Stable Cafe

Beautiful outdoor patio with greenery and plenty of seating. The line to order Saturday morning was soooo long and it stayed busy the whole time we were there (till 1pm). I ordered a matcha latte and it was decent. The place is great for a drink and light bites. Order comes out pretty fast so the longest part is waiting in line. However, I'd just come here for vibes vs the food or drinks themselves.

I came here on a Sunday afternoon because Tartine was too crowded. We ended up ordering a fried egg sandwich with bacon and avocado and a rice bowl. We also ordered the bacon and cheddar biscuit to snack on before the food came because we were starving. For drinks, we got the iced latte with oat milk and iced coffee. Everything tasted really good! Even better than what I was expecting. Flavors were on point. I enjoyed sitting at the outdoor patio because it felt relaxing with the plants and fresh air.The reason why I took a star off is because the portions are small. I'm still feeling munchy after eating.

the hot chocolate was un-drinkable. my child took one sip and spit it out. i tried it and just threw it away it was so bad. also the line is extremely long and they don't bring you out your drinks. the outside seating is nice and they have two restrooms which is great.

Excellent menu options. I loved the beet and apple salad. Friendly service. Great outdoor patio.

I loved the huge patio space and rustic greenhouse/garden vibe! Alas, the portion sizes for food seem to run small for the price - ordered a breakfast burrito with bacon ($11 + 3 or so but with tax and tip ended up $20; the burrito itself was pretty standard/the most memorable thing was probably how neatly wrapped it was and the smoky salsa it came with) and had come in not hungry but left still not full! On the other hand my friend's London fog was so large that I thought it was two glasses stacked on top of each other - I'll probably keep this in the coffee catchup rotation but look elsewhere for a meal.

This is an incredible cafe. The outdoor seating area is such a vibe, open, airy, green and spacious. There's also upstairs seating which overlooks the cafe.The salad I got was delicious the Parmesan and chickpea hit the spot and yum--kale!Everyone was has also always been super chill and helpful. Highly recommend :)

The two baristas never greeted me and didn't acknowledge me while I was looking at the menu because they were chatting with a friend. Eventually after the friend left they acknowledged me. My wallet was $7 lighter for a small chai that didn't taste great. They need to switch up their chai brand. There were no to-go lids for the drink. The patio is cute, but that would be the only draw since the service is nonexistent and the chai isn't good. I didn't try the food, but wouldn't come back to chance it.

I've moved on from my Breakfast Sandwich obsession, now it's Avocado Toast. So far I've tried 10 places, and Stable remains #1. The only cafe to understand that when you call something a toast, for gods sake, TOAST IT! Absolute perfection people. Also 5 stars for the outdoor patio, truly an oasis in an otherwise forlorn part of the Mission.

A lovely coffee shop off the beaten path. If you want a day retreat and good conversation with a pal in garden experience, or upstairs in a book this is the place for you . Good for small and medium sized groups. Lots of ample seating most of it outside so perfect for a summer day . Patient staff take your order , and they give you a number for food items which get you pretty quick . On this day I ordered a chai latte with soy milk , and ban mi chicken sandwich. The chai was not too sweet and had a nice flavor, and the ban mi chicken was exceptional .

Cute vibes but I wish they had WiFi and outlets otherwise I'd be there all the time. I got a coffee and granola too. The fruit was fresh. Service was fast.
