT and Oven Baked Ham and Cheese and the french bread it was on was pillowy and fresh. You can tell he puts a lot of care and intention into his food. It seems like this place will attract loyal regulars. We will be back!

Fresh made. Great local spot. Love the breakfast wraps and now expanding to offer more international foods in a convenience store format. Nice guy.

Very good hole-in-the-wall lunch spot near the Giants ballpark and a few offices in South Beach/South Park, SF. I loved chatting with the older gentleman owner who took orders and handled preparing the food. He was chatty and friendly even though the staff who usually is there to help him was absent! He handled the lunch rush well.I enjoyed his housemade baklava and my chicken banh mi. I will be back to try more from their extensive menu--lots of sandwiches, lasagna, platters, breakfast items, baked goods, salads, and soups!

So delicious!! This place was in walking distance from my hotel, so I gave it a try for breakfast. The man working was very kind and encouraged payment after the meal, which I loved. The inside has only few tables for eating, but don't let that deter you. The meal was so good, reasonably priced, and you're supporting a local business. I would definitely return again!

Was looking for a place to grab lunch and found this on Yelp. There aren't a lot of signs or visual markers that stand out, so it can be easy to walk by like I did while looking for it. The menu is propped up along the wall near the front entrance. The service was quick, and although the man, who I assume is the owner, isn't a man of many words, he wasn't rude or anything in the slightest. The interior decor is lacking, and there isn't really any seating, but the looks did not reflect the food at all. I ordered the NY Hot Pastrami sandwich, and a Roasted Red Pepper Soup. The pastrami sandwich was amazing. The meat was incredibly tender, wasn't too salty, and it was on a soft bun. They provided some pickle slices that went really well with the sandwich too.The soup menu looks like it changes daily. I got the Roasted Red Pepper Soup and it was so flavorful and smooth. This will probably be my new normal lunch spot whenever I'm in the area. Everything was delicious!

Stopped in here yesterday before a baseball game, and immediately noticed the largely diverse menu. I chose the New York Hot Pastrami sandwich as my dish and was pleasantly surprised! It was just like it claims, the real deal! I've had the best pastrami sandwiches in New York City, and this actually had a decent chance to compare to those. I got so focused on the delicious food that I forgot to take a picture until halfway through the meal! The prices were good, especially for a restaurant in San Francisco. The portions were great, I was quite full even without any sides. Everyone else in my party thoroughly enjoyed their food as well. The service was fast, and good, the owner(?) was extremely nice and efficient. Very small shop and almost no space for indoor dining, but the tables outside were actually a nice change, especially with the good weather in SF.Go support them if you're in the area, some of the best sandwiches I've had in a while!

Great lunch spot. My boyfriend and I frequently come here for lunch during the week. The portions are large and the ingredients are always fresh. The chef and owner is the sweetest older gentleman and loves to chat and get to know you. Seating is a bit sparse but most people get food to go. I recommend the caprese sandwich and the BLTThe only downside is that it may take awhile to get your food because the only person working is the owner. It's a one man operation.
