I went 9am on Sunday morning.Everything was fresh and hot! There was a small line but short wait.Price chart seemed to be updated for most items.I paid $13.95 for 1 order (3 pcs each per order) of: shrimp roll, pan fried chives dumpling, and steamed bbq bun.Shrimp roll was delicious when it's piping hot. I'd say go early for best experience. No sit in area. Take out only

I visit places I like and enjoy the food whenever I am in this area. Prices have gone up, but that is everything at this point. I would say things here are still pretty reasonable. The place is typically to-go and not a place for sit-down. They get busy and line out the door, but that depends on what time of the day. I enjoy the food and have nothing bad to say, so the quality is on par. I grew up eating this stuff, and it brings a little bit of my childhood to me.

Yes I still go here! The lady who works here is like the modern day version of a poor man's Edsel Ford Fong so if you want rude service without a smile, this is your place. The dim sum is good and fresh if she is not too lazy or cheap to make you something that isn't ready yet.

The block between 7th and 8th avenues on Clement has one of my favorite dim sum places in San Francisco. Xiao Long Bao has one of the best shrimp roll and shrimp rolls in the city. Come here for the fried shrimp rolls. The best I've had. Filled with shrimp meat and absolutely delicious. (Note: I've had an experience where I've gotten a veggie spring roll instead of shrimp since they're placed right next to each other in the stand). The fried dumplings are good as well. Have cash on hand and I recommend looking at pictures of what they serve so you know what you want and feel less pressured when ordering! Service is efficient.

This is my 'go to' no frills place for dim sum. My favorites are the turnip cakes and the fried shrimp & cilantro egg rolls which is the only place I think that makes those kind of egg rolls. So many choices and I spend way more than I originally intended to, but nothing goes to waste for sure!

Visited this spot because Good Luck Dim Sum was closed.Ordered the following.Potsticker - Meaty, good flavor. Skin was very greasy. Cilantro Shrimp - Barely any cilantro. Curry Chicken Bun - Good amount of filling but was bland.Shu Mai - Very meaty but a little too salty. Chive Shrimp - Good amount of chive to Shrimp ratio. Skin was not too thick. Best item of the whole order. However, I've had better take out dim sum else where.Dry Shrimp Rice Roll - The rice sheet is thick and doughy. Did not come with any sauce, so it was bland. Ended up throwing it away.Lotus Rice Wrap - Rice was inconsistently cooked. However, the flavor was good.Mystery Bun - (was supposed to be turnip cake) was actually taro. Good amount of filling to bread ratio. Not too sweet. Total was $35. Tip: Pay attention and confirm they are giving you what you ordered.

First off this place is open at 8am and it's cash only. Please try a little of everything because it's honestly delicious! My favorites are the pork or beef pan fried bun, shrimp eggroll (out of this world) and anything out of the steamer - har gow, shumai, lotus sticky rice. The service is fast and when not busy, friendly! Be patient with them and they will be nice to you.The ambience is meh. I mean it's alright no seating. I feel like it's meant to be on-the-go. Plus the Golden Gate Park is near so why not make it a picnic! It does get busy, specially on weekends at lunch.

No frills. Chaotic. Lines. Crowded. Delicious. Come and try and come back. Best steamed veggie buns I've ever tasted hands down. And the items are all labeled in Chinese and English so there's less mystery than similar places.
