Tajines Restaurant

Nestled nearby popular restaurants but this place should not be overlooked! It was our first time trying Moroccan food, the server was helpful and pointed us in the right direction. We had the beef Tajine with artichoke and peas which made a perfect meal in the cold weather. The dish was hearty with vegetables and melty roast beef- their homemade hot sauce topped it all off. One of the best meals we've had during our visit!

Food was amazing. Super authentic Moroccan food!I'm Moroccan and this is Moroccan approved!We ordered the Chicken Bastilla, Tagine, and lentil soup. All amazing. Must get the Moroccan mint tea.

Tajines is a magnificent find!! We had a great time while receiving the most excellent service ever!! Slimane is so charismatic, the food was delicious we had scallops, beef couscous, and beef Tajines. Such a cool Moroccan atmosphere makes you feel like you're on vacation in the north of Africa. Definitely recommend trying this unique place in the mist of all the Italian restaurants in the North Beach area.

TAJINES Restaurant is NOT TAJINE 1653 POLK street FAKE IMPOSTER / STOLE name after establishment closed! Food is terrible Moroccan not compared to real TAJINE RESTAURANT (Closed)! Dishes tastes of precook, reheated, dull and lack real spices to be called Moroccan. Another website lists 5 stars FAKE REVIEWS probably owner. What respectable Moroccan restaurant sells cheese burgers explains the reason place is always empty tables. Means products are not fresh, frozen and dishes uninspiring. Real TAJINE owner (Nice) knew Moroccan, these imposters are clueless to authentic cuisine. I am sure this place will closed in less then a year...thieves, crooks and imposters!

Great local gem! The chicken bastilla was tender, indulgent, and generously portioned. Chicken tajine was juicy and succulent, bursting with flavor; I dream of it sometimes. Never heard of French fries in a tajine before. Mint tea throughout the meal hit the spot. We can't wait to visit again!

The food is delicious. Place that one would crave to come back. Zalouk, bread, lentil soup, veggie Bastille, Veggie Tajine. Our friend had beef Tajine and he loved it. I could not stop eating. Lovely service. Moroccan tea also perfect. Beautiful decor and napkins.

My husband (Moroccan) and I really enjoyed this restaurant during our stay in North Beach. Authentic and tasty food and beautiful/simple ambience. Service was excellent. Could not help to finish all the plates...The photo is our Kofta Tomatoes Eggs Tajine.

This place is a total hidden gem, sitting quietly next to Golden Boy Pizza and deserves more traffic! The service is friendly, the atmosphere is cozy, and the food is amazing. I had the Chicken Bastilla, Seafood Bastilla, and Beef Tajine, and they were all delicious. The Skewer Mix was really smokey and flavorful, and the chicken in particular was so tender and juicy!!Surprised it's not more popular bc I think it's way better than some of the more popular places on the same street. I've gone back 3 times now, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for good Moroccan food.

The lady working there sold me bread for 6$ each and when I asked about the price she got mad and she started yelling at me she was like I usually give it to customers with our menu plates. I asked for a whole wheat bread but then when I got home I realized that it was a white bread and it was really bad and it has a smell. It was awful she made me pay 30 box for 5 small breads
