The food here is amazing!! We come into the city and spend Dec 23 enjoying dinner and drinks and we always stop for breakfast at The Grove before head back home on the 24th. Their Mediterranean seasoning is made in house and it is delicious! I wish they would sell it by the jar. I would stock my pantry! We usually see Santa but this year he was noticeably absent. My kids - now late teens and early 20s - missed that part of our annual tradition. We hope that he'll be back next year. It's great to see the expansions they've done between our visits. The area on the corner used to be a coffee shop but it closed and has extended their dining room. The bar on the other side is a nice addition from last year. We love the ambiance and the lights around the tree and along the ceiling. It adds to the energy and spirit of the place. The Bloody Mary's are good and I always enjoy a little Baileys in my coffee. This place is great. We can't wait to go back again.

It's really close to where I live, so I decided to give it a try. We had the Breakfast Burrito, which included soft scrambled eggs, crispy golden rosemary hash browns, smoky black beans, aged sharp cheddar, Monterey jack, salsa, and mashed avocado. We also ordered The Grove Eggs Benedict with Ham, which came with two poached eggs on a toasted English muffin, American heritage ham, lemon hollandaise, and chives, accompanied by crispy golden rosemary hash browns or organic baby lettuces. While everything tasted alright, I personally found it to be a bit pricey.

Came here for a team building lunch. We arrived around 11am for an early lunch to avoid the crowd. We were greeted by the owner who wore Santa costume. The interior of the restaurant was full of Christmas decoration.Food:Portions are huge. Veggies are fresh.Services:Very nice and personal. Santa dropped by a few times to make sure that we had the chance to take photos with him.Ambiance:Relaxing and festive. People came early to grab tables upstairs which is semi-private.We will come again.

Explored 4 different burrito spots and this is definitely the heartiest! Loved the crispy hash browns and the chopped applewood bacon inside.

Berkeley salad and fried chicken- not bad and very tourist sight downtown. Prices are mid range but chicken was incredibly dried and more baked than truly fried. The salad was quite basic as well with a bland dressing.

We stumbled in here by accident and were thoroughly impressed. The festive holiday decor and happy bartender made our quick stop so enjoyable. We had a mimosa, Paloma, and shared an avocado toast. I'm not sure what it looks like when it's not the holidays, but I'mGuessing still as nice. The bathrooms were really cool too!

My friend introduced me to this spot in SF in December of 2022 and I've gone twice since then. The café mocha is delicious but left me with an aftertaste. The French Toast is always my go to and the presentation of the food looks and tastes delicious. The interior is decorated with trees wrapped in lights which is giving cozy, bright treehouse vibes. The place is packed inside and out, so be prepared to wait. I always opt to dine outside because the inside can get a little loud. The servers are so sweet and constantly checked in on us. Taking off one star because the outdoor area can get packed so you're super close to your neighbors which makes it very easy to eavesdrop on conversations (little privacy) and even bump purses with the person next to you.

Overpriced for what it is. Food was not properly seasoned, we found our food to be quite bland, definitely nothing special. The chicken promised adobo seasoning on the chicken as well as jalapeño slaw, but there was no heat (or much flavor) at all. The pastrami had a lot of meat, but not much flavor either. The latte was not good, the espresso was not pulled well. The Christmas decorations were definitely fun, and the staff was helpful and friendly. And the upstairs is very fun!

On a random Monday at lunch, The Grove was packed with a line leading out the door. Although the line was long, it moved quickly to the counter to place the order which was awesome to see. The small inside seating area was also pretty packed, but we were able to find a spot pretty easily. Our food also came out pretty quickly - this is a very efficient spot. The table loved all the food that came out, and my salad was no different. It was quite large, very filling, and full of fresh ingredients that were great together. For mine, you could even add strawberries at no additional charge - 100% worth it.

Still amazing! Convenient, central to public transit and activities. Shoutout to Abel for great service and come on Thursday nights when they have live music! It was popping then after 7:45pm. Solid sandwiches and salads and more, very filling--will last multiple meals.
