Beef shawarma plate

Love coming to Yumma's for their chicken shawarma plate. It's such a good price for a decent amount of food. They're fast and efficient. My order is usually ready within 10-15 minutes of ordering. The beef shawarma is a little saltier than I'd like it but still pretty good. They have nice and thick steak fries that are soft on the inside but crispy on the outside. Definitely recommend if you're in the neighborhood

I recently visited this Mediterranean restaurant, drawn in by the positive reviews. Unfortunately, my experience fell short. If I knew my experience would not be great , I wouldn't wasted my time to find a parking . Parking was a real challenge, taking around 15 minutes to find a spot. The food didn't make up for the inconvenience. I ordered the pita bread, baba ganoush, and kebab plate. The baba ganoush was overwhelmingly salty with minimal flavor. The pita bread was stale and dry. The kebab plate's portion was tiny, with barely 5 spoonfuls of rice. Don't look at the salad size . The food portion itself is so small . The kebab itself was overcooked, dry, and salty.I'm disappointed in the excessive salt used in the dishes. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant and would advise others to think twice before visiting.

Falafel is delicious. Crisp on the outside but moist on the inside. Wraps are large at an amazing price point ($12- easily worth $14) and their chicken kebab plate was also generous and delicious. Will be coming back!

I love everything about this place. We're from San Jose and decided to try out this place before leaving and it did not disappoint. The food portion was just right. We got the combo plates with lamb and steak. Everyone was welcome with good service. Definitely will come back. Not to mention the price here is probably the cheapest you can find in the bay area!

TL;DR - perfect for on the goI love coming here for a quick grab and go to enjoy at the park. There's never a line! Meat is grilled fresh, there's tons of options to make your wrap. The pricing works for our budget! There isn't really seating since it's tiny and it's not a fancy place but who needs that? I like their lamb and their chili sauce!

I eat here ALL THE TIME. High quality food. Taste is true to Mediterranian palate. Chicken is halal (not that matters to me, but they care about quality). I always add dolmas, I love the authentic fries and pickles. The owner always tries to charge for hot sauce lol but their prices are very competitive in SF so I understand. LOVE THIS PLACE. Thank you.

The chicken kebabs are too salty with use of spices that doesn't make the food appetizing. I got two kebabs and I can only eat one because of the taste. They give you a large portion of salad and a decent amount of hummus. Lavash on Irving Street has a better chicken kebab. Total cost ~$16.
