Ambiance:It's bright and clean with a few tables and chairs to hang out with your friends, while you're having your snacks. Noise levels are also pretty low, but I'm sure it depends on how many patrons or who is in the shop. Service: The owner is very nice and will also ask if you want certain items heated up. Food:Everything is made fresh in house and the prices are so much better than some of the neighboring shops. Four dollars for a down spam and egg bun?! Under $3 for a hot dog bao? Sign me up! The buns are soft and fluffy and a little sweet on top, which is just perfect for the savory sweet palate that i prefer. I ended with the walnut cookie, which is a sizeable portion. I grabbed 3 items for under $10. I think that's super affordable, considering that there's meat and a fried egg in one of the sandwiches. I think this is one of the best places to go in the neighborhood if you're looking for sandwiches that aren't $10+ - they have other substantial looking meat items that i have yet to try. Woman minority owned business. Shop local and love this spot!

Cozy Chinese/Irish neighborhood bakery on Taraval! I love this place, it's very affordable and they have tons of options. From a variety of Chinese buns to sausage rolls, pasties, sandwiches, cakes and more. If you enjoy baked goods, you will definitely find something here. I've tried a few of their Chinese buns, the hotdog buns and red bean buns are my favorite. Definitely will check out some of their other pastries next time. Perfect place to go for a quick breakfast, lunch or snack!

Small, cozy spaces where the owner knows their customers and have a heavy flow of locals have a special place in my heart. While I don't get to the Outer Sunset so much these days, I was there recently for a very early Sunday morning soccer match. Craving something local, I popped in here after browsing some other spots... including some of the "well-known" spots around. This place reminded me of some other small spots in NYC and Miami with an eclectic mix of food items... sausage rolls, curry pasties, potato bread goodies, and a wide assortment of pastries. The owner clearly knew the folx who were coming in, calling most by name. While the rolls & pasties looked soooo good, I couldn't pull my eyes away from the egg + cheese + bacon + ham croissant, it looked insane, in the very best way. When I asked for it, the owner asked me if it was ok that it had Siracha... divine! This breakfast croissant was epic. She warmed it up for me and it was nice and crispy, the tanginess of the melted cheese + Siracha, paired with the flavor explosion of the egg + ham + bacon... Anthony B would have loved this spot. Sidenote... a regular came on to order a bunch of goodies and the owner explained that she had an assortment of moon cakes given the season. This is that local + ethnic + eclectic vibe that I love. I'll be back.

It's been nearly a year since my last visit and it is still a fantastic little neighborhood bakery featuring Chinese bakery treats and Irish/British baked goods. I arrived around 8:30am and the freshly baked goods are steadily coming out from the back.Their sconewiches are always winners for my family. It's filling and satisfying--it is my personal favorite and reasonably priced at $7.50. I also ordered the Nutella bun & a red bean bun. Both weren't overly sweet, although I wished there was just a bit more Nutella in the bun. If you're in the neighborhood--support this local business--you can't order anything wrong.

Inexpensive and good fresh Asian bread, it's a little out of my way but I stopped by for the first time to buy a variety of pastries. It's a very cute place run by a sweet lady, bring cash and support this small local business. What a treat to stumble upon this establishment, melon cake (wife cake) was my favorite. Wish I lived closer so I can stop by for a quick bite.

They are a Local bakery which has some fantastic bakery buns. It brings me back to my childhood in Chinatown, eating buns and egg tarts. They also have some beautiful drawings of Chinatown on the walls. The service was excellent, and you could tell they knew their customer by name. They have fantastic owners and great food.

The volcano coffee was good. It was thick and creamy. The apple tart was cold and kinda hard to eat. It had pears and applesauce in it.The service was just ok. The lady was rushing us to decide and buy something. She did not answer any of our questions. She did not give me a receipt when asked for one. There was no ambiance. It was just a small storefront.
