The Tamale People at 14th and Folsom

Figured I'd leave a review here since there are so few. These are just amazing. Unassuming food in the city is so hard to come by. 2 dollars a pop, and delicious. Can't beat it. All the flavors are great and you can tell homemade and fresh. Also have Mexican hot chocolate for 2 bucks which is great. Keep it up!

Might be the best tamales in the city! Got the chicken, pork & beef. All good but the chicken is my favorite.

Holy wow... so there's this mini van on 14th, west of Folsom, in front of FoodsCo that DO NOT play when it comes to their tamales. They have 4 different kinds, one is vegetarian (rajas c/queso). Umm...seriously a moist, supple, and indulgent moment biting into those babies. !Viva México Cabrones¡

Wow so glad I found this review or I might've been scared to buy my dinner out of a van but these tamales are fantastic. $2 each, fillings including chicken, beef, pork, and peppers/cheese. Don't get the peppers/cheese - the cheese was overcooked and hard. But the chicken was great and the pork was unbelievable! Two make a full meal - I had one left over and heated it up for breakfast with a fried egg. Amazing.
