Love SanFran with my sons. Finding places to eat is a no brainer and union square pizza lives up to my picky sons standards

went here for lunch,kinda cozy space ( hole in the wall type)in SF city ,staff is friendly and our order came fast,crust of our pizza is on point,good taste on the sauce and toppings,fresh ingredients,after eating ,there's a photo op on the side of the building .

Definitely recommended! We quickly searched for pizza (something new to try) after a quick trip to SF museum. We walked in and ordered pizza. Staff was really nice and friendly. Pizza tasted really good. Please was really clean.This will be added to our pizza go to place.

Great pizza, especially after all the shopping nearby. We had it two days in a row as a nice snack. Prices were a little steep for the size of the pizza.

While away for a conference, I had the pleasure to have lunch at Union Square Pizza & Kitchen. It is always a pleasure to have simple food made exceptionally well. I truly enjoyed the spaghetti and sausage. The place was clean and the staff were very welcoming. I highly recommend eating here for some great comfort food!

Start with overall, great spot, definitely recommended. Atmosphere is nice, place is very clean and it's a nice place to hang out with a slice. The staff was plenty friendly, I think the owner took my order but he was a nice guy. Pizza is very good, pepperoni was the right size and cooked perfectly, just a touch above crispy. Dough is a little on the chewier side but a crispy pizza bottom like you'd want. Only two dings I have to give, price was a little high for two slices and a drink and the slices were pretty greasy. Now onto the full review.I happened to be at a conference in SF this weekend and this place was right by my hotel. It looked like a cool neighborhood spot so I kept wanting to stop on my way back in the evenings. I finally got a chance right before I had to catch my flight. Overall, facade is nice - they are either new to the neighborhood or they keep the place very clean. Either way, I definitely wanted to go in everytime I passed by. Loved the old subway tiles style flooring that melted into the countertop. Tons of seating, all ready to go and clean. Top notch in the ambiance category.Service was excellent again, I think the owner helped me. He was on the phone out front but I stopped to check the menu and he pretty much hung up immediately to help me out. They were literally just taking fresh pizzas out of the oven as I was stepping in for lunch. He took my order quickly, all good. They brought my pizza out within maybe two minutes, like I said completely fresh. Service was exactly what I wanted, especially since I didn't have much time before the airport.Onto the food - very good but not perfect. The pizza was of course, very fresh since they were just pulling it out of the oven. The cheese was almost perfect, just a touch too much for my tastes but it tasted legit. The pizza was very greasy - if you are into that sort of thing, this is pretty much the quintessential version. I just dripped mine off and it was fine. The pepperoni's were perfect, I loved the size and there was pretty much the perfect amount. The dough was also excellent, the perfect mix between enough chew and a crispy bottom. Overall, great pizza, id definitely eat it again. My last complaint is the price - 20$ for two slices and a canned soda is a lot. They're decent sized but I was frankly still hungry at the end. I know everything is expensive these days but that's tough. Excellent pizza but yeah, I had more food for less money on my trip.Overall give this place a shot, definitely worth trying. Very good pizza and cool place.

This place is absolutely awesome, people are friendly, kind, talkative when you want to talk, and are in general great people. The ambiance is nice, like a classic small pizza shop in the city type vibe. And the food is absolutely divine. They introduced me to hot honey on pepperoni pizza and I was amazed! Great late night pizza stop! The guys working late nights are the best. The place has a bodega feel to it so it's great for a quick pit stop.
