If you love dive bars, there's so much to love about Surf Lounge! We were waiting for a table at a hot pot place next door, and it was 1.5hr wait, so we decided to do a little pregame at Surf Lounge. This cash-only spot definitely has a locals feel to it with plenty of seating inside and a bigger patio out back that allows for dogs on leash. They've got plenty of TVs inside and out, so you can watch your favorite sports team. The best part about this spot is how cheap the beers and seltzers were. Topo chico hard seltzers, $5. Modelos, $5. Those are great prices for 2024! The staff here was all really kind and we felt very welcomed. Such an underrated spot and will definitely be back next time we have dinner in the area. They have an ATM inside, but if you walk across the street towards the Safeway, there's a Wells Fargo or Bank of America ATM machines.

Bar staff inattentive and dismissive. It took about 10 minutes before I could get their attention to order a drink, not super busy either. Like 5-7 open seats. One of the bartenders told me that it's not a confusing set up and implied that I was not intelligent for not knowing where the trash was. Loud music, hella sports screens, wobbly tables, sticky wood, gross bathroom, overall surfer hick paradise. The bartenders seemed offended that I brought my glass to the bar when finished. Honestly such a whack bar experience, not my place, won't return again.2/5 did not order food

Lower your expectations. Or actually, don't. Because you may be pleasantly surprised (or spoiled) by the fact that if you order a bourbon or other shot on the rocks, trust that Louie or any of the other bartenders will happily pour you the most generous drink you've ever been served in a long time. No joke. They will take care of you and $20 will easily cover your drinks for a while. Amazing. Don't ever change, Surf Lounge. You're something special!

Great old school bar! Where else can you get a Coors Light and a triple Buffalo Trace for $14!!!

I walked up to the bar, and a very rude, overweight woman bartender glared at me. She didn't say hello, just said "What's up," and continued to be rude throughout the night. She needs to realize that she is in customer service, and Pacifica is known for its friendly people. She should drop the attitude or find a new line of work.

I discovered this place thanks to my friends Faco and Stolowitz who've got me doing trivia there every Monday. I was fresh off a flight from Hawaii so it's perfect. This is the only place I order fancy drinks . Every week I try something new . I tried the s'mores it was good. That grasshopper tho who's that was really good. They make a great Hawaiian blue and volcano too, I love the mai tai too. I miss Joey. He was a great bartender. Hey man they've still got some super great ones . Well the one guy there is awesome, dang I forgot His name. They've had some great comedy here too at times. Shout out to Honoton. The parking is great . There's a beach close by to walk it off if you're tipsy too. The drinks are priced great and they give you Your moneys worth. The crowd here is great too. I knew none of the customers but they've made me feel like fam.

The patrons I have met here have all been super nice, however, the bartenders are another story. I've only been to SL a handful of times, and after this last visit, I don't think I'll be back. The reason is because out of the few times I've visited, the bartenders have been super rude to me on more than one occasion and I am a very friendly person. No smile, no thank you, snappy attitudes... making the experience very uncomfortable... I really don't get it... the energy is so weird. Yeah, Ivd given this place a few chances, but Im not going back this time.

Be very careful with the bartenders. A certain one steals your money after you pay with a $20.00 and doesn't come back with any change after paying for one beer and says "you only put down a $5.00".!!! How is that ? Beers are now over $5.00, so why would I put down a $5.00 !!??I now his name. I also know if you challenge him , he'll tell you to leave. Watch out for this guy.
