Ty Sandwich

This spot has been my go-to for banh mi in the neighborhood for over a decade! Unfortunately, like everywhere else, the prices have gone up over the years. The shop is very small, with just a counter for ordering and a few high chairs by the window for seating. The service is straightforward, not much to say about it. I usually call in for my orders and it'll be ready within 10 mins.My usual order is the combination sandwich with extra jalapenos. The sandwich is packed with meat and veggies, with the mayo and pate perfectly balanced, and the bread toasted to perfection. I'm also a huge fan of their vietnamese iced coffee! I believe they use the Trung Nguyen brand, which is my absolute favorite. Not many places use it since it's harder to source, but it makes all the difference!

Ty Sandwich is a casual shop serving delicious banh mi for about $10 a pop.I tried the grilled pork and combination sandwiches. Both were solid. Parking isn't easy. I witnessed a lot of double parking. Definitely call your order ahead in advance for efficiency.

Im sure we all had so many Vietnamese sandwiches over the years, many good& many dry! This is why TY is one of the better ones, their sandwiches come with yummy lemon grass flavor( mayo ??? But not 100% sure). The bread is soft/ flaky.I only eat the sandwiches here, I don't like their other foods/drinks. But maybe you will. No dine in either FYI. Delicious banh mi in my neighborhood! The lemongrass pork banh mi is mine and my husband's favorite. He also likes the combo banh mi. It gets busy around lunch time so try to come before 12 if you don't want to wait too long, or order in advance for pick-up!

One of the more affordable Banh Mi places in the neighborhood. It is a little difficult to find parking in this area though, but otherwise their sandwiches have a great portion size you definitely get your money's worth. We usually get the combo cold cut and it's absolutely packed to the brim. Every bite was absolutely delicious, I specifically real enjoy the pate taste.

They really pack the sandwiches with meat, which is greatly appreciated. The Vietnamese coffee is great. The boba would've been nicer if it had more flavor. Service was fast. The restaurant is cute and well-kept.

This is becoming my favorite spot in the city for banh mi. It is relatively inexpensive compared to a lot of places and is actually delicious. The fancy pork with pate was on point because the creaminess of the pate balanced so well with the pickled carrots and the bread. The pate might not be for everybody but once you grow on it, it's very tasty!

Ty Sandwich is an absolute classic that never disappoints! The Lemongrass beef is hands down the best--tender, flavorful, and packed perfectly. The sandwiches are consistently amazing, always delivering that perfect bite every time. I used to live in the area and would visit nearly every other week, always remembering to bring my $10 as a youngster to enjoy. It's so heartwarming to see the place thriving, and now with their expansion next door, it's clear that everyone else loves it as much as I do! The service is always friendly, and the ambiance feels like home--casual, cozy, and welcoming. Ty Sandwich is truly a hidden gem.

Oh inflation! Anyways, let's move on to my review...I got the grilled chicken with extra pate. The sandwich was pretty good. The pate nice and creamy. The veggies had a good crunch and pickle. The filling a good amount of chicken. I don't believe I tried any of the rolls, so cannot comment on that. The drinks looked standard. Not my cup of tea, (Or should I say coffee?) I like all my drinks pretty plain. Meaning no milk or sugar.Solid spot for banh mi, tho a little pricey.

I've came in for their boba, and it's been one of my favorites. Service is always great. I've yet to try the banh mi but hope to soon.
