Another must-visit spot! The food here is nothing short of perfection--about as authentic as it gets. The bold flavors truly stand out, and I highly recommend trying the chicken wings, salt and pepper fish, and the spicy noodle soup. Every dish was packed with flavor and expertly prepared.The service was fantastic as well--attentive, friendly, and humble staff who make you feel right at home. Tried Spicy House and ordered the spicy beef noodle soup and scallion pancake.The noodle texture was okay, and the beef was tender, but the soup lacked any real spice, which was disappointing given the name. Portion size was decent, so no complaints there.The scallion pancake didn't taste fresh, seeming like it had been previously frozen. Not unusual for this type of dish, but still just average overall.Overall, the food was alright. Nothing particularly stood out, but it wasn't bad either. Would come back in a pinch, but probably wouldn't go out of my way.

As I was saying , this is my go to place for Chinese!!!Schuezwan style and dim sum and much more in one tiny restaurant!(nine tables).Everything was tasty and hot to order. Standout was the beef cumin( spicy with refreshing cilantro , bell peppers and onions! Yummers!Check it out

Their dry fried chicken wings here are fire! On par with San Tung wings. They're sweet & spicy but still super crispy despite being drenched in that delicious sauce. The wings are really juicy & perfectly seasoned! 10/10 for the wings! We also ordered the braised beef & tendon soup and it was good but I wish the broth had more depth. It tasted overwhelmingly of peppercorn, there wasn't enough richness from the beef. The beef was very tender & the tendon was delicious though. Parking is relatively easy, street parking only but we found some metered parking right across from the restaurant.

Honestly a hidden gem here in Daly City. Part of me wishes they stay that way that's why it took me so long to update my review..... x)From the prices to the quality of their food, just wow. The waitress was super friendly as well.I love spicy food and found their dishes to not be too spicy. If you can handle a little spice, I would definitely check them out. I decided to dine in and ordered an exorbitant amount of food for just two people. I guess you could say we got kind of carried away. 8)My favorite things we ordered were the spicy pig ears (#1 fave), spicy tendons, the FRIED CHICKEN (on par with san tung), and the string beans!! One thing to note, the portions are bigger when you dine in compared to getting delivery. Yes, we often find ourselves ordering the pig ears for delivery. Probably in my top 5 fave places to eat in Daly City.

Literally every-time I am in SF, stopping here is a must! I'm addicted to their spicy cabbage... it's SOOOOOO good!

I was as free as a bird on a Friday night. No kids, no spouse, friends were busy, and nothing to do. I went on a date by myself and had dinner at Spicy House. I got a table right away and wanted to order the entire menu but I had to control my inner big back.. I ordered the spicy beef noods and garlic pea sprouts. I wanted some comfort food on a chilly night. It was so romantic. I had a table right by the window and people watched while the spicy oils ran down the side of my mouth. F*ing delicious. Beef was tender, spicy numbing peppers and the noodles were al dente. Pea sprouts were garlicky and had a nice crunch. I'll bring my family next time if they're nice to me.

I've eaten here once and gotten food delivery the second time. I like their regular menu items a lot more than the lunch specials I've tried from them. The beef lunch special I ordered was a good price and it came with hot & sour soup, but the taste was quite average; same goes for the egg and beef lunch special. I really like their fried potatoes + eggplant dish which I've ordered both times. I highly recommend it! The Sichuan hot spicy beef (flavorful and not too spicy), honey walnut shrimp (could use more walnuts), and chicken with explosive chili (juicy, yum) all tasted great!

Food was just OK. Nothing special. The Roast Duck was overcooked and dry. Don't believe it was worth the money I spent. For example- next day I went to another restaurant in Millbrae, their duck was proper, moist fatty & juicy. I was disappointed with Spicy house

Been a visitor of this place on and off for about 2 years. Love their lunch special deal for its value. The egg rolls are some of the best I've come across over the years. Their fried rice is probably my favorite thing about this place. Decided to make this review cause I ordered the dry fried chicken wings for the first time on 2/21/25 and was very disappointed. The skin was crispy and the meat melted off the bones but the sauce they used was far too salty. It felt like I was eating mainly raw fish sauce with barely any actual chicken flavor. I couldn't detect any heat from the chilis despite seeing several visible pieces on top. Minus 1 star because I had high expectations due to their other great food and was let down. On a side note the fried rice still hasn't let me down.
