Hey this is my absolute favorite bar! Love all the bartenders Declan, Rob, Marty, Shannon!!!! Everyone is great and the drinks are fantastic. Great neighborhood bar and love all of the regulars. Really nice people.

Great vibe, pool, location, and drinks. Rob the bartender is a class act and made the experience that much better.

I've never been treated so poorly at a bar in San Francisco --- we will not be coming back. The bartender with the black mustache/beard and hat was so disrespectful. There are so many good dive bars in SF --- find one that will actually treat you well. I recommend Shanghai Kelly's, the Cinch Salon or anywhere else.

Hi guys - I wanna come here more I really do but for example on a chill Monday night around 6pm maybe consider not blasting whiny 90s grunge music? Dude. No one liked that shit the first time around.

Stopped into this dive bar on a Saturday at 6ish and was just what I wanted-chill atmosphere UFC fight was on dark and cool inside. Good conversation with Damien the bartender and other patrons. Pirate themed. From like the 60s or 70s so it fills the dive bar desires

Cozy little dive with a quarters table and laid back environment. Bartender was chill.

Super awesome friendly bar tenders, cool decor, pool table in the back, and good vibes overall. Drinks were ok, but my group had a good time so 4 stars it is! I would go back for a drink here.

Best bar on Polk. No frills, fun people, and excellent bartenders. If your a snob, stay out please!!!! And there is a pool table and a fire place to top it all off.

I live in the neighborhood and the Buc is solid. The bartenders (Declan & Rob) are awesome, the drinks are stiff and the pool table only costs a buck. You can pay to play music on the jukebox if you so choose. A++

Shannon the bartender is one of the best!Started going there about a year ago and met Shannon. She introduced herself and made me feel welcome immediately.She also introduced to me to some of the regulars and made me part of the "Buc" community. Makes a marvelous margarita and pours the best Guiness in the city.She rocks!
