The Mill is a nice but bustling coffee house. When you first walk in, you are greeted with their aroma of fresh coffee. Looking at their menu you see they also serve artisan toast. A relaxing place to lunge around. They offer plenty of seating. One restroom only. The service is nice and friendly.

I like it here, and I think it's a cool spot. But it's just a little cramped, and I wish they had more non-coffee options. Service was fine.If you like coffee, try it! My husband got a hot latte with honey, and he said he liked it.The latte art was gorgeous

I stopped here after a long run on Sunday, and I absolutely loved both the food and the ambience! I really appreciate a coffee shop that offers substantial food options, especially those with protein, such as the egg in a hole at The Mill. Paired with their fresh, homemade bread, there's nothing better to refuel with. The coffee was also very good. It's pretty cavern inside, with ample seating and lots of light. I also love that the smell of fresh bread pervades every corner of this place, but gets stronger as you walk to the back.

I visited the Mill during a walk around Alamo Square park to get my coffee fix. The coffee menu itself was pretty limited, and they kept a lot of their drinks classic and minimal. I opted for their seasonal peppermint latte and liked the depth of the espresso itself. However, the peppermint felt a little overpowering, so I wish I got a mocha or latte instead. I also went pretty late in the afternoon when lot of the pastries were sold out, so I would come a little earlier to try out their baked goods!

Great coffee and nice setting with upbeat vibe inside. We opted to seat outside on a pleasant sunny day in SF. Will definitely come back and try the full coffee/snack experience next time as it seemed it is popular by customers. We didn't order anything to eat as we arrived after lunch and can't comment.

The savoury rosemary, olive, and gruyère scone is to die for! I've most often eaten sweet scones, as they're more common, but the barista recommended The Mill's savoury scone, snd it was one of the best I've ever had. I also got a cortado with oat milk. It was fine but a little less exciting. This place was busy and packed even on a rainy Sunday. Maybe next time, I'll try going on a weekday.

Came here on a weekend and it wasn't busy. I ordered the hot chocolate and it was $6.09 for a 12 oz drink including the sf healthy mandate surcharge. This was one of the worst hot chocolates I've ever had as it was just steamed milk. I couldn't taste even a hint of chocolate and I was very disappointed. I have gotten an almond croissant from here in the past which was delicious which is why I'm giving this place a 2 stars but I wouldn't get the hot chocolate again.

The bread is the star of the show! At first I was skeptical with all the hype around this place, but it live up to and exceeded expectations. You must try one of their toasts or buy a loaf of bread because it is truly some of the best bread I have ever had. All of the staff are extremely friendly and the vibe of the inside is great! Definitely recommend stopping by here if you have time!

Their toasts are a must try! For being a thick piece of bread, it was surprisingly soft and fresh! Definitely a strong selling point to purchase one of their loafs.

Delicious breads and coffee. The smoked trout was a bit salty and the bread was a little rough around the crust, but the avocado toast was moist and had a great soft texture. There's always a line out the door here, but not too hard to find a seat. There's no wifi or outlets to encourage in person connection, which is a neat concept, but good to keep in mind if trying to work from there.
