Superfine Kitchen

Excellent option for a hot homecooked lunch. Better selection and portion size compare to Proper Foods. Tried their Ginger Black Bean Salmon today which came with garlic and ginger bok choy and jasmine rice. They even heat it up for you in their super-fast ovens. Tasted like quality and I will be back to try their delicious looking focaccia pizza slices. 2 slices for $8 bucks. Today's offering was castelvatrano olive and leek for vegetarians and Brussel sprout bacon for the meat eaters. I also want to mention their huge healthy beverage selection from kombucha to Olliepop.

I really am a lazy yelper, and typically only post if a place stands out - either in the positive or the negative.Superfine, in my humble opinion, most definitely stands out in the POSITIVE! So much so that I'm giving them five stars.They sell fresh packaged meals a La "bento", and have a pretty cool variety. But what I love about this place is their awesome artisan pizzas which they switch up monthly, and serve in slices (Wednesdays and Thursdays only). Apparently they have a unique method of making their dough "slow fermenting"? and it comes out wonderfully soft and delicious, encased in a nice light outer crust. I'm usually in the office on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and these great slices give me something to look forward to.Oh, one more thing that I find refreshing and magical about this place. Every time I've gone, the people working behind the counter have been Superfine! I mean really nice, truly friendly and hip people. Their positivity even seems to rub off on some of the customers. In my opinion, having nice people running the place is almost as important as the quality of the food. So in my book, this place is running with a perfect score and I've had at least a dozen meals from their kitchen (mostly that awesome pizza).I must admit, I have been hesitant to post this review because I don't want to start walking in there and having them sold out of pizza every time. L O L so save me a slice OK? But they deserve the 5 star review so here you go.

The best to-go food in downtown SF. Their salads are always reliably fresh, tasty and delicious. I always feel good after I have their food for lunch. Incredible staff, and charming decor make this a go-to spot. Check it out!

Great selection of sandwiches, hot plates, pastries, home made pizza, and other goodies for lunch and breakfast. Service is very friendly and includes heating up hot plate entrees. Much prefer this place over Proper Food!

We used them for catering a couple times and each time the food presentation looked great but the taste was very bland and was very disappointing.
