Today is Cinco de Mayo! Oh boy this place deserves all 5 stars! Can I give 10?In honor of today, they served Mezcalitas and tacos which are not on the regular menu. The spicy ahi tacos are scrumptious and so delicious I ate 5 of them! The Mezcalita was strong and was perfectly paired with the tacos. The bartender, server, cook were all very kind, welcoming, attentive, and down to earth good people. The space is classy yet homey! I'll be back. Definitely check this place out.

Excellent wine selection delicious food and chill neighborhood vibe!! Cant wait to come back again and work our way through the wine and food menu! Even the playlist in the background was on point. Love the owners and clientele -so warm, welcoming and fun!

Great place to chill after work and have a drink. Ambiance is very nice and smooth. Owners are amazing and great customer service. Love their menu and great drinks. You can actually have a conversation here!!! Love it.

I had totally underestimated this place and am so glad to have a lovely little neighborhood wine (and cocktail!) bar. The staff is super friendly. You can tell they want to build a community around their little spot, and with how welcoming and genuine they are, it won't be hard.Their red wine sangria is spot on. Four ladies with very different tastes enjoyed it. 4 stars.I was very surprised to see they had a cocktail menu! I love the names (Mission Terrace, Excelsior, the 29 - our local bus). I got the 29 Mezcal Sour - 4.5 stars. Lovely, excellent egg white foam. Smoky mezcal flavor, subtly sour. Loved it.

Cute cozy wine bar in the area! Very intimate setting and great to visit for happy hour for a smaller group or a cute date night.The charcuterie board was delicious! Would absolutely order again.Only recommendation is for them to update their wine lists and/or show the bottle before serving. We ordered a 2018 bottle of wine and they opened and served us the 2019. I am no wine connoisseur and the bottle was delicious so we didn't want to make a fuss. However, we mentioned it at the end on our way out to let them know and they said they haven't updated it in a while.Otherwise, staff was very kind and we enjoyed our visit. We will be back again!

Finally! A wine bar in my neighborhood. Given that this area is primarily residential without the multitude of eating establishments and decent hangouts that Noe Valley, Bernal Heights, or even Jngelside near CCSF has now, The Check-In is a very welcome addition. Serving some wonderful wines by the glass and smallish dishes to complement, it's the perfect place to meet friends for a casual weeknight hang.

Love!!! Cute neighborhood wine bar that has a way of bringing people together. They have tables outside for the warmer days, and a cute mid century feel inside. Highly recommend!!

The cutest little neighborhood wine bar! Just down the street from me and my boyfriend. We wanted a grab a glass of wine one night after dinner and was able to sneak in right before closing. The ambiance of this place is amazing. The owner is sweet and very humble man. He made the perfect recommendation for me and the glass of wine was just what I was looking for to end the night. Will definitely stop by again and try to come more often!

Went on a Thursday night with my girlfriend and we had an amazing time! The owners were very attentive and welcomed us with open arms. The drinks were fantastic and there are many to choose from! Whether you're looking for a new place for a date, a girls night out, or a new place to try, definitely keep The Check-In Lounge in mind!
