This is your typical hustle and bustle corner weekend brunch spot. The place is lively with lots of people having a good time catching up with friends or on casual dates. I came on a Sunday around 2pm and by then the crowd had died down some and I was able to get a table right away. Note, parking can be a challenge, but you will eventually find a spot. The Food:- biscuits and gravy: 4/5 - biscuits were light, buttery, and fluffy, gravy is thick and sausage is nice a peppery, and the potatoes are seasoned just right with crispy edges. Would get again! - chicken fried steak: 4/5 - steak was crispy but a little crumbling with a light seasoned breading flavor. Solid option for chicken fried steak lovers.

Cool local spot for breakfast and brunch. It's small, crowded and loud, so a typical SF kind of place. Lots of younger locals there (I'm 52 and was easily the oldest person there). The food came out quick and was a good size and good taste. They let to customize your meals too, so they are what you want. Overall it's a nice typical SF kind of place. Would I go here for a romantic or intimate meal? No. Would I go here with friends to have a good time with some good food? Yes!

The New Spot kinda looks like an old spot. The vibes are 70s roadside. Love the loud "what'll you have hun" waiter. She remembers all the regular's orders. Fast, friendly, attentive service. So, the Avocado Toast. Artisan bread, lightly toasted, actually ripe avocado, topped with bacon crumbles & soft poached egg. Very yum. Since I'm the Crabby Gourmet, must complain about the knife. Out of 75 cafes I've visited, only one gave a steak knife. Why, just why do they all give you these glorified butter knives? The bread was too soft to eat with my hands so I was forced to shred my meal like a rabid squirrel. Anyway, solid choice for casual dining. Pretty dim lighting (good or bad depending), & two outdoor cafe tables. I was pleased to see zero laptop campers. This is a diner, didn't see lingerers here, although I never felt rushed. Worthy of return visit.

Made a reservation and good thing I did because it was pretty packed. We were seated outside which was nice except the sun in our eyes, so we asked to switch to a shadier table. They have umbrellas for shade that they brought out later, but we had moved already. Being on the sidewalk also meant being next to the bus stop, which made the ambiance particularly loud.I got The Lean Skillet, and honestly, I was rather unimpressed. It was so flavorless that I had to put a large amount of hot sauce on it for any flavor. Everything was cooked well, it just felt like there was even barely salt on it. The caramelized onions had to do a lot of heavy lifting in terms of flavor. My friends seemed to enjoy their skillets though, so maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. Would give this place another try to see what else was on their menu.

The best diner breakfast spot in SF! The location is so charming and has great outdoor seating. They have all of the classic diner menu items as well. Portions are HEFTY for a phenomenal price. Always leave feeling absolutely stuffed and happy. I had the biscuits and gravy most recently, and it's a flavorful spin on the classic biscuits and gravy I had growing up in the Midwest. Paired with perfectly done over easy eggs and potatoes too, it's the best fix on a weekend morning. Also had to grab a freshly squeezed green juice as well - very fresh and tasty. A little savory, reminiscent of a Bloody Mary without the alcohol.Service is quick and reliable, this place never disappoints!

This place is great new addition to the neighborhood! Not the best breakfast place but the food is decently tasty. It gets quite busy on weekends but the servers are really nice and it's more of an in and out breakfast/brunch place.

After a morning running around the area, my brunch experience was great. The standout dish was their Harwood smoked honey-cured bacon egg Benedict. Served with seasoned potatoes and two soft poached eggs draped in homemade sauce atop an English muffin, each bite was a blend of flavors without being overly salty - truly impressive! For those who enjoy their meals with a bit more heat, the "CAN I HANDLE IT?" burger will not disappoint. This Angus beef creation comes loaded with pepper jack cheese and is elevated by habanero salsa and chipotle aioli that provide a kick to your palate. Accompanied by crispy fries and shaved red onions for added texture - this burger lives up to its name. If you're a fan of spicy cuisine, consider this your go-to order!

Good for a no-frills, casual, diner-style brunch with family or friends. Friendly service. The curly fries were way too salty for my liking. Too much Old Bay Seasoning. One single-stall BR in the back.
