I was recommended this location by a friend due to past experience, but unfortunately we both walked out very disappointed. I don't think the menu had bad recipes per se, but every dish we ordered tasted heavily salted to the point of it being uncomfortable. The only thing that wasn't heavily salted was the white rice, but even the after-taste of the fried rice felt uncomfortable in my mouth an hour after leaving. I don't know if the quality decreased or something, but won't be personally returning.

Came here with a friend on a Sunday at 5:00 PM and the restaurant was fairly empty. The interior decor of the restaurant is cool and had a beautiful mural on a back wall. The light music with windows along the long walls made for lovely ambiance. We got the Papaya Salad, Pad See Ew, and Kabocha Curry with Sun Rice. All of the dishes were very colorful and were served on beautiful plates that complemented them -- we kept remarking about them!Papaya salad: 4/5, an interesting take on the papaya salad. The flavor is quite different from other papaya salads I've had in the past, but it was still good! Just different, so be prepared for the different flavors.Pad See Ew: 4/5, very standard and classic. Loved the more modern colorful garnishes on top, but the flavors of the dish remained traditional and satisfying.Kabocha Curry with Sun Rice: 4/5, our favorite dish of the evening. Loved all the veggies in the dish, and the curry itself had not-too-oily consistency packed with flavor. We wish more rice came with it though, so maybe order another side of rice in addition to this dish. The waitstaff were very attentive and kind, even as more customers trickled in for dinner. Location is a bit away from things so I'm not usually in the area, but if I were, I would come back!

This was my second time coming here. To my knowledge, it's in an area that doesn't have that many restaurants nearby. You do need to open a door and take a small flight of stairs to get to the actual restaurant. The place itself is decorated fairly nice. At this time they had a moving reindeer and Santa decoration near the back. I got a pad see you and it was plated pretty nice with some flower pedals and some herbs on top. It was more on the saucer side for a dish like this. I did enjoy it, but it took a while for my dish to come and it was maybe the easiest dish that my table ordered. My other friends got green curry, tom yum, fried rice, and pad kra pow that were also yummy!

I've been wanting to try this place for a while and it did not disappoint. Unfortunately, the massaman curry dish was sold out that day so did not get to try. Instead I got the crab fried rice which was really delicious and they hooked it up with the crab meat! We also tried the pork belly dish which was one of the best of the night. The basil chicken was a bit on the sweeter side compared to traditional one. I got the lychee vodka cocktail as well and it was so lychee forward and delicious. Overall, I would come again and I'm glad it's so close to where I live

This Japanese-Thai fusion restaurant offers amazing food, though the service could use some improvement. The Tom Yum and Pad Thai were the highlights--perfectly balanced flavors and generous portions. The dishes were bold, vibrant, and full of authentic spices that brought each bite to life. While the server wasn't very attentive, the delicious food more than made up for it.

Came here for dinner tonight. The restaurant is conveniently located close to the Caltrain station, and I was surprised at how spacious and nice the inside is. I could definitely seeing this being a cute casual date spot. Prices were pretty reasonable and portions were huge. We got the salmon appetizer which was pretty good although on the small side for $17. The beef pad see ew though was huge for $20. They also have some yummy looking desserts and drinks but we were too full to order. Minus one star for the service. Ordering took a long time even though they weren't busy, and we had to ask for the check after nearly an hour.

With a name like Sun and Moon, I knew I had to try this place! I walked here from Powell Station, which took roughly 20 minutes. The entrance is easy to miss, as it's not very noticeable, but once you go in and go upstairs, the space of Sun and Moon is quite vast, with large windows that let in a lot of natural light, complete with a beautiful mural of a woman cradling the sun and moon. It's so beautifully painted, I had to take multiple photos of it and share it to my Instagram story. We shared squid legs for appetizers, which were really tasty! I got a pad thai chicken for my main. Yeah, I know I'm pretty basic when it comes to choosing pad thai, but I really enjoyed it!Service was great. It's a spacious and beautiful space, and I really enjoyed coming here to enjoy some good comforting Thai food on a rainy December day.

Ordered through Doordash. I got the pumpkin curry with tofu and mango sticky rice. The pumpkin curry was delicious! I requested for the spice level to be really spicy and they delivered. The curry also came with rice, which was a plus. The mango sticky rice was a bit of a let down. The mangos were not fresh and seemed like they were starting to brown. Portions were generous and food was well packaged. Overall, 3.8/5 stars.

This is a fantastic hidden gem, down in SOMA. Street parking is usually available at night, which is a big plus!! Very gracious staff, and I highly recommend it for groups, as parties of 6 to 10 can be accommodated. They have a rather nice bar, which is separated from the dining area.We had the crab corn cakes - perfectly prepared, with a good amount of crab, the salmon rolls, and the Pa-lo stew. Meat that just melts in your mouth! All in all, I'm delighted with this place. This is our 3rd visit on a Sat, and good food plus parking is a win-win.
