The Napper Tandy is so inviting and cozy! Pull up a seat and order a delicious drink and something to eat. The staff here are great and the vibe is super relaxing while also feeling familiar. They've got a pool table, games, and some larger tables if you aren't wanting to sit at the bar. The bar seating is also nice and feels very community forward. Definitely stop by during holidays as the tasty holiday cocktails are a definite must!

Nestled in the heart of the Mission District, The Napper Tandy is a quintessential Irish pub that exudes warmth and charm. The inviting and cozy atmosphere makes it an ideal spot to unwind with friends or enjoy a hearty meal. We kept it simple and ordered pizza and beer, and both hit the spot perfectly. The pizza was fresh and flavorful, while the beer selection had plenty of options to suit every taste.Service was on-point and very attentive.Whether you're stopping by to catch a game, meet up with friends, or just enjoy a laid-back night out, This spot is a solid choice. It's the kind of place where you feel right at home, and I'll definitely be back for more!

Great pub for watching the game or chilling on a padded bench outside. Fish and Chips were really fantastic- chunky pieces of fish that had good seasoning, tasty tartar sauce / sides, steak fries. Would order again I also like the Rueben sandwich- definitely ask for the "brown sauce". They will add it to the tray of condiments brought out with the meal. Takes the sandwich and fries to another level. The big food items feel expensive ($18/meal) but the portions are quite large and quality is high. This is offset by a wide beer selection that is $8/pint.- food and beer is amazing- super friendly staff make you feel welcome- outdoor patio is very comfortable- interesting rotating specials

My husband & I had an out of body, ratatouille fireworks going off, earth shattering, mind blowing, eye opening experience with the Guinness Beef Stew & side of French Fries. I was simply expecting a subpar yet satisfying pub experience but we were happily shocked to experience the greatness of this spontaneous find. We will be making this a tradition to come & experience this definition-of-a-pub spot. 10/10 would recommend. also martini was on point (i know contradictory since I should've gotten a beer, however my husband loved his guinness) staff was amazing too!

Legit Irish pub. It's been months since I've been here, but my mouth is just watering thinking back on the food here. From the pot roast to the shepherd's pie, it was comfort food at its finest and probably some of the best bar food I've ever had. They even have Irish soda bread, which uses buttermilk and baking soda to give rise to the bread rather than yeast. More of a dense texture, but still soft inside. Service did seem overwhelmed and there was a mix up with our cocktails at one point. Plus, I don't recall our waitress mentioning an extra charge for the Irish soda bread, but grateful for the recommendation! Definitely worth adding on. I'm not one for sports, but maybe I'll just need to make a special trip out here just for the food. It's close to BART, so that's a plus, as I remember parking was a bit challenging. Until then!

If you are in the Mission District in San Fransisco & you are in the mood for an Irish Pub, The Napper Tandy is the spot. There are several tv. screens for watching different games. They have great food (Shepherds Pie, Fish N Chips, Stew...) Marrissa was our Irish server & she greeted us with a warm personality & was mighty friendly. She knew all the regulars who frequent the spot Nice beverages sealed the deal We shall return!

Sometimes I'm a walking cliche.Take Irish pubs. I'll walk in, order fish & chips, a shot of Jameson, and a Guinness. If they do it right, good review will follow.Nappy Tandy is in the Mission, and my barmaid was Danielle, with a lovely accent and blond ponytail. A few other blokes surrounded the bar. The door behind me was left open, a questionable choice when the weather was upper 50s at best, but it was fine. The shot was nice, the Guinness pour professionally done in two stages to optimize a centimeter head. The fish came in fried tubes, which was odd at first, but plenty of white flesh inside, piping hot. Good quantity of chips, with malt and ketchup. All of it delivered with a charming lily, to lend verisimilitude. Another place to add to my list of where to get the best...whatever, depending on the neighborhood.

The service was incredibly unfriendly, we felt ignored and excluded as non Americans. We were not attended for a while and others were getting orders taken before us even though they came in after. I believe one of the bartenders name was Saoirse, she was particularly unfriendly.
