The Peak's Bar Noe Valley

Visiting from Austin, my son suggested we hit the Noe Valley Neighborhood. The Peaks has such a fabulous, fun feel. We were immediately welcomed by Ellen. Terrific location Castro & 24th. Still has a Parklette in front. Awesome outside patio. Very dog friendly. Lots and lots of locals. The memories we all shared and we didn't even know each other. Everyone knows a name!! $22 for two shots and a beer. Cool deco inside. One pool table. Cold draft beer.

Great people. Great dive drink deals. Great pool scene. Great location. Feels like an episode of cheers. Great ambiance.

The Peaks offers everything you'd expect from a classic dive bar - a well-stocked bar, friendly bartenders, and a relaxed atmosphere where you can unwind with friends or strike up a conversation with locals. There's vintage memorabilia on the walls, plenty of TV's for sports, and a pool table in the back.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do.We have our hockey draft on the back patio. Everyone gets drinks and laughs and makes happy memoires. Does that happen at a Starbucks? I think not.

Nice little bar with a great local vibe. Nice place to grab a beer and see what's happening in Noe.

The Peaks is a great little neighborhood dive bar. Cold beers. Friendly staff. Friendly customers.

It's a decent dive in Noe Valley. It has outdoor front seating, a long bar, a couple tables, and an enclosed outdoor area in the back. The vibe was relaxed and unpretentious. Although the bartender was slightly in the weeds, she served me in a timely fashion, with a cool ease and friendly demeanor. A Coors and whiskey was a mere $13. Nice to know the bar is there.

Stopped in for an after dinner beer and stayed for a while chatting it up with the bartender while enjoying the music and low-key, neighborhood scene.What a great, relaxing vibe with seemingly friendly patrons and a nice atmosphere in what would be considered a "dive bar."The Peak's Bar is my kind of spot - good drinks and fun people (didn't see any dirtbags or troublemakers.)5 stars!

Great old-school bar, back patio with darts. Bartenders are amazing.Prices great for SF!

Depends what you're looking for. Dive bar atmosphere but friendly local hangout. Came for a beer with friends. No food, but you can bring in food if you want.
