SUPER delicious Indian food in the Mission! The neighborhood desperately needed an Indian restaurant, and Spice 24 is the answer! This spot used to be the Sunshine Cafe (I miss their breakfast burritos! But come on, they were hardly ever open!) and was finally taken over by this spot.I ordered the 6 piece wings - (5/5, incredible crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. They were spiced and fried to perfection.)Plain Naan with butter - 5/5 Very good! Nice, warm, and flaky naan topped off with a delicious butter spread. Vegetable Samosa - 5/5 another home run for Spice 24! Flaky, delicious outside, and warm cozy goodness inside. The service was quick and fast since there were only two other customers eating when I went to pick it up. The staff were warm and friendly, and they clearly know what they're doing with their food there.I will absolutely return and suggest others to do the same. Very curious about their pizzas. Welcome to the Mission, Spice 24!!!

Yum! New Indian spot in the Mission and I thought it was pretty good. They provided decent sized portions for all the dishes. Huge naan as well. I enjoyed the butter chicken and paneer. The service was great and gentlemen were very kind. If you need a decent Indian take out option, I would recommend!

Me and my beloved recently went to Spice 24 for a bite. It is located next to the wonderful Adobe bookstore where we met all those years ago. I have spent over three years in Bharata aka India and authored three books on my time there. India is like my second home. The folks that run Spice 24 are from the Punjab region of North India where I have been. They are Sikh and Punjabi. I went on yatra aka pilgrimage to Amritsar which is most important pilgrimage spot for Sikhs and is a beautiful very special place worth visiting if you ever visit India. The service was kind and the hospitality was very warm. I live in the Mission so this is my hood and feel Spice 24 is a a bit of a hole in the wall so don't except fine dining yet ambiance is just fine here.We both went with the roti aka whole wheat vegan style similar to naan aka same, same yet different. This was very tasty and quite alright. We also split a Chana Masala dish. We had medium heat and had just enough flavorful heat that wasn't overbearing. I would love to see Spice 24 succeed in the Mission yet one area for improvement was my beloved and I both thought the food was too salty. I would suggest the cooks and chef here to have the dish with less salt for a friend of mine who ate here said the same thing good yet too salty. If the food is less salty we would be back and even bump it up to five stars. I got five on it is a hip hop song in the day says this native New Yorker in SF like Donte of the Warriors gone to the Knicks yet reversed. Five boroughs of NY and five stars potentially if less salt. Our gracious hosts even gave us complimentary kheer aka rice and milk pudding made with flavorful cardamon yet we politely declined the gracious gesture due to both of us following a vegan diet aka avoiding dairy. They say there is no sorry or no thank you in Indian culture yet I say Arigato and I left a truthful review. I've only been here once to place an order for this one of a kind pizza. I ordered in person and waited about 20 mins for it. Service was decent, food was better. The ambiance was very chill. The place has a traditional feel with two-four seats at small tables.

After a night of drinking, this spot is open until 2, and the food was good. Service was good, food came fast and hot, we tried a little bit of everything and left nothing behind. To the classic dishes to their unique ones, I suggest try it all won't disappoint.

This restaurant is a major dissapointment. We ordered everything mild, and it was written on food boxes - mild. Let me tell you, it was so spicy, I couldn't eat it, and I like slicy food. Good thing I tried it before my daughter! Lamb korma $19 came in a small container, and had exaxtly 3 peirces of meat swimming in the sauce! Pizza - we ordered half indian style and half classic combination. While there was peperoni on combo side, it was all super spicy, indian style and ingredients were bad quality, most likely previously frozen. It just tasted like cheap pizza you'd get in the supermarket frozen section. While we ordered enough food to last us a few days, sadly none could be enjoyed. It was very dissapointing. Will not order again

Had the tandoori chicken and tikka masala as takeout and it was great. Nice and polite people at the counter. Will be coming back regularly.
