The highlight of this place for me is the unagi and seared salmon. The sashimi slices are very fresh and thick too. The miso soup is also real miso soup and not the powdered instant kind.I have not been disappointed by anything I've ordered and the owner is really sweet.Melting salmon roll and double unagi rolls are my usuals. My friends and I also like to get the katsu musubis with a side of curry to dip.

The space is small. The food is exceptionally delicious and fresh. So many choices! I usually go for the Yoma unagi bowl. It actually comes on a plate with fresh greens, edamame and rice. Miso soup on the side and she always offers hot tea (free) or water. They have many drink options too. I tried the seared salmon today. WOW!! Melt in your mouth, fresh delicious salmon. No fishy odor. Yo-yo is the female owner of this wonderful little gem. She is so kind and attentive to every customer. You have the option to order on their kiosk or with YoYo. Thank you YoYo for bringing up the freshest sashimi. There are so many more items on the menu to choose from. Consistent. Fresh. Generous portions. Reasonable price and excellent customer service. What more can you ask for?

Yoma seems like a local family run restaurant with very friend staff. We came in on a busy day, and the owner was very kind to us despite having to take care of so many customers. The restaurant is not big, so it can fill up, but we went in the afternoon and were able to find seats for 4. I got the chicken katsu sandwich. The portions were good, and well worth the price you pay for. You can also order the meal version that comes with musubi and a drink (although for 2 sandwiches instead of 4). The chicken is a bit dry,, but everything else was tasty!

I was craving for a quick bento lunch and happened upon Yoma Cafe. You just look up at the menu fast-food style, order from the cashier, and the food get delivered to you. There were several customers who ordered take out but I ate indoors. They offer board games for customers if you are so inclined. I got a bento with unagi teriyaki, which came with sides which were not the usual maki rolls but spring rolls and something like deconstructed sushi and added an upgrade of ikura sashimi (salmon roe) for $3. My hubby ordered a beef teriyaki bento and the burrito like sushi wrap with shrimp. Food was decent for the price, and table seating was simple, but unfortunately there was construction on the street nearby, making it noisy inside. No wonder everyone else got takeout.

If you like lots of variety this is the place for you. There are endless Japanese dishes for you to have from bento, sando, donburi, sushi rolls and appetizers, with endless combinations and options. We ordered a seared tuna bento with some toppings like ikura, avocado, and a crab salad hand roll on the side. Everything was really fresh and the fish quality was great. Same for the tonkatsu sando w/ spicy mayo which has mixed greens in it. The pork is thin spices but like the chunky pork you see in a usual Japanese sando. You can pick any drink or side to go with it for a combo that's less than $15. The ube taro milk I got for the side was nothing super special, kind of tastes like the nostalgic taro you got from quicklys. I will try something like their coffee boba next time. I definitely see this place as a casual hang out spot. There aren't too many tables but it is homey with board games to play if you have time. Be patient with the service here and you are good. They go out attention and care into the food.

Metered street parking only . Nestled between the inner sunset residential neighborhoods. Small close quarters dining room , seats about 24 pp. combination of bar stools / tables/ chairs type seating. We entertained ourselves with a round of uno card game & jenga while we waited for our food. The menu has quite a vast selection of food options from Bento boxes to sushi rolls , cold sandwiches, curry dishes , sushi burritos and sashimi. We order different options of bento boxes, each came with miso soup or salads. We all liked what we selected , noting the chicken katsu was crunchy and deliciously seasoned .

This charming cafe was a delightful stop along on long stroll around the Sunset. The interior has a few tables inside, but seating can be limited depending on how busy it is. We thankfully snagged a table after ordering and admired the food at our neighboring tables. Their menu is crowded and can be a bit daunting with how it's formatted, but you'll eventually spot the items that call out to you. We specifically walked in with what we wanted to try in mind, so it was a matter of looking for key words. FOOD:Even thought we only ordered one set, we were pleasantly surprised with two bowls of warm miso soup. It was a welcoming experience and made me even more excited for the food. Our katsu and sides came out quickly! The katsu was lightly breaded and not overcooked at all. We received a generous amount of spicy salmon and crab meat hand rolls, but I did think the seaweed wasn't as crunchy and a tad bit chewy. SERVICE:The individual serving was very kind and welcoming. If I were in the area of the sunset again, I'd definitely stop by to try other items on their menu!

Great place for a quick bite in sunset during g lunch hour. Got the tonkatsu sandwich and it was delicious. Very crispy and tender and flavorful. One order is actually enough for 2 meals. I'm a bigger eater and couldn't finish both sandwiches. Each sandwich is normal sandwich bread slices size and cut in half then multiply that 2. So it's really 4 halves. Definitely shareable with a friend. The boba was ok. Wouldn't not recommend the boba here as it's a to sweet and taste like power. The service was quick when I went as there was only one other person ordering ahead of me. Not many tables to sit inside but it's ok you can take your food and walk to Golden Gate Park to enjoy your sandwich My go to place for some sandwiches and the is very reasonably priced

Service: lady was nice, sadly she did not make our drinks fast enough for us to drink it during our meal time of 30 minutes. The ambiance of the restaurant was busy. Menu was busy to read and confusing to navigate. Not much seating area.Food was a hit or miss. Chicken katsu sandwich was good. Beef teriyaki bento was not. It was too chewy and not much teriyaki sauce. Rice was hard. The fries sides dishes were really good such as the vegetable spring roll and the gyoza.Dragon roll was okay, not the best, but still decent.Avoid the boba drinks, even if it is buy one get one free. I got the Thai tea and it was watered down. The jasmine milk tea was too sweet even though we adjusted it to not be.Would like to give this place another chance and improve in the future, but for now three stars is what it gets.

We were starving after a walk in GGP and found this cute place nearby. The place is small, but they're clever with how the seating is organized, so it doesn't feel too cramped. The menu is huuuge and the portions are great too. I highly recommend the popcorn chicken- we got a size small, but there was more chicken than I've seen at a lot of other places. It's also not too oily and full of that delicious crunch. They did forget about the drinks we ordered, but quickly amended it and gave us a bonus drink. We really appreciated the gesture as running a small business is hard and it can get really busy. I wish I lived closer so I could come more often :')
