The Wreck Room

This is such a fun little bar. I did feel like some of the staff were a little rude for no reason. I mean just San Francisco-attitude. Not bad enough to deter me but bad enough to remember. Lots of games here. Shuffleboard, pool, basketball game, boxing game, darts. It's a fun time. The bar was crawling with men but only a handful of women. Just fyi.

As a New Yorker, this is my go-to dive bar as they're pro NY teams. It's always full of characters (i heart people watching), with plenty to do while watching the game (pool table and etc.). The drink selection is extensive, and with lots of TVs and plenty of space, it's the perfect spot to kick it.

I had so much fun at this bar! ID check in the front, you seat yourself and go up to the bar to order.It's incredibly spacious, open seating and has a good amount of fun games. The drinks were strong and affordable, the service was fine. You can play skee ball or basketball for $1 a play. A very fun place to catch up and hang out with friends.

When it comes to dive bars in the city, this is easily towards the top of my list. I've been here on multiple occasions over the years, and the drinks are affordable, the service is good, and there's never been a time I didn't get the high score the on the pop-o-shot basketball game. Being off the Polk St. path, this bar wasn't as busy as the other SantaCon stops, and it was nice to have some space to move around and mingle with strangers. I dunno why but every time I come here, I always seem to meet a lot of cool people over playing pool, basketball, or skee ball. It's one of those things where if you put good energy out there, you'll attract that as well. From the bartenders to the patrons, I've always felt welcomed and left happy. The shot and beer combo for $10 is a great deal. They have plenty of beers on tap, multiple TVs playing sports, and SF affordable drinks with a pretentious ambiance. If you are looking for bar to kick with friends, play games, and watch sports, this is a great spot. Plus they are dog friendly. Mila has gotten multiple treats from the friendly bartenders!

Fun bar! We come to watch the nba playoffs and it's a cool spot. Arcade meets dive bar. It's really hot and crowded but a vibe for sure !

My first choice for the, "local sports bar". It's a clean bar with good beer, and a great atmosphere. I have nothing but 5 stars for the wreck room, and I havent wanted to post this; but it's clearly something that needs to be addressed. the bartender named Phil, who always has a warriors towel and hat on his head, as well as a warriors jersey on will completely ignore you, even if you are mid-sentence speaking to him so he can focus on the television. when he finally takes his eyes off the tv and asks what you want, his eyes go immediately back to the tv. There are consistently customer's trying to get his attention, but thats not a priority. there were 2 persons from out of town who came in to check it out and they asked me if this is how the customer service always is..
