Wing It

A coworker was eating it one day and she recommended it, so I decided to check this place out for dinner. This place is very narrow and with people waiting for their food, it seemed a lot more crowded than it was. There are 5 booth style tables for in-house dining, but when I was there, they all had people sitting who were waiting for their food to go. One table had a few cups on there, which ended up to be an employees who cleared it out for us. Unfortunately, it was right by the register which had two young men, the same people who took our order. Since the place isn't all that big, it meant hearing their conversation, which had a lot of profanities and it made the person I was with uncomfortable. It took about 15 minutes for our wings. It was good. Not the best I've had but decent enough.

OMG the wings at this place are so unique and delicious I had to write this review. My favorites are the cilantro chutney and the sesame pomegranate. I don't usually like breaded wings but in this case it soaks up all the delicious flavors!

There's only one review for this place so I thought I would give it a shot. I ordered the 20 wing combo through Grubhub. I got this one with waffle fries and the wild arugula slaw. With tip and their promotion coupon it came out to about $30. I ordered this hours in advance. When the food arrived, the bag was heavy, there was a lot. opening ate a fry first. It was kinda cold but pressed on. The arugula salad looked fresh. Came with a balsamic dressing. It was just arugula and some shredded red cabbage. The dressing was good but very watery. I ended up using the ranch dressing dipping sauce on it. It was ok. The ranch was also watery, not a lot of seasoning, tasted mostly the sour cream base. The wings I got classic buffalo and classic BBQ. This was obviously Frank's Red Hot and what I think is sweet baby rays. The last was sweet and spicy Korean, my favorite of the three. The one actual complaint other than the temperature, I think these wings are baked and have a lot of breading. The texture reminded me instantly of getting a wings from Pizza Hut. Kinda crisp but also definitely not. They have closed boxes for the wings with no vent so that definitely added to that problem. I think that having ordered it so far in advance that they made it early a d let it sit for a while. So over all, for the price in the Bay Area, it's a good value for over all so I gave it 3 stars. But I probably won't order from here again. Maybe it would be different had I ordered and then got to eat it right away.

I looked this place up online. I decided to place an order but their website would not let me order online to the San Bruno location. I drove to the restaurant to place an order. I asked the woman if they had chicken wings. She said "yes" She said I needed to place an order online. I told her that their website would not let me place an order. She then said the company stopped the ability to place orders online. I then asked if I can place an order with her. She said no. I did not want to talk to her any longer because it didn't make sense at all. I said thank you and walked away. Its a stupid way to run a business but they have every right to run their business as stupid as they want.

I walked in to order and was told I had to order online, fine. I asked the man behind the counter if the wings are gluten free and he said yes. Double checked and he said yes again. Ordered 20 wings, and beside the quality being pretty bad, the wings were definitely not gluten free. My son has a severe reaction to gluten and I am furious that an employee would assure me that food is gluten free without being absolutely sure. Aside from this, the wings were probably the worst or close to the worst I've had, the asian sauce tasted so chemically that I couldn't finish them, the other sauces were decent. The wings were small and oily, the fries were pretty good and the sauces were good. Overall, would not recommend.

Ordered thru DoorDash Pickup - a good "Mediterranean " version of Boneless Wings - maybe not quite as good as BWW, but if your looking for something different from the usual Mango/Habanero BBQ sauce, THIS is The Place.

Great comfort food, great price, and great service...with a twist! I was just happy to have a wing option down the street, but this place truly exceeded my expectations. The wings were plump, juicy, and quite frankly way more than we could eat (and at an absurdly good price)! Jumped in with more traditional options of BBQ, Buffalo (both saucy), and Korean then threw in a Za'atar (nice and crispy) to wade into the fusion flavors. I'm hungry to venture into their other new flavors and have it on good authority from the owner that the Pomegranate is the way to go. They've been open less than a week so their website didn't notify them of my order, but EVERYONE at the restaurant (in SAJJ Mediterranean) was extremely nice and worked diligently to get my food out. If you're reading this, thank you again! May call the order in next time to be on the safe side, but I'll definitely be back!
