Tadka Indian Restaurant

We had an amazing dining experience at Tadka Indian Restaurant in San Francisco! The food was exceptional, starting with the Paneer Pizza, which was absolutely delicious. We were quite hungry and tried several dishes, including Karahi Paneer, Dal Tadka, Paneer Korma, Tandoori Roti, and Garlic Naan--all of which were packed with authentic flavors.For the kids, we ordered samosas, which were fresh and not like the frozen ones served at other places. The biryani was also perfectly spiced and flavorful.We were a large group with five kids, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The owner personally ensured the kids were comfortable and even provided complimentary rice curd and milk for them, which was such a thoughtful gesture.Honestly, this was the best customer service we've ever received. Both the food and the hospitality deserve a full 5 stars. Highly recommend this restaurant!

We were hungry after watching a show in the neighborhood and found this restaurant online. The food was delicious and service was excellent. Wanted to order appetizers but on checking found out they use same oil for frying veg/non veg. Then just ordered main dishes. From daal , kadahi panir , veg korma ( suggested by the owner) to chappatti everything was piping hot and well made. Its a decent location but good luck with parking as expected in the city . Overall good experience. I wish restaurants who put so much effort in every detail take care of small things like keeping oil separates:)

I came here on a Monday night while waiting for an Indian pizza at a restaurant half a block away. I noticed the vibe here was a little bit more upbeat than the other Indian place. I went in, walked up to the counter and looked around while I waited. I mainly looked at their snack offerings near the register and watched the NFL game on there TV. I wasn't quite ready to order, but a man approached the cashier to take my order. I believe I had the menu in my hand already and ordered some naan and a side of rice. I felt like the man was rushing me a little bit. I asked how long it would be and he said 10-15 mins. I replied, just for a side of rice and one naan. He said yes. The restaurant has 3 small tables with two ppl each sitting at it. He then asked me if it would be for here or to go. I said for here.I paid for my stuff and told, him that I would return cause I was waiting for food elsewhere. I came back 10-15 later with a mango laser from the another place and waited another 5 minutes. The man then came to me with a bag filled with my order. Upon reaching me at the far end of the restaurant, he tied the plastic bag really tight before handing it to me. I kind felt like he was trying to get me to leave, he also stared at me in a aggressive/threatening manor. I then opened my tightly tied bag and started eating. I then looked at the kitchen staff of 5-6 men and they were all staring at me. One even appeared to be staring at me angrily and appeared to begin to walk over to me before the cashier stopped him and said something to him. It made me feel unwanted. I don't know why. Bad vibes.

This place is so amazing I got the chicken tikka masala pizza and samosas and a mango lassi everything was amazing I even got a little rice pudding what a perfect dinner. They were so sweet in there and it was quick and I got it to go. I will definitely recommend this place to anybody in the mission it was amazing just the right level of spice and the sauces are good too couldn't have asked for a better Indian pizza!

So. I was craving Palak Paneer, and I decided to try Tadka. I have tried one of their pizzas in the past, and it was decent but not like...anything wild. The palak paneer is a completely different story! Absolutely amazing!Delicious!! Great texture and flavour. A good kick of spice to it, very pleasant but I still wouldn't mind if it were just a bit spicier.Prompt and polite service all the time, good food..I will definitely continue to return!

Tadka is a great place for dine in though ur not looking at ambience like the Amber Cafe but certainly its better than Shalimar.1. I ordered Kadhai Paneer Spicy and it was very tasty and spicy2. The garlic naan was huge and lot of butter and distinct taste of garlic3. Mango Lassi was great too4. They also gave me onion lemon and chillies when I requested the same5. Would have loved complimentary papad and pickle6. Would also have loved if they kept fennel seeds for after food at the counter7. If you are cricket fan, IPL highlights was on when I went

Hello again... I had their pizza despite the poor review from a while back and I think they stepped up their game and were successful. The chicken tikka masala pizza and it was amazballs!! I also ordered a the palak paneer (soo good!) and used that as a dip for the crust and it was amazing!! The paneer added a unique cheesy flavor that is unique and soo delicious. I love coming here, the staff greets you so kindly and offered me the most delicious chai while I waited. This place is always nice and clean, with a quiet charm that is so inviting. Cheers!

I would love to highlight how great the food is here. Just that my stomach couldn't handle any of it the night I went. Got pretty sick, not thinking of coming anytime soon. Don't want to pray that it was from the food itself though, even though it's some great food.Butter Chicken was tender and sauce was A1.Paneer was great. So was the basmati rice.Felt so good eating right after. But just didn't settle well with my stomach. Hope I can review this place again, and give it a higher review in the future.

Ok here's the deal the rating is for the fact that it's a late night joint that actually tastes like someone cooked your meal! I personally would skip the biriyani only due to the personal preference of liking a less heavy gravy taste. The naan was excellent. Maybe next time I'll try the cream based masala's. the chicken is a must get just for how tender and moist it was. Service was efficient and friendly. It's a really clean spot. Nothing fancy but clean.

I found this restaurant on google and wanted to give it a try. Didn't disappoint! My family and I had an amazing time eating here. The server was really nice and the food was really good.
